“We had a great time at H2OH! , I don't think we wanted for anything, the welcome refreshments were great as well, booking procedure, arrival/departure, information in the house, no issues with anything. As I wrote in the guest book, it didn't take us long to start saying “when we get home” where home meant H2HO rather than our own homes!
It was a shame I had to go back to work on the Monday. We wouldn't have any hesitation recommending this property to anyone.”
"We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day break at h2oh in Carbis Bay.The property was perfect for us, very clean and complete with all the amenities we would want. What was particularly nice was the selection of toys available; our 2 year old grandson really loved the pirate ship. The flowers and cream tea were also a nice touch. We did enjoy the coastal path walk to Lelant after which we caught the train back, which was nice."
"We have had a fantastic holiday this year.We thought H2oh! was a really great house to stay in and would definitely stay there again. It had everything we needed. This year we didn’t do much travelling as the weather was lovely ,so just stayed on Carbis beach and St Ives beaches. We hired a beach hut on Carbis beach for £50 for the full week which we thought was really good value for money.Saves carting everything back up the steep paths to the house! We went out for tea a few times. Porthminster beach cafe where we have been to a few times before. Was really nice. Blas burger where we all had a different kind of burger. They were fantastic and for our special meal out we went to The Loft in St Ives which was amazing and really good value for money. We also ate at the Shack on Carbis beach which was really nice. The Shack is a great addition to the beach and also with the live entertainment at night."
"As usual we were delighted with the lovely H2Oh house. Administration and the warm welcome was good. Enjoyed eating at Ocean Grill in St.Ives and the Beach café at Sennen. Also Sunset Surf at Gwithian. Love Praa sands beach and Trebah Gardens and Lost Gardens of Heligan. Cannot wait to come back next year!"
"Our stay at H2oh! was as comfortable and as enjoyable as ever. This was our fourth visit to the property, and it has become almost a home away from home for us. The house was beautifully prepared, very clean and Carbis Bay Holidays have, as usual, been a pleasure to deal with. One additional restaurant in St Ives that we discovered this year, and thoroughly enjoyed, was The Loft, which we visited several times. Our favourite attraction outside of St Ives is Trengwainton gardens, which are always worth a visit, and they have an excellent cafe there, too. The best comment we can make about H2oh! is that we will almost certainly want to return next year."
"H2OH was comfortable, clean, convenient, perfectly commendable in all respects. The views from the lounge and study are spectacular."
"We had a lovely break at H20 in early January the property again met all our needs and expectations with lovely homely touches."
"We had a brilliant holiday, H2OH was a very comfortable place to stay. The house was very clean and tidy for our arrival and more than lived up to your description and pictures. The outstanding event of the holiday was our visit to the Minack Theatre to see a production of “39 Steps”. This is an experience not to be missed."
"H20H is a beautiful property the position overlooking the sweeping Carbis bay is amazing, as you walk up to the lounge in the morning the views are just to die for, even in the winter the views were stunning. We found the property lovely & spacious & very safe for our little boy to enjoy, was equipped with all that you need, the bedrooms, bathrooms & living areas all have the WOW factor a lovely place to spend time in away from home. The welcome info folder was fantastic for people that are new to the area was really impressed. We also enjoyed lovely walks down into St Ives and the Mexican in town is amazing, I think you had this one in your welcome book 'The Mex'. Also visiting St Ives & Carbis Bay in the winter was so refreshing and so quiet compared to the summer months we will be back again."
"We especially enjoyed the location-just a few minutes from Carbis Bay, Tesco etc and close enough for day trips to the Animal Park in Hayle. Needless to say we had a few trips to St Ives and enjoyed looking at all the unique shops & galleries. Great places to eat were the Hub (best fish & chips we've had in a long time.)and we loved the burgers at Carbis Bay hotel! H2oH was perfect for young children and our baby had lots of fun crawling around the spacious lounge/kitchen area. Our pre-schooler also enjoyed your collections of toys as well as the "privacy" of the playroom.Everything was to a very high standard. I strongly recommend H2oH for families with children."
"We had a lovely holiday and said as much in your visitor book, the administration, standard of accommodation and cleanliness of the property were all first class. The curry house in St. Ives is excellent, we enjoyed the choice at the Gourmet fish 'n' chip shop. We thought the Eden Project was a good day out, and loved walking on Carbis Bay and around St. Ives. Also loved the steam train."
"Well where do i start.... We tend to go away twice a year and that consits of going abroad and staying in some stunning exotic locations. This was our first holiday within the UK as we couldnt be bothered to fly anywhere and i can honestly say that H2oh was one one of the best places we have ever stayed. The house was amazing loved everything about it! Everything worked, the bath was gorgeous, fresh towels in every room, lovely lighting, beautiful kitchen and front room, stunning views, Ps3, wifi and bt vision which suited our needs perfectly as we just wanted to chill. The blue folder was also very handy and gave us the heads up about the area, and what an amazing area it is! We are from the south east and to go to an area like carbis bay within england was an absolute dream."
"We had a lovely time staying in H2Oh, the standard and cleanliness of the property was excellent and there was a wealth of information on the local area in the guest information folder. Our favourite meal was at the Porthgwidden Beach Cafe."
"H2OH was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The book of information on how everything worked was excellent and very easy to understand which is wonderful when you are technologically challenged! The information provided on all the amenities and tourist information was also very helpful. We happened upon the Halestown Inn at Halestown one day looking for another way back to Carbis Bay rather than driving through St Ives. It promotes itself as "The Pie Pub" and would say they do serve up some delicious varieties of pies along with decent real ales."

"H20H - lovely property, well furnished, comfortable, well equipped and fabulous views"
"H2OH is a marvellous, luxurious house to stay in. We couldnt praise it highly enough. The house is spacious, extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and with wonderful views of the sea and beaches. We particularly enjoyed eating at The Ocean Grill in St.Ives Harbour where the food was fresh local produce, good service and wonderful views of the Harbour. We particularly liked the locally produced Polgoon sparkling elderflower wine and apple juice!"
"H2OH - an amazing place to spend a week or many more if we had the time. Views of the very highest order, In every respect it is a great place for a decent sized family (or maybe even two small ones) with huge amounts of room. Porthminster Cafe is probably the leading light and every bit as good as its numerous awards suggest, birthday treats don't come much better. On the other side of town by the Tate, Porthmeor Beach Cafe is also fantastic for drinks or food any time of day. Blas Burgerworks really never lets the side down; great atmosphere, great music, great ethical policies and the best burgers anywhere."
"The administration, standard of accommodation and cleanliness of the property were excellent. We have been coming to Carbis Bay every year and sometimes twice a year for 17 years staying at the same place but decided this year to try somewhere different. We could not believe how lovely it was and will hopefully return next year."
"H20H was great. Very clean, modern, with perfect picture windows. Walk to Godrevy Lighthouse around bay is good fun and bracing for you and the kids. Massive beach with no-one on it apart from surfers. Went further along coast to Porthtowan and cove before. Best walk by far is the simplest. Coastal walk round the headland from Carbis Bay to St Ives. The view if the sun is shining as you round the headland and see St Ives is perfect, followed by a coffee on the beach at Portminster as the kids play football . Perfection all round."
"Thanks for the opportunity to stay in that gorgeous house! We all really enjoyed it!"
"We really enjoyed our holiday, and the accommodation was exceptional. Excellent for cleanliness, facilities etc. I am afraid we did not do anything strenuous like walks, we just enjoyed Carbis Bay, St Ives etc."
"The house was lovely, so well equipped bright and airy. Everything was great - amazing place to stay."
