"My sister and I had a fabulous time in the Sapphire apartment this September. It was all we could have wanted, ideal base for going places, or for chilling out. Train to St Ives brilliant. Just in process of booking for next year."
“We had a fabulous family holiday in Carbis Bay. The apartment was first class. It had everything we needed and more. The views are spectacular.”
"We had a fabulous week in Sapphire. It's a beautiful apartment (has everything you need and is equipped to a very high standard) with that stunning view over the beach - we just couldn't stop staring at the sea!! We kept ourselves busy with golf (2 days) and walking (did the coastal path to Zennor then back on the inland route which was tough but enjoyable). Ate out a couple of nights and very much enjoyed the Porthminster Beach Cafe which we would highly recommend although I'm sure plenty of others do also!"
"We enjoyed our stay in Sapphire. The apartment lived up to the five star rating being extremely clean and comfortable. Since the sun shone all week and we ambled into St Ives along the coastal path returning by train. Hope to retun soon"
"We certainly enjoyed our stay in Sapphire, the accommodation was perfect, you have thought of everything. The cleanliness was excellent and all administration was also good. We ate some lovely meals whilst on holiday, our favourites were: Porthminster Beach Cafe, Porthmeor Beach Cafe (Lunch and a breakfast on our last morning), The Victoria Inn, Perranuthnoe"
"The beautiful accommodation saved the holiday for us as on the exceptionally wet days we could still sit out on the lovely terrace and watch the waves breaking on the shore. I also liked the decor in the apartment. We enjoyed eating out at the Porthminster Cafe, the Alba, Waves and we enjoyed lunches in the restaurant opposite the Tate Modern looking down on Porthmeor beach. Enjoyable days out were spent at the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and St. Michael's Mount. The boat trips and the train were also excellent."
"We had a lovely time while away and found Sapphire to be very clean comfortable and well equipped. We loved the view and the sound of the waves on the beach. We'd happily recommend it to friends. We appreciated the maps in the apartment and did some coastal walks including Godrevy to Portreath (bus back to Godrevy), the Fal estuary and a round walk from Zennor towards St Ives then coming back over the fields, which were all great."
"Sapphire was fantastic. The standard is superb. We recommend The Balcony Bar in St Ives for delicious cheap burgers and The Firehouse in St Ives for their fish and chips. We loved Porthcurno and The Minnack and the Minnack Cafe was fab with unrivalled views. The Porthcurno telegraph museum was great. A visit to Padstow is a must. Porthleven was also a lovely afternoon out. Godrevy with the seals and cafe are also fantastic. The food there is amazing."
"Sapphire was lovely, clean and had everything you would need - excellent, will recommend to friends and hope to come again. Recommend Onshore restaurant St Ives, Porthminster cafe and Paradise park for kids."
"Sapphire was very lovely and has a great sea view. The furnishings was great, the kitchen was full of equipment, we had a lovely holiday, thanks"

"Just to say we had a great weeks holiday in the Sapphire (again) the weather was nice and sunny!! The apartment was as usual superb. Went to see the Eden Project after not going for nine years and thought it was well worth the visit."
T. & J. Michael
"We had a lovely time in Sapphire last week. It's about our 11th visit to the apartments and they never disappoint. First time in Sapphire and it was beautitful. We particularly loved the walk to Gwithian and to Godrevy Lighthouse - really lovely and we saw the seals on the beach which was brilliant. We always enjoy meals at the Kings Arms at Paul near Newlyn and The Balnoon at St Ives."
"I cannot say enough how wonderful our stay in Sapphire was! From the minute we arrived and were warmly welcomed by the housekeeper, and then completely taken aback by the breathtaking view as we entered the apartment. The apartment was so luxurious in every way. For me the best thing was lying in bed at night listening to the crashing waves and waking to the magnificent panoramic view of the sea and St Ives. We will most definitely be back!"
"We had a very good couple of days - Sapphire was superb with everything you could want for a comfortable stay, your cleaning staff were brilliant and a big thank you to them - Having grown up in the area, it would take me all week to tell you about walks, restaurants and attractions !!"
J. & B. Oldrey
"We enjoyed our holiday in Sapphire. The standard of accommodation and cleanliness was second to none. Everything was what you would expect in a 5* holiday apartment. The dolphins made an appearance a couple of times also the sun shone most days to make the holiday complete".
"We had a fantastic time, everything about Sapphire was top notch – it was much bigger than it looked on the internet, the place was spotless and extremely well equipped. I will tell all my friends how great it is and we will almost definitely be back another year."
"Everything was excellent as always, thank you. We had another lovely holiday in Carbis Bay. Very happy with all aspects of the service provided, I am sure we will return again very soon."
"Sapphire was outstanding and superseded our expectations. We will definitely be going back. It was the best equipped apartment we have ever rented and it was a delight to eat in as well as out. We enjoyed going up the lighthouse at The Lizard and Geevor mines was a great day out. We also loved Godrevy point and saw lots of seals and pups on a secluded beach. The café at Godrevy was also a delight and the beaches around there amazing."
We had a fabulous time and all enjoyed our stay. This is probably the 4th or 5th time that we have stayed , we walked into st Ives a few times and ate in a few favorite restaurants and also in the Italian at the top of the road – La Casita. The weather was great and we were as always impressed with the apartment but my son more so as we had Sky sports which enabled us to watch the football and then movies so a great addition!!
The apartment was splendid - very spacious and very enjoyable to be staying in. It was almost like a home from home but with a fabulous sea view! The quality of the apartment was outstanding, cleanliness was second to none. We used many of the local restaurants and at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant in Padstow were good - the latter being fabulous! Being able to cook ourselves was a bonus too for the evenings when we just wanted to relax, listening to the rolling tide on the beach below. We did the coastal walk from Carbis to St Ives and back and of course up and down the beach at Carbis Bay collecting shells and photographing the patterns made on the sand by the tides. Quite inspirational. We spotted the seal also in the bay but no dolphins despite searching avidly for them throughout each day. As always, upon leaving the area, I personally was sad to have to leave - having had such a relaxing and rejuvenating time there.
"We had a brilliant holiday and the weather was really good (not expecting that) - but what really made the holiday special was the apartment - it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable - really well laid out and view spectacular."
"We had a wonderful holiday in Carbis Bay and the weather was kind for the time of year! The apartment was first class in every way. We were impressed by the cleanliness, particularly the kitchen appliances, cupboards, pans and utensils. The standard of equipment, linen and furnishings was very good. The location was all we hoped for from the descriptions you gave and the view from the patio was magnificent. All in all it was an excellent base for a holiday."
"As it was our first time to Cornwall, I was pleased that my lengthy research paid off. Having a 4 & 7 year old, we wanted a beach within walking distance, a view that we could sit out and enjoy of an evening when they were in bed and a high standard of accommodation. I really don't think we could have chosen better for our needs. The weather wasn't always fantastic so it was great that there was plenty to keep the kids occupied in the way of games/dvd's etc."
"The accommodation was absolutely fantastic. The views from the decking were wonderful and I'm still seeing that sun rise over the horizon. It is the perfect location with that wonderful little train so close by. The apartment was fitted out to perfection, couldn't think of a single thing we needed that you didn't provide..... apart from a second week!"
Another fabulous break in Carbis Bay - It gets more and more difficult to pack up & leave each time! Sapphire is a beautiful apartment and just about a perfect base for visiting this amazing part of the world. Can't imagine we will ever tire of this part of Cornwall.
Couldn't have enjoyed the stay at 'Sapphire' any more! We love this location for its views, the spacious, beautiful and well equipped apartment and the stroll to the beach. Mixed weather this year but lots to do. Saw a seal one evening in the bay. Kayaks on the bay were fabulous for father and daughter. Liked the carvery at The Badger Inn. Best cream teas was at the 'The Tearoom' on St Ives harbor - Fabulous cafe, enjoyed lands end with our very young family as theirs lots aimed at them, Paradise park also great. I'm sure we will be back to Carbis Beach for a 3rd stay! Thank you so much for the arrival gifts too.
Lovely to be back in Sapphire, we have had a lovely week, two days spent at the C Spa, wonderful lava shell treatment. The rest of the time exploring Cornwall, the minach theatr3e is definitely worth a visit and it was a thrill to see all the seals at Mullion cove just around the corner from Godrevy lighthouse, the Rockpool cafe does a lovely lunch whih is close by. See you soon Carbis Bay!
We braved the snow to come down to St Ives on Saturday and our reward - a wonderful sta, great walking on the coastal bath and beaches. Tate in St Ives is so much better, with brilliant exhibitions.
