The open plan living area is incredibly bright, airy and spacious and has the most fabulous wall of windows with a sliding patio door, providing access out onto the full width balcony. Harbour View is dominated by fantastic sea views encompassing Carbis Bay beach, St Ives and Godrevy Lighthouse. Just sink into either of the large sofas and be mesmerised by the ever changing colours of the seascape. Alternatively why not enjoy the entertainment system provided, which includes a 32” JVC LED flatscreen TV with Freeview, Sony DVD player and complimentary Wi-Fi. Cream and blue striped curtains frame the windows should the views prove to be too much of a distraction!
An informative welcome manual will give you all the information you need about the apartment and a good selection of books, maps and pamphlets will give you all the information you need about the locality including art galleries, gardens and walks.
The dining area is perfectly positioned alongside the kitchen, guests can keep the chef happy whilst taking in the stunning views through the window and doors, there is an oak table with four matching oak dining chairs. Should you decide to venture out for dinner Carbis Bay, St Ives and the surrounding area has a wide choice of quality restaurants, modern and traditional pubs as well as a number of places to obtain take-away food.
The bright and spacious hallway welcomes you into the apartment and has a handy utility cupboard which houses the iron, ironing board, airer and hoover and a perfect place for hanging your coat.
Sociable and open plan to the living area, it is a pleasure to cook here, whilst watching the martime scenes pass by. This beautiful modern kitchen has a range of cream high gloss cupboards with Corian worksurfaces and intregrated appliances, there is a large fridge with icebox, a microwave, a four ring ceramic halogen hob with extractor above, an oven with grill, a dishwasher and washer/dryer. In addition guests will find Delonghi toaster, kettle and filter coffee machine and all the utensils, pots and pans they could possibly need to prepare a meal in this home from home.
The spacious master bedroom is decorated with calming neutral tones and has a king size bed with 1000 pocket sprung sleepmaster mattress to gently ease you into a peaceful slumber.
Oak furniture with matching bedside tables with reading lamps, a chest of drawers, double wardrobe and long mirror provides both hanging and shelf storage. Lined curtains can be found at the windows and a 22” Samsung LCD TV with Freeview and hairdryer are all provided for your use.
The bathroom is spacious and offers a white suite comprising of a bath, shower with large shower head, a Laufen w.c. and wash basin with storage underneath. It has mosaic tiles throughout and a chrome heated towel rail, large mirror and shaver point are provided.
A selection of high quality towels comprising of bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person. Complimentary White Company toiletries are also provided.
Seaward Facing Balcony
The spacious living area and kitchen is fronted by a balcony with one of the best views of Carbis Bay beach and St Ives Bay. A rattan table with four matching chairs are provided for guests to enjoy alfresco dining or to just relax and listen to the sound of the surf.
South Facing Terrace
The south facing sun terrace is located to the rear of the property and is a fantastic little sun trap, perfect for soaking up the Cornish rays.
The beautiful communal gardens of Gwel Marten, which are mainly lawned, are available for guests to use and benefit from stunning views and access to the South West Coastal Path and the beach. The stroll around the headland to Porthkidney Sands is a must as is the 20 minute coastal walk to St Ives.
Gwel Marten Apartments occupy a superb position on Headland Road at Carbis Bay. With dramatic views along Carbis Bay beach across to St Ives and Godrevy Lighthouse in the other direction.
The apartments are a short walk away from the Blue Flag Carbis Bay Beach and also convenient for the short train ride into St Ives renowned for its necklace of 5 superb beaches. Also the apartments are adjacent to the South West Coast Path, you can enjoy the stunning scenery along the cliff walk to St Ives or to Lelant and Hayle. A convenient and comfortable base to explore the many delights of Cornwall.
These 4 star and 5 star apartments are furnished and fitted to a high standard having shared use of the terraced gardens and lawn to the front of the development and enjoying spectacular views of St Ives Bay. Allocated parking is provided for guests.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
