First time we have stayed in Ivory and it was probably the best we have had the pleasure of staying in. The bonus of using the spa at Carbis Bay was a real treat. Especially after along walk. Thanks again."

"Struggling to think of anything to say about this apartment, and Carbis Bay that hasn't already been said before. Absolutely incredible holiday and everything about Ivory is spectacular, especially the views. Equipped way beyond expected and soon felt like home from home. So much that we booked to come back again next year before the end of our third night here. Thank you for the memories."

Beautiful apartment. Very well equipped, coffee pods even supplied, thank you! Views from balcony and breath-taking views and we were lucky enough to see the seals and even a pod dolphin one morning. Breakfast on the balcony every morning, we’re from ‘up north’ so used to a bit of a chill in the air, waking up to the sound of the sea each morning was very relaxing. Try Becks Fish & Chips, excellent and very friendly service, would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone. Great holiday.

This is our 2nd time in this wonderful apartment. So well equipped with fantastic views of Carbis Bay. Enjoyed visits to lands end, the Eden Project, Tate in St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth museum. Lovely walks into St Ives along the coastal path. Great holiday!

We really enjoyed this holiday in Cornwall. The apartment had wonderful views and was a great location near the sea. We would really recommend the coastal walk to St Ives, Lands End and St Michaels Mount but make sure you Don’t get trapped by the tide coming in. You should try the ice cream in St Ives as it is great, and they have loads of different flavours on offer. Other highlights included the seal trip (which you are almost guaranteed to at least see one) and the twilight walk (which is a ghost walk for kids) there’s were great too.

Fabulous apartment, fabulous views and spa was a welcomed treat. We were very lucky as the seal came to visit nearly every day. We love Ivory and return every year. Thanks for a great stay.

A beautiful flat, a wonderful view and sunshine every day so far, in one of my favourite counties, thank you, really what more could we ask for?

Amazing apartment with wonderful views, we will come back. The restaurants around the area are great for Gluten free. Love when in the morning we can eat breakfast on the balcony. This is the 2nd time we have stayed with Carbis Bay Holidays and we love it. Been to the beach lots as its quick and easy to get there totally recommend it to anyone. We are definitely coming next year! Thank you so much.

Fabulous stay as always, with some amazing weather, first time in ivory and it is lush. Food, we decided to go further afield;
The Gwnards Head
The Tinners Arms
Cornish Arms, Hayle. Beached a lot! Paradise park walks to Godrevy, Geovor Tin Mine – inside the mine will blow your mind. Braved St Ives, but quite busy. Peaceful in Carbis Bay, so much nicer. Back next year, if not before.

"Absolutely amazing apartment don't want to go home. Beautiful weather, views are stunning and just lovely to wake up with the sound of the sea. We will re-visit very soon"

"Cornwall in January, would recommend it! Beautiful apartment, amazing views, some rain but when the sun shines the bay looks wonderful. 3rd time with Carbis Bay Holidays and would love to come back to Ivory"

"We have stayed in several flats in Carbis Bay over the years, but this has been the best, we will be booking again! We have re-visited our favorite eating places in St Ives. Thank you for the cream tea and little extras, much appropriated"

"We wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed ourselves here this week. Despite being mid-winter ( and especially as my husband and I live in Uganda which is currently a round 30-35 degrees right now ) we did not freeze to death and found the apartment most comfortable, with the best views of the sea we can remember. We will most certainly recommend it to our family and friends and will definitely return if we come back next winter A couple of questions before we leave tomorrow , did you intend for us to take the small blue bucket and spade plus the 'Carbis Bay' shopping bag hanging on the kitchen door, are they gifts to remind us of our stay?"

"Ivory was absolutely stunning, and lacked nothing at all for the perfect holiday, we stayed in and cooked most nights and the kitchen was excellently equipped. The apartment was total luxury in every respect and the views were breathtaking. Whenever I am lucky enough to have time for another holiday, Ivory will be top of my list of places to stay in Cornwall and I would certainly look to book an apartment through yourselves."

“Thank you for a great holiday. We had such a lovely time. Ivory was so well equipped and terribly comfortable. The most luxurious self catered accommodation I've ever stayed in. We were really lucky with the weather and spent most of the week surfing. We'll definitely be booking again.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying in Ivory. From the moment we stepped through the door and took in the breathtaking views, to the moment we left, we felt totally relaxed in our luxurious surroundings. Views aside, the apartment was really comfortable and had everything (and more) that we could possibly need. The booking process was very easy, the apartment lovely and clean and the secure parking was very good!"

“We had a lovely stay in Ivory at Carbis Bay, this is our first visit to St Ives but not to Cornwall. The apartment was very nice, clean, spacious and well equipped but the highlight was the view it was stunning.”

"My family and I spent a wonderful week in Ivory. We were very impressed with the high standard of facilities and cleanliness. We managed to fit in a lot but were so impressed with how much there was to do in Cornwall. I would say, that as a family we probably enjoyed Paradise park the most but just enjoying the amazing Cornwall beaches was great. Thank you again for a super break."

"The Wifi and full Sky package were particularly welcome, I would recommend Gwithian beach. As National Trust members, we could park free of charge in the field adjacent to the lighthouse, & if you walk the full length of the beach with the tide out, you will cover roughly 4 to 5 miles of pristine sands. "The Mermaid" in St Ives on the internet - meals were superbly cooked and presented & we had a lovely evening there."

"Very pleased with Ivory, we enjoyed walks from Lands End in both directions also Godrevy to Hells Mouth ( good cafe at the end! ) and Lizard to Kynance - all spectacular!"

"Ivory was beautiful... the views, flat and preparation. We visited Archie Browns (Vegetarian/Organic) cafe in Penzance and Truro is great for those avoiding meat or just wanting a good healthy meal. Seal beach adjacent to Godrevy Lighthouse is brilliant and relatively quiet. (£3.50) National Trust car park except out of season when it is free."

"We had a lovely holiday at Ivory, I didn't want to go home, the surroundings were of a very high, luxurious standard. The rail link is fabulous also, we left our car at home and didn't miss it a bit. Just about door to door by train. Fantastic! All the rooms were very comfortable and well-equipped and the views were out of this world. Being able to lie in bed and listen to the waves down on the beach was very calming. We enjoyed the invigorating walk along the coastal path to St Ives, we left a lot fitter than when we arrived which was good. I'm sure we undid all our hard work though by sampling the local pasties and I would recommend the Harbour Fish and Chip Shop for take-away or eating-in. Very tasty! My son enjoyed digging in the sand on every beach around Carbis Bay and St Ives. The Sloop Inn is across the road from the beach so my husband and I sat outside and sampled the local brew in the autumn sunshine while Matthew dug for victory across the road. "

"Fabulous apartment. Spectacular Views. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The beaches all around are superb, the coast path walk at Godrevey is a must, and dont forget to look over the cliff edge to see the seals. Keep an eye out for dolphins in the bay in front of the apartment, especially if the weather is forecast rough at sea. We had the most fabulous meal at the `Porthminster Cafe, a little bit on the pricey side, Becks for Fish and Chips every time"

"We had a fantastic holiday, the apartment definitely exceeded our expectations, from the cleanliness to the amazing sea views. The train was brilliant, it saved us using our car during the holiday and the children particularly enjoyed the seal island trip from St Ives. The had such a lovely relaxing week, and all the games in the apartment kept the children occupied for hours."

"I think Ivory is perfect, we had some wonderful meals out at the usual haunts - the Porthminster Beach Cafe was exceptional again with the freshest fish and great children's menu. Our favourite though was probably sitting in the conservatory or on the decking outside the Carbis bay Hotel early evening. The hotel has been done up since our last visit 2 years ago and was just a wonderful place to sit and chill. Lunch there was also very good."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ivory in Carbis Bay. The whole booking process was extremely efficient, it was also nice to have a personal contact for when we arrived. The property itself exceeded our expectations and was superbly appointed with all the luxuries you want but rarely get and was spotlessly clean and well the view was to die for, I certainly miss waking up to the sight and sound of Carbis Bay my only regret was we didn't stay for 2 weeks. This was to be a very relaxing holiday we didn't really intend to venture far so spent quite some time on the beach but of course did use the train service into St Ives which was just so handy and no stress trying to find a parking space! We drove to Padstow on the recommendation of friends and loved it and even queue'd for the obligatory Rick Steins fish and chips! We also visited Flambards and particularly enjoyed the WW11 exhibition and the Victorian Village, our 12 year old enjoyed the other attractions but I feel there would not be enough there to entertain teenagers. "Ivory was spotless as always, we're planning to book for next Easter or Whitsun, just deciding which, The new Gourmet Harbour Fish and Chip place in St Ives is excellent."

"On the administration side, it was excellent. All the communication was timely and informative, the arrangements for getting in etc, information in the apartment etc was excellent. With regard to the apartment, we found it particularly spacious, and the “sea view” stunning. The way it overlooks Carbis Bay was fantastic. The easy access to the beach, the level of cleanliness and decor in the apartment was also excellent. The week just went too fast."

"We had a really enjoyable holiday. It was so easy to book, the administration via e-mail was so easy and ran very smoothly. The accommodation surpassed our expectations. It was exceptionally clean, the bedding and towels were lovely and clean and fresh. The apartment was equipped with everything and more that we needed. I have never felt so relaxed coming back off my holiday, and I am finding it so hard to get back into the swing of things at work!! We will definitely return to Carbis Bay and hopefully the same apartment again either later this year or next year. "

"We had another great week at Ivory, each time it has looked like a show home that no one has stayed in before. Wave restaurant in St Ives which we've been to several times had great food every time and Beck's fish and chips were great too, well worth the queue."

"We had a lovely break with our teenage kids. The apartment was home from home and I really liked the nice touches like coffee machines, champagne glasses and plasmas. We were very comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was good. It was so comfortable we all had lie ins (beds and linen were great) ! Perfectly situated for St Ives, not too close to the hustle and bustle but easy to walk into."
