Upon entering Ocean Cove you are greeted into a spacious hallway and the jaw dropping view of the ocean and Carbis Bay through the feature porthole window which fills the hallway with natural light. The hallway is carpeted throughout, as are all the living areas and bedrooms. The hallway cupboard houses an ironing board, iron, etc and provides an area to store your shoes and coats. There is a sideboard under the stairs where you will find a selection of board games, books and local guides. A cloakroom with WC and wash basin can be found next to bedroom three.
The open plan living and dining area is a beautiful bright and airy room with magnificent panoramic views across Carbis Bay Beach and St Ives Bay. Floor to ceiling patio doors open out onto a small balcony, perfect for allowing the fresh salty sea air to flow in whilst you are sat on the love chair which is impeccably positioned for watching the comings and goings in the bay. This is an ideal place to spot seals and dolphins that visit the bay and a quality pair of binoculars are provided for you to get a closer view. Sit back on the comfortable four-seater sofa and take in the fabulous views through the large picture window or alternatively, why not take advantage of the amazing entertainment package consisting of a 37” Samsung LCD television with full Sky package including Movies and Sport, Playstation 3 with a selection of games, DVDs and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The dining area is positioned perfectly for enjoying the ocean views through the patio doors and for socialising with those in the kitchen through the large serving hatch – which also provides an ocean view for the chef! The kitchen at Ocean Cove is located off the entrance hallway next to the open plan living area. A large service hatch allows you to enjoy the fabulous ocean views whilst cooking and to socialise with those in the living area. There is also direct access onto the large rear suntrap terrace, perfect for alfresco dining.

The master bedroom is located upstairs and boasts an en-suite shower room and outstanding ocean views through the floor to ceiling sliding patio doors, which lead out onto the large ocean facing terrace. A glass and chrome balustrade allows the view to be enjoyed from the comfort of the master bed. A bistro table with two chairs are provided along with an external light, perfect for enjoying sundowner cocktails.
Rear Suntrap Terrace
The rear terrace is located off bedroom three and is sheltered from any sea breezes, making it the perfect spot for enjoying an afternoon read or alfresco dining. The terrace comprises of a table and six chairs. There is also a retractable washing line.
Dining Area Balcony
A small balcony can be accessed via the sliding patio doors in the dining area, perfect for letting the balmy sea air flow into the property or for watching the sunrise in the morning.
The communal gardens of Carrack Gladden can be accessed to the side of the development and provide access onto Beach Road.

"Regarding our holiday at Ocean Cove, we were very pleased with the high standard of cleanliness of the accommodation, all the little extras that were there, Sky package & HD, games,DVDs, Beach equipment - the view is stunning!! I could sit at the window all day & watch the changing colour of the sea & catching glimpses of sammy the seal, we have seen Dolphins from there before. Becks fish & Chip restaurant & takeaway still excellent value as is the Union & Castle pubs in St Ives. Perhaps if visitors are going into St Ives by train a useful tip if there are 4 travelling together is to get a 1 stop group ticket for £4 return instead of £2 each, although the sign on Carbis station does not tell you this! if there is no one in the ticket office, catch the train to St Ives & buy the tickets there!"
"Just wanted to make contact to say that it has been a few weeks since we returned from our holiday and the memories will stay with us for a long time. The amazing views of the bay were fantastic and as described. I have shown photographs to friends and they find it difficult to believe that this is part of the English Coast line. The apartment felt more like a home than holiday rentals we have used in the past and was exceptionally well appointed. The description on the web site is not over exaggerated. There was something to cater for all ages and It was particularly good to have all the things required for the beach. The proximity of the railway station meant we were able to plan days out without having to take the car and we enjoyed the local fish and chip shop which provided excellent quality at a good price.I can honestly say that we are planning to return in the near future to enjoy more of the delights that Cornwall and Ocean Cove has to offer."

For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
