Innisfree is a beautiful family friendly holiday home, ideally situated for fun packed days out to the golden sands of Carbis Bay beach or access to the South West Coastal Path. It is bright and airy with a fantastic open plan living area, perfect for a Cornish family holiday to St Ives. The property offers outstanding sea views from most rooms, reaching right across the bay from Porthminster Point to the Godrevy Lighthouse. Children can roam free in the secure rear garden whilst the adults sit back and relax on the magnificent terraced patio area.
As you enter Innisfree you are greeted into a bright entrance hallway, with hardwood flooring and a carpeted, wooden staircase leading up to the first floor. Through the glazed living room door, you can take a sneak peak at the outstanding sea views that this property has to offer.
Located on the ground floor, the open plan living area is a wonderful space for all the family to gather. The tasteful neutral décor makes this a warm and inviting room, with double patio doors opening out onto the terraced patio, extending the living area out into the Cornish fresh air. Colonial style, white wash, wooden concertina shutters add to the New England feel that this property exudes. Two comfortable, large sofas are ideally positioned to take in the views down to Porthminster Point, or for watching the 38” LCD Freeview television with BT Vision. A DVD player with selection of DVDs, complimentary Wi-Fi, iPod dock, maps, games and books have all been provided for your personal entertainment. There are two oak coffee tables, along with a reading lamp, just perfect for snuggling up and reading a good holiday book. Original art adorns the walls of Innisfree, injecting colour into the airy spaces.
The dining area sits conveniently between the kitchen and lounge, making it a great spot to socialise with family in either area. A solid oak table and bench seating for up to six guests is provided, with travertine floor tiles, ideal for messy younger guests. There is an abundance of great places to eat in the local area, whether you are looking for a fine dining restaurant or a family friendly pub. Our personal favourites are the Seafood Café and The Union, both located on Fore Street in St Ives. There is also a variety of takeaways, some offering home delivery. Check out the Welcome Guide provided in the property for further information.
The modern kitchen makes meal times a pleasure at Innisfree, with ample storage provided in the white, gloss units and plenty of preparation space on the black granite work tops. An integrated Neff oven, grill and microwave add to the sleekness of the kitchen along with an integrated dishwasher and fridge-freezer. There is a four ring induction hob, kettle, toaster and all the utensils you could require to create a hearty home cooked meal. The double sink is located next to a window which looks to the side of the property. A second set of double patio doors lead out onto the terraced patio area, allowing you to sit out and enjoy the views whilst the dinner is in the oven. Matching colonial style, wooden shutters can be found on both sets of windows.
The utility room can be found off the entrance hallway, with a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board provided.

"We loved the house, thank you. Fantastic quality, beautifully clean (which is very important to me) and lovely finishing touches - smellies, cream tea, bag etc. This was our second visit here and we loved it just as much."
"We all had a lovely time, and felt that Innisfree was very well appointed. The BT TV box was appreciated by my parents for catching up with their favourite soaps after some long days out in the good weather!
The accommodation certainly has the wow factor, with the view from the lounge and master bedroom over the sea being spectacular; the binoculars were a nice touch...thanks."
“We have enjoyed another lovely holiday at Innisfree, Carbis bay everything went smoothly with the bookings and the standard of accommodation could not be faulted we will definitely be back.”
“We had a fantastic holiday at Innisfree. Everything was expected..indeed better than expected! Property was fabulous, Michelle was lovely, the extra touches were really appreciated. Honestly the best holiday we have had in Cornwall, in fact the best rental experience we have had! Overall a wonderful experience. Thank you!”
"Wow! What a great holiday. The accommodation was stunning, we immediately felt relaxed. The children found the house wonderful – They could spy the light house out at sea at night pretending they were watching out for pirates. We loved the open plan design, our favourite eating place was the Seafood restaurant in time. The food was very good and affordable. We spent a lot of time on the beaches, which were all very clean, no dogs and friendly people. The weather was a little changeable on two days but you make the most of it,so we went swimming in the leisure centre and had a trip out to Truro. One of our best holidays."

"Our guests who made use of Innisfree were more than delighted with the property, the amenities perfect with a very high level of cleanliness. They appreciated the personal touches left on the instructions of the owner and loved the location and views that the house offered. Our guests were with us for a large family get together and on one of our days we made use of the 300 bus from the top of the road enabling them to get a real flavour of Cornwall. St Ives was particularly interesting on probably the worst day of the year so far but made acceptable by lunch at The Portminster, excellent as always. Blas Burgers was also a great hit, praise I deed from our American relatives!"
