"Thank you for your message, we really enjoyed our holiday in Carbis Bay again – this was in fact our fourth holiday there and our third stay in ‘Capstan’. We love the location and the fact that there is the beautiful beach just down the road. The train link into St Ives is a great and easy way of getting there and back and there are many nice places to eat and good shops to look around whilst there. We are already talking about our holiday there next year."

“We had a very lovely stay at Capstan. The apartment was very comfortable and clean and had everything that we could possibly need. This was the second time we had booked an apartment through Carbis Bay Holidays and both times the process has been simple and efficient. Everything was just perfect. Thank you. We look forward to our next visit to Cornwall. “
"We had a very enjoyable stay at Capstan which was very clean and comfortable. We did enjoy visiting the Minack Theatre with it's dramatic views, the Roskilly Ice Cream Farm where the food in the restaurant was a tasty as the ice cream, St Michael's Mount despite getting our feet wet on the causeway and the spectacular scenery at Kynance Cove."
"The holiday at Capstan was brilliant as expected, I love the fact we don't have to take extras with us as you provide absolutely everything we need. Our favourite pub is The Badger."
"All was fine in our apartment, we had a fantastic meal at the Porthminster beach cafe and would suggest that no holiday in St Ives is complete without sampling their desserts. We also had a guided tour of the Leach pottery as part of the arts festival and this was very interesting. The beach at Godrevy Lighthouse was wonderful too, unspoilt, beautiful and far from the crowds."
"We enjoyed our stay at Capstan very much and found it clean and comfortable. Lovely views and handy for the beach, we enjoyed the cliff walk into St Ives."
"We had a wonderful time! everything in the apartment was such lovely quality the choice of childrens books and games was great especially the book on identifying beach 'creatures'. We ate out quite a lot 'The Seafood cafe' in St Ives was our favourite and early evening on Porthminster beach with a glass of wine whilst the children played went down well too! Activity wise we rode quite a bit at Wheal Buller which I would highly recommend and we went into St Ives (either by foot or on the train) most days because the apartment was so well equipped we didn't feel the need to go out for the sake of going out. "
"We just wanted to say what a wonderful time we had in the Capstan, the apartment was very clean and provided everything we could need and more. We loved the area and visited lots of beautiful places - St Ives, Port Isaac and St Michaels Mount were just a few of our favourites. We also found a fantastic Deli/Cafe in Marazion called Delicious which we would highly recommend. Very tasty food, excellent coffee and great prices."
"This was the second year that we've stayed in the Compass Point complex, we are pleased to say that the high standard set last year was repeated and we can't think of anything that would have improved our stay. We managed a couple of walks which were in your booklet "circular walks" which were well worth the effort - particularly the Godrevy one where you can see the basking seals this time of year. We also did a coastal walk to the Badger at Lelant for a pub lunch and then returned by train. We also found it a good base to see the surrounding area. Visiting the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno one day and Perranporth another. The Beach Restaurant in St Ives was in our opinion, the pick of the restaurants we visited.. See you next year!"

"We thought that Capstan is very well appointed and we were very comfortable. The Atlantic Waves Restaurant is very good, and the Alfresco Cafe bar in St Ives is ideal for a light lunch. All in all a very nice break."
"We thought Capstan was great and we had a really good break. The apartment had everything we needed, and the views and proximity to Carbis Bay were perfect."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Carbis Bay. Capstan was beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. Carbis Bay itself is one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in. The beach is perfect for families and we enjoyed using the little path down the cliffs. The coastal path is so easy to access and provided interesting walks – we especially enjoyed finding the artist’s studio on the path towards Hayle. There’s a reasonable selection of eating places within easy walking distance. What more could you wish for?"
"We really enjoyed staying at Captson, we really appreciated coming 'home' to somewhere nice, warm and welcoming. We thought the standard of the property was very good, cleanliness very high. My partner loved the internet access, my daughter loved the DVD player, and I particularly enjoyed the en-suite shower - it was fantastic!"
"Everything about Capstan was fabulous: wonderful view, fantastic location and superbly kitted out. Our kids particularly enjoyed the tvs and the playstation when the weather was not so great. It was also very very clean and comfortable. We have already recommended the apartment to several of our friends."
"The Capstan apartment was excellent and we were very pleased with it. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. As someone who runs my own business and therefore sadly still has to 'keep in touch' whilst I'm away, the wi-fi internet access was a real benefit."
