Waters Edge is a stunning seaside home providing the luxury holiday accommodation in St Ives for friends and families, ideally situated for days on the award winning Porthminster beach or for strolling into St Ives town with its galleries, boutique shops, restaurants and picturesque harbour. Hallway

You enter to a spacious hallway with solid walnut flooring and intercom Entryphone. There is a useful area for hanging coats as well as door to small utility room containing washer/dryer, Iron/Ironing board and airer. A sideboard with lamp and full length mirror are provided.

Living Area

The open plan living area is dominated by the floor to ceiling double sliding doors showcasing panoramic views of St Ives Bay taking in Porthminster Beach and Godrevy Lighthouse. Leading out onto a private decked balcony, with wooden bench and table with four chairs perfectly placed for you to sit back and enjoy the view or a spot of alfresco dining. A three seater sofa and matching armchair give you more places to relax and enjoy the view or take advantage of the excellent entertainment packages including a 42″ LG HDMI LED TV with Sky original package and XBox 360, iPad docking station with Bluetooth connectivity, selection of dvds/games and complimentary WiFi.

Dining Area

The dining area is conveniently situated between the kitchen and living area, perfect for socialising with those busily preparing in the kitchen. A stylish circular glass and chrome table with four leather dining chairs are provided for your comfort.

Kitchen

The contemporary kitchen comprises of white high gloss units teamed with black granite work tops and splash backs. It is suitably appointed with an integrated Neff oven/grill, microwave, 4 ring ceramic hob, extractor fan, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The owners have taken care to ensure that you will have all the crockery, glassware and utensils you need in your luxurious home by the sea. For coffee lovers, you are sure to enjoy the Tassimo coffee machine.

Utility

A large utility room can be found off the entrance hallway where there is ample space for storing beach gear and hanging additional coats. A Neff washer-dryer, iron, ironing board can also be found within.

Master with ensuite

This bright and spacious bedroom has floor to ceiling sliding doors with stunning views which open onto the private balcony. It is carpeted throughout with a beautifully dressed king size bed with memory foam mattress topper, matching bedside tables with lamps, dressing table and chair.

The nautical wallpaper on the feature wall pays homage to the fantastic views and coastal location, whilst the large built-in double wardrobe and chest of drawers ensure you have ample space to stow away your belongings. If you ever tire of the maritime scenes before you, there is a Panasonic LCD HD TV with Freeview. The master bedroom also benefits from its own fully tiled en-suite bathroom with complimentary White Company toiletries and hairdryer for guest use.

Bedroom Two

The bedroom two is also located to the rear of the property, th white New England style twin beds with memory foam toppers and luxury egyptian cotton bedding will smooth the way to a comfortable night’s sleep in this quiet room. A large built-in double wardrobe and chest of drawers offers plentiful hanging and shelf storage. A bedside table with lamp, dressing table, vanity mirror, chair and a hairdryer are also provided.

There is a Toshiba 24″ HDMI LCD TV with DVD and Freeview plus a Sony radio/alarm with docking station for devices. Carpet is laid throughout, with dimmable spot lighting, the second bedroom is conveniently located next to the family bathroom.

Luxury cotton bed linen is provided in both bedrooms with a selection of high quality towels for each guest.

Family Bathroom

The spacious family bathroom is located off the entrance hallway, next to bedroom two and is tiled throughout. Comprising a bath with overhead shower, WC, large wash basin, chrome heated towel rail, a large mirror and shaver point.

Master ensuite

The master bedroom en-suite boasts the same superb contemporary style with floor and wall tiles and comprises a bath with overhead shower, WC, large wash basin, heated chrome towel rail, shaver point, and vanity mirror.

A selection of high quality towels are provided per person along with complimentary White Company Toiletries.

The large private decked balcony is accessible from both the lounge and master bedroom via the floor to ceiling double sliding doors. An wooden table with four chairs and a wooden bench with cushions are provided for alfresco dining or pre-dinner drinks. This luxury apartment is located just above Porthminster beach and benefits from panoramic sea views across the bay to Gwithian and Godrevy lighthouse and down to St Ives harbour and the Island.

  • Pleasant apartment in lovely location.

    "Waters Edge is lovely apartment, clean, spacious and modern. It is well equipped, has 2 nice bathrooms with good showers over the baths.
    The apartment is stylish with internal decoration to a high standard and has a welcoming feel to it.
    Waters Edge has a good view of Porthminster Beach, but as the balcony is North facing it doesn’t get direct sunlight, only at sunrise which is great to wake up to.
    The balcony is looking a little tired and unloved... New patio furniture and a deck clean would make all the difference.
    Peninsula apartments are in an unrivalled position overlooking Porthminster Beach and are convenient for all amenities in St Ives. They also offer the great advantage of access to the Harbour Hotel Spa for the duration of your stay.
    I highly recommend Peninsula Apartments and will definitely return.

  • A well-equipped apartment with beautiful views

    "We had a brilliant holiday at Waters Edge. The apartment had beautiful views from the large balcony. Inside was clean and well equipped. The en-suite bathroom was huge as were the rooms. The children enjoyed the Xbox and the huge range of games provided. It is very close to a beautiful beach; it was nice to wake to the sound of the waves. We would definitely consider coming back in the future."

Availability for Waters Edge

Calendar View and Table View for reference are shown below, the latter shows pricing for the property.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrival and Departure dates for your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.

For late notice breaks i.e. arrivals within 7 days, breaks are discounted by up to 20%, the dates can overlap a changeover day only if the overlap occurs within the next 7 days. Please note these reductions only apply to weekly bookings.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
