"Excellent flat, clean and well-equipped."
"The location of this property is ideal if you are travelling by rail as the local station is an easy stroll around the corner. We chose to stay in these apartments because they appeared to be so close to the bay. Halfway Tree was wonderfully well equipped, clean and with the most perfect view of the sea. Fabulous to be able to hear it too.
We spent quite a time in the apartment as it was so relaxing only making short trips down the private path (surprisingly easy even though we experience some mobility problems) and getting a snack at the Carbis Bay Hotels' restaurant on the beach. Also, a trip or two to St Ives on the train, so convenient. Special thanks to the staff in the Carbis Bay holidays agency who handled our booking and sent helpful extra info prior to our holiday, were always prompt and polite and friendly and to our housekeeper Kerry who met us in the biggest rainfall we'd had this year and settled us in. Also, thanks to the rest of the housekeeping team who called to prepare the apartment for the next visitors just as we were leaving, how patient and friendly they were. We would definitely recommend using Carbis Bay Holidays and staying in the Halfway Tree Beach apartment.
"Fantastic cosy apartment overlooking such a beautiful bay. We love coming to Carbis Bay and will be back soon"
"Fantastic apartment! Lovely and clean and well welcoming and everything you could possibly need. Views are amazing could have spent all day just looking out to of the window. Lucky enough to spot dolphins one day! Great walks and lots to do. Thank you, well be back!"

"A lovely apartment in a perfect location. No dolphons but almost daily seals. Another great week in Carbis Bay"
"We loved the apartment, it more than met our expectations – clean, well furnished, very good quality bedding and towels; kitchen had everything that we needed. Plus a view to die for. We genuinely cannot think of anything that could be improved."
"Our stay at Halfway Tree was very enjoyable, the apartment was lovely, well decorated, spotless, very well equipped, comfortable and in a wonderful location overlooking Carbis Bay beach; the views were truly amazing. We visited Godrevy Lighthouse which was a wonderful day out as the views and scenery were breathtaking; with the added bonus of seeing seals in their natural surroundings truly a wonderful sight. St Ives (this was our fourth visit) is a joy to visit as it has such interesting shops and galleries on this visit we found a great restaurant called Beach Restaurant which is overlooking the harbour the food is truly delicious and the service is second to none."
"We all had an absolutely wonderful time, Halfway Tree was as stunning as the views out of the bedroom and living room. It was in pristine condition too – felt like a five star hotel. We had a great time walking into St Ives each evening, then walking back by moonlight. Had a lovely posh meal in Al Fresco and a more relaxed one in Pels, both fantastic."
"We had a wonderful time at half way tree and found the apartment absolutely stunning and in perfect order we will be definitely recommending to friends and family thanks very much."
“The apartment was one of the best we have stayed in & had everything you could want. We loved waking up to the sound of the sea. Beautiful views & ideally located for the station & the short ride to St Ives. The services of Carbis Bay Holidays was also excellent throughout. Thanks to everyone & we are looking forward to our next visit! “
“We had a great holiday. The apartment was great and already missing the sea views and sounds of the waves crashing. We also found the apartment very clean with everything in working order as well as being handy for the train into St. Ives.”
"Halfway Tree is one of the best apartments we have stayed in, we very much enjoyed our week there thank you. We particularly loved the massive sofa - with reclining seats! And the master bed was really comfortable. And of course the location and the view simply can't be beaten."

"We had a great time and my entire family loved it! Halfway Tree was excellent with fantastic view of the sea! We will definitely recommend it and hopefully will come back in near future"
"We had a superb break, Halfway Tree was very clean, freshly decorated, comfortable with every convenience you could want. Fantastic views, golden beaches, crystal clear water. Thank you for a wonderful time."
"We had a super time in Carbis Bay, enjoying a winning combination of fine weather, terrific location and good quality accommodation. Restaurants -- Porthmeor Cafe, - The Shack on the beach at Carbis Bay, Blas Burgerworks, La Casita, Porthminster Beach Cafe. Walks - The coastal walks in both directions from Carbis Bay are well worth doing. Enjoyed trips to Fowey, Polzeath and along the coast to St Agnes and Perranporth. Golf at Tregenna Castle"
"We had a great time and the apartment was A1, we had a few walks to St Ives and got the train back, we found the Mermaid on Fish Street, the best lunch we have had in a long while. Walking on the beach at low tide was bliss, no hills or steps, clean fresh air and you could walk for miles."

"We had a super time. Halfway Tree was everything we thought it would be & more. It was quiet - except the fireworks on the beach from the wedding at the hotel on Friday night but that ended off our perfect holiday. Highly recommend the Lifeboat restaurant in St Ives - great for kids too. Walk to Lelant Saltings & train back to Carbis Bay was superb. Porthkidney Sands beach was deserted! Minack theatre is a must"
"The views from Halfway Treee were as hoped for and the comfort of the apartment excellent. The welcome pack with cream tea, a great touch. Our favourite bits were - the walk to St Ives, Porthminster Beach cafe, Kynance Cove, St Michaels Mount, Cadgwith, Trebah, Seal Sanctuary and spectacular Minack theatre on a perfect day."
"We had a wonderful holiday in Cornwall and Halfway Tree was an exceptional base for our good times. The food box from foods4yourholidays was terrific. A great suggestion on your part. We dined on the vegetables all week. It was a particular treat for the first night of arrival when a glass of wine, a light dinner and a relaxing evening trumped going grocery shopping! Lovely dinner at Alba Restaurant in St. Ives."
"A great holiday in Halfway Tree, it fully met all of our expectations in terms of furniture, fittings and outlook. The location and views over the bay were superb and the proximity to the railway made visiting St Ives a much more pleasant and convenient experience than driving and parking. The Coastal Walkway to St Ives was also very pleasant and not too challenging. The path to Lelant is a bit narrower, with more ups and downs and more restricted views - but providing access to the fabulous deserted beach. One of the best experiences we had was at Goonhilly Downs, at the Offroad Segway centre - approx 45 minutes from Carbis Bay. Eating out was all very good, the Badger being excellent value for money and the small Italian restaurant, Caffe Pasta, facing the harbour on the west side, providing a high quality and not too expensive lunch."
"It's fair to say that we did have a really good time in Carbis Bay. We were lucky to have some sunshine and also experienced the wrath of a Cornish storm which made for a dramatic afternoon watching the waves from the comfort of the front room. There is little praise to heap on the accommodation that you won't have heard before, it is a very well furnished flat with lots of space and light, and a brilliant kitchen. We decided, that in the many holidays we have had over the years - to the Caribbean, to many cities, New Zealand, Dubai etc - this is the most spectacular and inspirational view we have ever had. It really is a privilege to have woken up every day to such a beautiful scene - and in England! Regarding the restaurants, the pick of the bunch was the Porthminster Cafe with its signature monkfish curry dish, but you need to book and it's expensive. Mermaids was also excellent, as was Alba. For those going a bit further, Rick Stein's Seafood bar in Falmouth was superb with a tapas menu based on his travels around Spain and all delicious. We also went to see the Kidz R Us production of the Seussical while we were there - would recommend any visitors going to see their work if it is on at the time. Incredible energy from a talented group of kids. My husband had a great time building sandcastles and exploring the rocks with our son. Carbis Bay and the surrounding area is stunning offering an incredible ambiance and the perfect setting for a relaxed family holiday."
"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Halfway Tree as usual. Love the location and accommodation. Looking forward to our next visit."
"Spotlessly clean, Halfway Tree was comfortable relaxing place to stay, to sleep hearing the waves lapping the beach below was worth the drive from Yorkshire. Would recommend the Badger inn, La casita, Becks fish and chips, the best fish and chips we have ever had by far. Our favorite walks were Carbis Beach to Godrevy Lighthouse and to park at Sennen Cove and walk to Lands End"
"The most wonderful holiday my wife has ever had, thankyou."
"Halfway Tree has an excellent location so close to the beach, railway line, St Ives, etc, it is modern and spacious. Good lunches were served at the Beach cafe, lovely coastal walk to St Ives"
"Halfway Tree was beautfiul and had lots of character, a real home from home with a wonderful view !!"
"We have had a wonderful holiday. Halfway Tree was very well furnished, with everything we could possibly need. St Ives and the surrounding area is lovely, having not visited for many years myself and this being the first time I have taken my own children, I am glad to see it hasn't been spoilt and commercialised like many areas. The service given by yourselves has been excellent with very comprehensive information supplied. We hopefully look forward to another holiday with yourselves next year."
"Thank you for a wonderful stay at Halfway Tree. The apartment itself was clean and spacious and allowed plenty of space for our young children to enjoy themselves whilst we were there. Having the free wifi and sky tv were also bonuses as we felt that we were at home and not out of touch. One of the best parts of the holiday was coming back to the apartments with a beautiful view and the sound of the tide lapping on the shore."
"We had a lovely time at the apartment and the view was spectacular. The apartment was clean and met all of our expectations. The walks suggested were great and provided breathtaking views."
"We had a really fantastic time staying at Halfway Tree. The apartment is really great - very spacious, clean and such an amazing view! It felt like being on an island somewhere and we didn't want to leave! The coastal walk to St. Ives was very nice and we went to the Eden Project, which was a really good day out. Thankyou very much for a great holiday and we hope to come back in the near future."
