Sandy Dreams is a beautiful dog friendly coastal retreat in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, set in an ideal location within a few minutes walk of Carbis Bay Beach and the South West Coast Path with miles of beautiful coastlines and beaches to find and explore. Accommodating four guests, an infant and a dog this really is a perfect self catering escape for all the family, Sandy Dreams has been recently refurbished throughout offering a stylish home with fabulous garden and decking to make the most of the Cornish weather.
Upon entering Sandy Dreams you are greeted into a large hallway with space to store boots and hanging coats.
The living area overlooks the decked terrace and is stylishly furnished, there is a large sofa and armchair which is well positioned to make the most of the entertainment package which includes a smart television with Netflix subscription and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs, there is also a bluetooth speaker and complimentary Wi-Fi provided. Amtico is laid throughout and a selection of board games, local guides, maps and reading books are provided.
The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen, here you will find an oak dining table with six matching chairs, two steps lead down into the lounge area, ideal for socialising with everyone.
There is a useful under stair storage cupboard which houses the equipment for little ones and a wicker trunk in which children toys are stored.
The modern kitchen overlooks the pretty rear garden and offers ample storage and worktops. It is suitably appointed with an integrated oven/grill, microwave, 4 ring gas hob, extractor fan, swan fridge/freezer and dishwasher plus hand blender, kettle and toaster. The owners have taken care to ensure that you will have all the crockery, glassware and utensils you need in your luxurious home by the sea. For coffee lovers, you are sure to enjoy the Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary tube of pods.
The utility room is accessed from the hallway, ideal for washing off muddy paws and where you will find ample space for walking boots, beach gear and hanging coats. A washer/ dryer, sink, airer and wine cooler fridge are provided for guest use.
Located to the rear of the property, adjacent to the family bathroom. A king size bed with padded headboard is luxuriously dressed with Egyptian linen, along with a large single day bed which can be made up on request if 5 people are staying, alternatively it provides a comfortable seating area. There is a built in wardrobe, mirror, chest of drawers, matching bedside tables with lamps and dressing area providing ample hanging and shelf storage. For your entertainment a Smart television with access to BBC iplayer, Netflix and DVD player.
Located to the front of the property, this bright room offers a king size bed, once again dressed with the luxury bedding, there is a chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, bedside tables with lamps and full length mirror provided for your comfort. There is a television with DVD player for curling up with your favourite film.
Luxury 400 thread count cotton bed linen is provided in all bedrooms with a selection of high quality towels for each guest. A hairdryer is available for guest use in each of the bedroom and they have fitted carpets throughout. Both bedrooms benefit from sea glimpses across St Ives Bay.
A useful upstairs landing cupboard houses an ironing board and iron for guest use. There are 14 carpeted stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.
The family bathroom is located on the first floor, off the landing adjacent to bedroom one and opposite bedroom two. The white bathroom suite comprises of a bath with overhead shower, low level WC, wash basin, an illuminated vanity mirror with shaver socket and under-sink storage perfect for storing your toiletries.
A selection of high quality 700 thread count towels comprising of bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person along with complimentary White Company toiletries in the bathroom for your arrival.
The garden is situated to the rear of the property and can be accessed via the living area patio door and utility room and is laid with artificial turf and a decked area with a table, six chairs along with a Weber Charcoal BBQ provided for you to make the most of the weather.

There are books and maps on a shelf which are great and useful showing maps and local walks, we found these useful The location is a short walk from the beach, Carbis bay is beautiful, the restaurant on the beach is lovely.
we used our car once in the whole week going to Lands End and St Michaels Mount. The coastal walk to St Ives is beautiful and takes around 30 minutes. The train home is just 3 minutes and cost just £2.40 for a family of four!"

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
