Lounge

Seashells has a spacious lounge with comfortable two and three seater settees, 32″ Freeview TV with DVD, Playstation 2 with a selection of games and a CD/MP3/radio Hi-fi system. The lounge opens to Seashells’s terrace patio with picnic table and chairs. Enjoy the spectacular views across Carbis Bay to St Ives in one direction and to Godrevy Lighthouse in the other.

There is a “Welcome Guide” packed with information about Carbis Bay and the varied attractions of St Ives and the surrounding area. You will also find O.S. maps, walks, pub and restaurant guides, as well as a selection of games, books, and DVDs.

Dining Room

Seashells is furnished in luxurious style with the spacious separate dining room comfortably seating four people, allowing you to relax and enjoy your meals in comfort.

You are rather spoilt for choice with the number of quality restaurants nearby, some do offer a takeaway service alternatively, you can prepare your own meal at home and enjoy comfort of your apartment. On warmer days of course you may choose to dine “al fresco” on the terrace.

Kitchen

Seashells has a fully fitted modern kitchen with NEFF cooker, hob, built in fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, toaster, kettle, microwave, and everything else you would expect from an apartment of this quality. There won’t be any arguments in this kitchen about washing up as you just load up the dishwasher, as there is ample cutlery and crockery.

Bedroom One with En-suite

The master bedroom of Seashells has a king size bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinets and a chest of drawers so you’ll have plenty of storage space. You have the same spectacular views as the lounge – wake up in the morning and throw the curtains open and enjoy the view across Carbis Bay to St. Ives.

Bedroom Two

The second bedroom of Seashells is fitted with twin beds, wardrobes and a chest of drawers. This quiet room will ensure that you sleep well after those long walks on the beach and cliffs.

Bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person.

Bathroom One

The main bathroom of Seashells has a wash basin, WC, bath and overhead shower. There is a heated towel rail and modern bathroom fittings.

Bathroom Two

The en-suite to the master bedroom of Seashells has a wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and shower. A bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person.

Your own terrace is accessible from Seashells lounge. Here you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast, lunch or dinner whilst enjoying those fabulous views across Carbis Bay to St. Ives. St. Ives Bay is one of the few to be given the award “Most Beautiful Bays in the World” – it is well deserved. To the front of Seashells, there is also a delightful communal terrace area which provides the opportunity to share your travel experiences with other guests’, enjoy the stunning panoramic views, sunbathe or just relax.

To the rear of the apartment is a small private patio area with bistro table and chair to enjoy the sun in the early afternoon.

Compass Point is just three minutes walk away from the spectacular golden beach at Carbis Bay. Easy access is also available to Carbis Bay railway station where the single-track railway follows a dramatic path along the coast, taking you into St Ives in less than five minutes.

Allocated parking is provided for each apartment either as a garage or parking space. A visitor space is provided on a first come first served basis. Guests at Compass Point can take advantage of the communal terrace with commanding views across St Ives Bay.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.

For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
