Dune Drifter has a bright spacious lounge which has been stylishly refurbished in 2016 in a contemporary coastal theme. A large bay window with access onto the patio floods the room with light and frames the spectacular views across St Ives Bay stretching from St Ives round to Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond. There are two comfortable sofas giving you the perfect spot to relax in front of the entertainment suite with a 40″ Sony TV, Sky including Movies and Sport, a Panasonic Bluetooth Soundbar, free wifi internet access, a Wii console and a selection of games, along with a Blu-Ray/DVD & a collection of dvds there is plenty to keep you entertained should you tire of the views. The owners have provided a selection beautiful original artwork, local information and books for enjoyment. Leading from the living area is a private terrace. Sit back and relax on the comfortable chairs and soak up the Cornish sunshine or enjoy an alfresco drink and breathe in the briny Cornish air.
The dining room has an Oak table with four dining chairs and a matching Oak sideboard allowing you to enjoy gourmet fare at home or venture out to one of the quality restaurants nearby. A Sony Bluetooth speaker is provided for you to choose from your own music library and really set the mood for your holiday.
Dune Drifter has a spacious hallway that allows access to all the other areas of this delightful apartment. There is a secure entry system, a useful cupboard for hanging coats and walking shoes or wellies after an energetic day exploring the beautiful beach and coastline on your doorstep.
Amtico silver birch flooring is laid through out the apartment with fully fitted wool carpets within the bedrooms.
The modern fitted kitchen at Dune Drifter is located at the rear of the property with views over a courtyard. There are NEFF integrated appliances, including an electric circotherm cooker, gas hob, large fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and full sized dishwasher. A DeLonghi coffee machine, toaster and kettle are provided along with a microwave as well as everything else you would expect from an apartment of this quality.
A separate utility cupboard can also be found within the hallway, where the iron and ironing board are stored.
Bedroom One with En-suite
The Master bedroom at Dune Drifter benefits from the spectacular views of St Ives Bay, the kingsize bed is luxuriously dressed in egyptian linen with an oversized duvet making this room a pleasure to wake up in the morning, raise the blinds and gaze across Carbis Bay beach to St Ives. The fully carpeted master bedroom has a wardrobe with hanging space and drawers along with matching bedside table providing plenty of storage space. A stylish Kartell chair accompanies the dressing table and mirror. You can watch television on the 40” Samsung LED HD Smart TV television from the comfort of your king size bed.
The second bedroom of Dune Drifter is fitted with matching twin beds which are beautifully dressed with crisp with Egyptian cotton bedlinen, a stylish rail provides ample hanging space accompanied by a a chest of drawers, two bedside tables with lamps and a designer Kartell chair completes the room for your comfort. A 19″ TV and DVD player provides entertainment for all ages. The matching twin divan beds can be arranged as a super-king (6ft) zip and link bed upon request.
All bed linen and towels (hand towel, bath towel and bath sheet per person) plus a hairdryer are provided for guest use.
The main family bathroom of Dune Drifter has a wash basin, WC, enclosed waterfall shower, heated towel rail and shaving point. A perfect place to refresh after a hard day on the beach.
The en-suite to the master bedroom of Dune drifter has an enclosed shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.
High quality fluffy bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided for each guest, along with complimentary White Company toiletries in each bathroom.
The private terrace is accessible from Dune Drifters Lounge. Enjoy an al fresco meal gazing at the fabulous views across Carbis Bay to St. Ives. A table and 4 chairs are provided for your comfort.
There is a communal terrace for guests’ situated at the front of the apartments for guests use should you wish to enjoy the views from a different spot.

Compass Point is just three minutes walk away from the spectacular golden beach at Carbis Bay. Easy access is also available to Carbis Bay railway station where the single-track railway follows a dramatic path along the coast, taking you into St Ives in less than five minutes.
Allocated parking is provided for each apartment either as a garage or parking space. A visitor space is provided on a first come first served basis. Guests at Compass Point can take advantage of the communal terrace with commanding views across St Ives Bay.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
