Sea View is a stunning ground floor seafront apartment in the sought after Barepta Cove Apartments in Carbis Bay with direct access onto the South West coastal path and a short stroll to the beach. Sea View definitely lives up to its namesake with floor to ceiling windows in the living area and master bedroom perfectly framing the panoramic views from St Ives round to Godrevy Lighthouse.

Sea View has been stylishly decorated throughout with original modern art that compliments the maritime and artistic heritage of St Ives.

Notice of Building Works

  • There are building works for new apartments in the plot next to Barepta Cove Apartments on Headland Rd. Contractors are onsite and work will be carried out during weekdays and Saturday mornings but will cease for the rest of the weekend and bank holidays. There is very little disruption and it cannot be seen or heard from inside the property.
  • Feb 2019 Update: The external works to the main building are very close to completion, scaffolding is still in place whilst windows are installed & painting of the building. The car park to the building and gardens are still in progress, although most works are now internal, The building is estimated to finish by late spring 2019. To date there have been no complaints from guests about noise.

Parking

  • A designated space is provided within the secure gated car park.

Access

  • Access to the apartment is from the car parking area through the main door and down a small set of nine stairs.

Living Area

The spacious living and dining area is dominated by the fantastic view so the sea and bay through the floor to ceiling windows and doors. The sliding doors provide direct access onto the private terrace allowing you to enjoy an alfresco meal or just let the light and fresh air flood in. Sit back on the comfortable four seat sofa with chaise and enjoy the view or watch your favourite film with the 32″ JVC TV with Sky package, DVD player or stay in touch with the complimentary WiFi. An adjustable standard lamps, dimmable spot lights, footstools and side tables help to make you perfectly comfortable.

Dining Area

The dining area with oak and four stylish chairs is conveniently situated between the kitchen and living area, perfect for socialising with those who are busy in the kitchen.

Alternatively, the terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy al fresco dining during the warm summer evenings. Take in the beautiful sea views across St Ives Bay and relax to the pace of Cornwall.

The bookcase also located in the living area houses a selection of book, board games and local artwork.

There is wood flooring throughout the living areas of this luxury apartment.

Kitchen

The contemporary kitchen is located to the rear of the property with a large opening into the living and dining area allowing you to full advantage of the amazing sea views. The rear window also allows additional natural light into the kitchen, with a Venetian style blind provided for your privacy.

The modern white gloss, soft close units and black granite work tops provide ample storage and preparation space. Integral appliances comprise of an electric oven/grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, full size dishwasher and gas four burner hob with extractor above. The spacious kitchen also has a toaster, kettle, coffee machine, and all the crockery and utensils you would expect from an apartment of this quality. There is a wooden breakfast table provided with two matching chairs for enjoying breakfast or socialising with the chef of the day.

The washing machine and tumble dryer are in a large cupboard in the hallway.

Bedroom One

This bright and spacious bedroom has floor to ceiling sliding doors with stunning views which open onto the private terrace. It is carpeted throughout with a beautifully dressed has super-king zip and link(6 ft) bed, which can be arranged as a twin upon request, matching bedside tables with lamps, five drawer chest of drawers and large wardrobe.

The fantastic views and coastal location are reflected inthe large built-in double wardrobe ensuring you have ample space to stow away your belongings. There are two comfortable rattan armchairs provided for gazing at the views, if you ever tire of the maritime scenes before you, there is a Toshiba 22″ LCD HD TV with Freeview and integrated DVD. This stunning room also benefits from its own fully tiled en-suite bathroom with complimentary White Company toiletries and hairdryer for guest use.

Bedroom Two

Bedroom two is located to the rear of the property, the matching twin beds and luxury egyptian cotton bedding will smooth the way to a comfortable night’s sleep in this quiet room. A large built-in double wardrobe with mirrored doors offers plentiful hanging and shelf storage, a bedside table with reading lamp.

Carpet is laid throughout, with pendant lighting.

Luxury cotton bed linen is provided in both bedrooms with a selection of high quality towels for each guest.

Family Bathroom

The family bathroom provides a shower cubicle, WC, large wash basin , heated towel rail and mirror with shaver point.

Bedroom One Ensuite

Bedroom One ensuite comprises of a white suite with a bath and overhead shower, WC, twin sinks with storage underneath, a chrome heated towel rail, large mirror with shaver point.

A selection of high quality towels are provided for each guest along with complimentary White Company toiletries in each bathroom.

Both bathrooms benefit from underfloor heating.

Seaward Facing Terrace

The spacious seaward facing terrace is located via sliding doors from the living area and master bedroom. Push back the doors to allow the fresh sea air in and to take in the astonishing panoramic sea views, from the Island in St Ives across the bay to the Godrevy lighthouse. Why not sit at the table with four chairs, perfect for enjoying alfresco meals with fabulous views? Alternatively curl up in the gorgeous rounded chairs provided and relax into Cornwall in style.

Communal Garden

The tranquil communal gardens are situated to the front of the development and provide access down to the private gate which leads directly onto the South West Coast Path. There is also a outdoor shower for communal use within the lovely communal gardens, perfect for washing off after a day on the beach or a morning surf?

Barepta Cove

Barepta Cove Apartments are situated on Headland Road on the old site of the Tregorran Hotel. This stunning development is perfectly positioned to maximise the views across Carbis Bay beach (formerly known as Barepta Cove) and towards St Ives.

The railway station is just a short walk away, this single track line is probably one of the most scenic in the UK and links St Ives to St Erth, Penzance and mainline stations. The Blue Flag beach is closeby and the apartments have direct access onto the coastal path via a private gate at the bottom of the communal gardens, providing outstanding panoramas of the Cornish coastline. Completed in 2014, there are 14 apartments over 4 floors and have been built to a very high specification with underfloor heating, sliding doors to balconies, integral white goods and oak flooring throughout. Some apartments have lift access and each apartment has allocated parking and a balcony or terrace. Guests also have use of the communal gardens and a designated disabled parking bay is available on a first come first served basis.

Availability for Sea View

Calendar View and Table View for reference are shown below, the latter shows pricing for the property.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrival and Departure dates for your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.

For late notice breaks i.e. arrivals within 7 days, breaks are discounted by up to 20%, the dates can overlap a changeover day only if the overlap occurs within the next 7 days. Please note these reductions only apply to weekly bookings.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
