Living Area

The bright and airy open plan living area is dominated by the absolutely stunning seaviews across St Ives Bay to St Ives and Godrevy Lighthouse through the double French doors which open onto your private balcony. The spacious living area has two matching two seater sofas which are perfectly positioned with a coffee table to enjoy the maritime scenes or for taking advantage of the fantastic entertainment package. On a matching entertainment cabinet is a 46″ LCD TV with full Sky package including Movies and Sport, Xbox 360 with selection of games and blue ray dvds, as well as a bluetooth speak to connect to your own music selection and complimentary WiFi.

Amtico oak flooring is laid throughout the apartment with dimmable lighting, a selection of reading lamps and a floor standing lamp. Local artworks adorn the walls and a handy pair of binoculars is provided by the window for watching the comings and goings in the bay.

Dining Area

The spacious dining area forms part of the living area, the contemporary oak table and 6 comfortable white chairs is positioned to enjoy the beautiful views whilst enjoying dinner as well as being next to the archway to the kitchen allowing guests to socialise with those busy preparing in the kitchen. A matching sideboard and bookcase houses a selection of glassware and crockery, and local books and a selection of board games.

Hallway

Upon entering Ivory you a greeted into a spacious hallway with intercom, useful coat and shoe rack and a cupboard with ironing board, airer and highchair.

Apartment Ivory has a fully fitted modern kitchen with cooker, hob, microwave, built in fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, DAB radio, and lots of other mod cons including a champagne bucket and flutes. The arch between the kitchen and the dining room allows everyone to have uninterrupted views out to sea and across the bay.

Master Bedroom with Ensuite

The beautiful bright and airy master bedroom of has a kingsize bed, there is a large wardrobe, full length mirror, two oak bedside tables, matching bedside lamps and a large oak chest of drawers providing plenty of storage space. Watch the 32″ TV with freeview and Sky adapter from the comfort of your bed or simply sit back in the chair provided and enjoy the spectacular panoramic sea views. Open the doors to the Juliet balcony and enjoy listening to the waves on the shore below or step through the patio doors and enjoy breakfast ‘al fresco’ on the balcony.

The Master Bedroom benefits from a spacious, modern bathroom with Amtico-style flooring which is the perfect place to pamper with twin basins, bath and shower.

Bedroom Two

The second bedroom is fitted with twin matching beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table with lamp. A 32″ TV with freeview and blu ray player is provided, perfect for entertaining all ages. This quiet room is situated at the rear of the apartment ensuring a good night sleep.

A set of crisp white, egyptian cotton bed linen and hand towels are provided for each guest.

A hairdryer can be found in each of the bedrooms which have Amtico flooring throughout.

Family Bathroom

The family bathroom is fully tiled with a luxurious double walk in shower with additional hand held shower, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and vanity mirror with shaver point.

Master bedroom Ensuite.

The ensuite bathroom to bedroom one is beautifully spacious and offers a white suite comprising of a spa bath, Walk in shower with additional hand held shower, WC, twin wash basins, a chrome heated towel rail, two large mirrors and shaver point.

A selection of high quality towels are provided for each guest including a bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel. Complimentary White Company toiletries are also provided in each bathroom.

Step out of both the master bedroom or lounge on to your own private balcony overlooking the glorious beach accessible through beautifully maintained gardens which lead to a private path and private gate opening up directly opposite the beach, truly heaven! A Table and 4 chairs provided for guests to enjoy either Al Fresco dining or simply experiencing the Cornish sunsets. The apartment is on the first floor and so we recommend that children be accompanied at all times when on the balcony.

Carbis Beach

Carbis Beach Apartments are located in a commanding position directly above Carbis Bay beach with stunning view across The Bay to St Ives and Godrevy Lighthouse.

Each apartment is centrally heated and furnished to the highest standard to provide year round enjoyment. Some of these 5 star graded apartments are more accessible than others as they can be reached either by stairs, lift or directly from the private gated car park. Once you have unpacked, drink in the views admire the the landscaped gardens and take the private pathway down to the beach.

The two bedroomed accommodation consists of a large lounge/dining room, separate kitchen, master bedroom with en-suite, a second bedroom with twin beds and a family bathroom. The lounge and master bedrooms both have uninterrupted views of Carbis Bay beach and across to St. Ives. There is an allocated parking space behind secure gates and additional parking can be arranged on request.

  • "We had a lovely holiday at Ivory, I didn't want to go home, the surroundings were of a very high, luxurious standard. The rail link is fabulous also, we left our car at home and didn't miss it a bit. Just about door to door by train. Fantastic! All the rooms were very comfortable and well-equipped and the views were out of this world. Being able to lie in bed and listen to the waves down on the beach was very calming. We enjoyed the invigorating walk along the coastal path to St Ives, we left a lot fitter than when we arrived which was good. I'm sure we undid all our hard work though by sampling the local pasties and I would recommend the Harbour Fish and Chip Shop for take-away or eating-in. Very tasty! My son enjoyed digging in the sand on every beach around Carbis Bay and St Ives. The Sloop Inn is across the road from the beach so my husband and I sat outside and sampled the local brew in the autumn sunshine while Matthew dug for victory across the road. "

The beaches all around are superb, the coast path walk at Godrevey is a must, and dont forget to look over the cliff edge to see the seals. This was to be a very relaxing holiday we didn't really intend to venture far so spent quite some time on the beach but of course did use the train service into St Ives which was just so handy and no stress trying to find a parking space! We drove to Padstow on the recommendation of friends and loved it and even queue'd for the obligatory Rick Steins fish and chips! We also visited Flambards and particularly enjoyed the WW11 exhibition and the Victorian Village, our 12 year old enjoyed the other attractions but I feel there would not be enough there to entertain teenagers. Availability for Ivory

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.

For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
