Sapphire has a bright spacious lounge with two comfortable sofas benefitting from dimmable lighting and a selection of reading lamps. There is a 40″ LCD TV with full Sky package including Movies and Sport and CD/MP3 DAB Radio player with built in Ipod docking station. Further entertainment is provided by a DVD player with a collection of DVD’s, Netflix subscription, Amazon Firestick, Sony SRS X55 personal audio system and a selection of board games.
The lounge opens through patio doors to a decked terrace containing a rattan cube set with four chairs. There are with spectacular views over the beach from Porthminster Point to Carrack Gladden (or Hawkes Point), then across the long sandy beach of Hayle and Gwithan all the way to Godrevy Lighthouse.
There is a spacious dining area which comfortably seats 6 people at a large table and is social with an opening to the kitchen through an archway window. Perfect for lounging at the table chatting about your day, whilst dinner is prepared or for just gazing out at the beautiful blues and greens of the sea as the sunlight dances across it.
Or if you’d rather adventure out for dinner St. Ives has a wide selction of restuarants and is only a short hop on the train or a leisurely stroll along the coastpath. Why not try Seagrass or The Seafood Cafe for a local culinary treat.
On warmer days of course you may choose to dine on the terrace “al fresco” above St. Ives Bay.
Sapphire has a bright modern kitchen with a large work surfaces and masses of cupboards for all your essentials. There is a great range of appliances with large American fridge freezer, NEFF cooker, hob, microwave, an additional under counter fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, large toaster, kettle, coffee machine, handheld blender, DAB radio and everything else you would expect from anapartment of this quality.
If you are looking for inspiration there is a selection of cookery books to bring out budding chefs and for those looking for more leisurely pursuits there are even champagne glasses. This well stocked kitchen is designed to make your holiday go smoothly and there won’t be any arguments about washing up, either use the dishwasher or look out across St. Ives Bay whilst standing at the sink!
Bedroom One with En-suite
The master bedroom is located to the front of the property and is a lovely bright room, with blue and white textiles which conjure up a seaside atmosphere and perfectly compliment the beautiful views of the sea and Carbis Bay beach.There are patio doors to the decked area which bathe this room in light.
A comfortable double bed is beautifully dressed with fresh white linen and scatter cushions and bedside tables with lamps can also be found. Storage is provided within the chest of drawers and built-in cupboard and there is a Lloyd Loom style chair perfect for reading a book or just sitting back and drawing in the seaside scenes before you. Entertainment is provided with a 32” LCD Freeview television, DAB Radio and CD player. You will also discover a vanity mirror and hairdryer.
Located off the main hallway to the rear of the property, bedroom two offers a peaceful place for a good nights sleep.
New England style twin beds with matching dressing table and large mirror are complimented by a double mirrored wardrobe and bedside table , along with a bedside lamp make this a bright and comfortable room. There is a 22” LCD Freeview television, hairdryer, DAB radio and window with blinds and curtains.
The newly refurbished family bathroom is conveniently placed off the hallway, near to bedroom two. It benefits from a large glass shower enclosure with Mira Discovery shower with 4 different spray settings, wash basin with undersink storage, WC and heated towel rail, large mirror with vanity light and Amtico flooring.
The en-suite to the master bedroom is brightly lit with spot downlights and has twin wash basins with undersink storage, low pedestal WC, bidet, heated towel rail, shaver point, large mirror and a spa bath together with overhead shower and glass screen. This is the place to unwind on your holiday after a day of busy enjoyment!
The decked terrace off Sapphire is accessible from either the lounge or the master bedroom of the apartment. With a rattan table, four chairs with footstools, you can enjoy dining “al fresco” overlooking the beautiful St Ives bay. Located in a perfect position to view one of the “Most Beautiful Bays in the World”. Why not enjoy breakfast in the morning sun, or in the evening, watch the fabulous sunset over St. Ives and the Bay. The decking is partially covered allowing you to enjoy the views from outside at all times of the year.
The decked terrace is directly above the garden from which a path leads down to the beach through the well-kept gardens and private gate.
Carbis Beach Apartments are located in a commanding position directly above Carbis Bay beach with stunning view across The Bay to St Ives and Godrevy Lighthouse.
Each apartment is centrally heated and furnished to the highest standard to provide year round enjoyment. Some of these 5 star graded apartments are more accessible than others as they can be reached either by stairs, lift or directly from the private gated car park. Once you have unpacked, drink in the views admire the the landscaped gardens and take the private pathway down to the beach.
The two bedroomed accommodation consists of a large lounge/dining room, separate kitchen, master bedroom with en-suite, a second bedroom with twin beds and a family bathroom. The lounge and master bedrooms both have uninterrupted views of Carbis Bay beach and across to St. Ives. There is an allocated parking space behind secure gates and additional parking can be arranged on request.

"Sapphire was fantastic. The standard is superb. We recommend The Balcony Bar in St Ives for delicious cheap burgers and The Firehouse in St Ives for their fish and chips. We loved Porthcurno and The Minnack and the Minnack Cafe was fab with unrivalled views. The Porthcurno telegraph museum was great. A visit to Padstow is a must. Porthleven was also a lovely afternoon out. Godrevy with the seals and cafe are also fantastic. The food there is amazing."

We had a fabulous time and all enjoyed our stay. This is probably the 4th or 5th time that we have stayed , we walked into st Ives a few times and ate in a few favorite restaurants and also in the Italian at the top of the road – La Casita.The weather was great and we were as always impressed with the apartment but my son more so as we had Sky sports which enabled us to watch the football and then movies so a great addition!!
The apartment was splendid - very spacious and very enjoyable to be staying in. It was almost like a home from home but with a fabulous sea view! The quality of the apartment was outstanding, cleanliness was second to none. We used many of the local restaurants and at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant in Padstow were good - the latter being fabulous! Being able to cook ourselves was a bonus too for the evenings when we just wanted to relax, listening to the rolling tide on the beach below. We did the coastal walk from Carbis to St Ives and back and of course up and down the beach at Carbis Bay collecting shells and photographing the patterns made on the sand by the tides. Quite inspirational. We spotted the seal also in the bay but no dolphins despite searching avidly for them throughout each day. As always, upon leaving the area, I personally was sad to have to leave - having had such a relaxing and rejuvenating time there.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
