"Hi Carbis bay team,
We loved our stay, always do when book through you, we spend our main two holidays March and September down in Carbis bay, and we wouldn't book with any other company other than yourself, due to the luxury acommadation that you offer,
Special mention to Kerry, who was very attentive if there was a minor problem,
She solved it straight away,
Can't believe we have got to wait 6 all months to come to our favourite place."

"The accommodation was as expected, we loved the patio and view from the property and spent much time staring at the ocean. Recommended restaurants were The Badger at Lelant, La Casita in Carbis Bay, Peppers in St Ives and the Union in St Ives. Thanks for the excellent administration, directions and advice."

"The holiday in carbis bay was our first stay in England - and we enjoyed it very much.We were very surprised about the warmth, friendliness, helpfulness of the cornish people. The accommodation (app. Viridian) was very luxury with a warm atmosphere and we felt at home from the first moment. The view to the ocean was overwhelming."

“We had a perfect holiday on our first visit to the area. We were lucky with the weather and were able to make the most of the deck and wonderful position of the apartment which was of a very high standard. Lovely memories and I only booked on the Monday before after seeing an advert in Coast magazine. The whole process has been very easy including the welcome on arrival.”

"We had a super couple of weeks staying in Viridian. The standards of cleanliness, accommodation and administration were excellent. We saw lots of seals, even close to the shore at Carbis Bay. We walked into Carbis Bay; to Lelant along the coastal path. Further afield we really enjoyed going to Cape Cornwall. If you want a change from takeaways from Becks (excellent) try the Italian for lovely pizzas to take away. "

"We had a fabulous holiday and Viridian was wonderful. We walked in to St Ives along the cliff path and also the other way to Lelant which was good exercise for us all. We went to the Tate and Barbara Hepworth Garden which were okay and also visited St Michaels Mount, Lands End and Tintagel Castle, which we all enjoyed. We ate in St Ives a few times – The Balcony, The Hub and Olives which are all good, especially Olives, their scones are immense. "

"We really spent two absolutely relaxing weeks in your wonderful Viridian apartment. Your service was excellent and you were very helpful in every respect. The cleanliness of the apartment was very good. We specially enjoyed the beautiful look over Carbis Bay as well as the footpath to St. Ives. Especially beautiful were our walks around the cliffs i.e. Hell's Mouth, the Beach at Gwithian, Godrevy Lighthouse, Kynance Cove and Sennen Cove, the beautiful gardens of Trelissick and Trengwainton and the lovely Garden of Bosvigo etc. The lovely little cities of Falmouth and St. Ives. So many things to see and to do, we decided we come back to accomplish our list of things to do."

"Viridian is a lovely apartment in a great location. Everything was perfect , the property is very well fitted, really comfortable and the views from the balcony are exceptional. The railway station is very handy as it is just a couple of minutes walk from the property so it is really easy to get into St Ives without worrying about parking the car. St ives is a lovely town, with some really great restaurants and bars. We also loved Carbis Bay Beach, it was lovely to walk by the sea and enjoy watching the waves roll onto the beach. A great service/overall
experience."

"Viridian was excellent as always. 'Porthminster Cafe' is a special treat! Particularly enjoyed the Trelissick NT garden / gallery & favourite walks include Godrevy to Hells Mouth Cafe & the coastal path near the Minack Theatre (not forgetting the obligatory cream teas). Although we are not naturists we will keep the name of the most beautiful (if not difficult to reach) beach in Cornwall under wraps so that it remains quiet & unspoilt!"

Your holiday lets are of such a high standard that we would always prefer to stay at one of your places..we know we will get the best !"

"We had a wonderfully relaxing few days in the Viridian apartment. It is an amazing property with stunning views and easy access to the Coastal path. The highlights for us were the three minute train ride into St Ives for dinner in the evenings and waking up to a view of Godrevy Lighthouse. We will definitely be returning."

"We had a great holiday staying in Viridian. The apartment was perfectly laid out and beautifully clean. Everything we could have need was provided, even bucket and spade! The location was fabulous and we used the little train into St Ives which our three year old little girl loved. We had a great dinner out at the Alba restaurant next to the lifeboat house - pre dinner cocktails, superb seafood and the most mouth watering ice cream with liqueur coffees followed by a lovely wander around the old streets and then the last train back to Carbis Bay at 10.30pm. It was great to have a Tesco on hand for the extra clotted cream and bottles of Proper Job (a St Austell Brewery ale that has to be sampled).
Ocean Sports on the beach at Carbis Bay were brilliant for Kayaking - when they weren't busy, they let us take the kayaks out for more than the allotted hour which only cost £7.50. They also gave us their phone number and said if they weren't on the beach then we could call and they would come down. What service! Our little girl went to Hands In Art at the Tate which was for 0 - 5 year olds, free of charge, and they could paint to their hearts' content. We have two masterpieces to frame - fantastic. "

"This was our first visit to Cornwall and will definitely not be our last. When we walked into the apartment the amazing view took our breath away, stunning!. The Viridian is beautiful and very well equipped. We visited the Porthminster Beach Café the food there is gorgeous, and what a stunning view. We took in quite a few of Cornwalls wonderful sights, The Eden Project – this is somewhere I have always wanted to visit and it didn’t disappoint. This is a place for all ages to visit. Lands End is quite spectacular as is Lizard Point both are something not to be missed on a visit. But my personal favorite was St. Michaels Mount. What a wonderful place, the gardens are stunning, so tropical. We went across by boat because the tide was in, but later in the day we saw people wading across to the mount on the causeway when the tide was turning. This is a magical place a jewel in Cornwall’s crown. "

"Viridian was excellent with everything you required and the views were wonderful, we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks Restaurants we enjoyed Fore Street restaurant- Mousehole. The Mermaid Seafood Restaurant St.ives. St. Michaels Mount, Godrevy, very enjoyable places to visit. Also Lanhydrock House and gardens near Bodmin extremely interesting history of the house and lovely walks round the gardens and along the river."

"We certainly did enjoy our holiday in Viridian, the accommodation well exceeded expectations. It was very clean and comfortable and in a fabulous location. We had everything we needed. As this was our first trip we went to a few different places and enjoyed seeing Lizard Point and Land’s End. Mousehole and St Mawes were nice little places but we didn’t think much to the larger places like Newquay and Falmouth. St Ives is beautiful and would spend more time there if we went again. Parking isn’t easy so may use the train from just behind the apartment another time. As for restaurants, we had a couple of nice meals at the Watermill in Lalent and the fish and chips were good from Becks near the apartment."

"We had a truly wonderful holiday, when we entered the apartment we were not disappointed. The little touches in the kitchen and in the bathroom made the stay quite luxurious. The weather was good, only one day of rain, but we were happy to sit in and read marvelling at the views. We enjoyed fish and chips at Becks, a good meal at La Cassita, The Loft at St Ives though this was a little more expensive. The Badger was excellent, the crab salad wonderful! The big advantage is that it serves food all day so after a long walk you can drop in and have an early meal before heading back to the apartment. We enjoyed walking into St Ives and walking back! Walks along the coast line and beaches. The walk to Godrevie was supberb. We also walked to Pothkidney Sands, the track going was rather muddy so sturdy shoes were need. We climbered up some rocks from the beach on the way back which avoided the muddy pathway. We visisted St Michael's Mount, Mousehole and Helegan. Being a garden lover I found Helegan fascinating."

"We had a marvelous time in Viridian, thank you! The apartment was everything we could have hoped for and more - absolutely stunning, and what a location!! I would have no hesitation in recommending the property to everybody I know. To summarise - loved it!! The walk to St Ives was lovely and not too demanding. Favourite restaurant was the Seafood Cafe in St Ives, plus we spent a lot of time in The Sloop! Trip to Seal Island was great and St Michael's Mount and the Minack Theatre are a must - gorgeous! "

"We could have not asked for a more relaxing holiday with perhaps one of the most beautiful views in England. Everything was first class, service, cleanliness and high spec facilities – wonderful. It was great walking over to St Ives everyday to pick up a paper or coffee or to eat. Great food in Albama (Not sure of the spelling), Seafood Café and the Mermaid and an early sun downer in The Carbis Bay Hotel set us up for the evening! "

"Viridian was beautifully kept, spotlessly clean and we felt that no expense had been spared with the furnishings and equipment. The view from the decking is outstanding. We even saw the seals swimming in the bay. We booked this holiday to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we had hoped that it would meet our expectations. It did that and more. SUPERB !!"

"We had a super holiday in Viridian, the standard of the accommodation was very good and the views were spectacular. The apartment was also very clean and well equipped. It was lovely and spacious and I did like the opening from the kitchen into the lounge diner. We visited some lovely places and I would highly recommend The Minack Theatre, St Michaels Mount, Lanhydrock National Trust House & Gardens and Godrevy Lighthouse. There are loads of little coves and beaches to visit at numerous place along the coastline if you don't mind getting in your car and exploring."

"It was our fourth stay in Carbis Bay in various apartments and have been very impressed with every one, however the extra little touches in Viridian made this one our favourite so far. The standards and cleanliness were what we have come to expect from Carbis Bay Holidays---superb!! .We enjoyed a lovely full english breakfast at Coast in St Ives; a lovely meal at La Casitta at the top of the hill; and the best fish and chips from Becks."

"Our holiday at Viridian was delightful. The apartment is of an excellent standard and the views are stunning. We spent hours just sitting on the decking and watching the comings and goings on the beach and out at sea - most relaxing. We ate out at The Sea Food Cafe in St Ives which was very pleasant, but the best meal we had was at The Porthminster Cafe on the beach - expensive, but worth it for the experience. Another treat for the two ladies in the party was a very relaxing massage and facial treatment at the Sail Lofts beauty parlour just behind The Sloop Inn. All in all an excellent holiday."

"We had a lovely stay in ‘Viridian’, outlook fantastic, views to die for. The Italian at the top of the hill in Carbis Bay we found very good – but St Ives easy to get to by train or bus or walking which was enjoyable. We went to places already recommended, ie Porthminster Beach Café. Our sons spend a fair amount of time at ‘The Track’ – the biking place which we would recommend for anyone that way inclined – a 20 minute drive away."

"Viridian was fantasitic and everything we hoped for, the view was amazing and even though the weather was not kind, just sitting and looking at the view more than made up for it. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the walk from Carbis Bay to St Ives was wonderful, just the right length before the kids started to complain. My 14 year old and his dad had a fantastic time trying out segways for the first time at Cornish Segways up at Newquay. We also had great days out at Falmouth Maritime Museum and at the Royal Museum of Cornwall in Truro. Super meals at Blas Burgers and Peppers
in St Ives."

"Viridian was a fantastic apartment, it is well equipped and I don’t think you could get a better view, we even managed breakfast on the terrace which given it was December was pretty good going. The local seals were in the bay and the beach was perfect for our 6 year old son so it really is an ideal location for a family holiday. We paid a visit to St Michaels Mount and Mousehole to see the Christmas lights, both of which are within easy driving distance as are most things south of St. Ives. We took the train into St. Ives, which took less than 5 minutes, and was so much easier than trying to park, and we found a lovely cafe tucked away on a Porthgwidden beach for afternoon tea. We also ventured as far as Padstow which is always worth a visit. Our favourite place, however, has to be “Fifteen” Jamie Oliver’s restaurant in Watergate Bay. It’s about 45 minutes drive from Carbis Bay but definitely worth the trip, We love the area and the beach life style and would definitely look to go back to Carbis Bay again in the future."

"We very much enjoyed our stay in Viridian, all aspects of the accommodation met our expectations. One of the things that we thought was brilliant about Viridian was the choice of outdoor furniture (the pagoda table and chairs) - so comfortable for sitting in to eat or lounging about reading the papers. We particularly enjoyed Blas Burgerworks and the new fish and chip restaurant on the seafront (forgotten name) but we went there several times! Carbis Bay has become a really special place for our family - one of our favourite places in the world - and we will definitely be back again next year for more of the same!"

"Viridian, location and overall service was superb. The standard and quality of the apartment was first class, extremely well fitted out with everything from flat screen TV's, to a PS2. The apartment was well prepared for our arrival and handed over to us professionally. The whole administration piece of reservation, confirmation of booking and payment was easy and friendly. Basically exceeded our expectations to such an extent that we would really like to return next year to the same apartment."

We had a wonderful time, Viridian was immaculate with all the creature comforts you would need. I have already recommended the property and the location to 10 of my friends and family (who have kids a similar age and were looking for beautiful places to go in the UK). Absolutely fantastic!

"We had a wonderful week in Carbis Bay. All of us thought the apartment was fabulous - spotless on arrival, very well equipped, especially the kitchen and comfortably furnished. We really enjoyed sitting on the decked area having breakfast and planning the day ahead. Carbis Bay, with its beautiful beach, is a great place to stay and we loved the train journey into St Ives."

"We had a lovely week in Viridian - it was our second visit to the apartment and hopefully it won't be our last. The administration side of things has always been efficient and helpful too."
