This picturesque scene of the bay is experienced from the whole of the living space. Neutral décor, light wood effect Amtico flooring and natural light streaming through the doors and windows gives a light and airy feel to the room. Collapse into the comfy, large L-shaped corner sofa with a cocktail watching the ocean or relax enjoying your favourite movie on the 42” LCD TV. Sky Cinema, Sports, Entertainment and Kids are available via Now TV, so all your entertainment needs are covered. A Blu-Ray DVD player and a selection of DVD’s, board games and local information are housed within the TV unit. Half of the sofa converts into a high-quality sofa bed with beech slats and a full double size memory foam mattress, bedding for which is available on request.
Set between the kitchen and living space, the dining area benefits from the open plan style making the most of the sea views through the French doors and providing easy access to the modern kitchen. A glass dining table and four chairs are provided, there is also a bistro set on the balcony for alfresco dining.
If you enjoy cooking, then the contemporary kitchen will make this a joy with an extensive selection of bake and cookware, utensils, cutlery, china and glassware as well as all the appliances such as toaster/kettle/cafetiere that you would expect. Its open plan design allows you to enjoy the sea views and socialise as you create your delicious dishes. White gloss units offer ample storage and combined with the sleek black granite work tops give a fresh modern feel. The well-appointed kitchen has a Neff oven-grill, microwave and ceramic hob and extractor. Other essentials include an integrated fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and Bosch dishwasher.
The carpeted bedroom offers a luxurious king-size bed with a 4000-pocket sprung mattress, all seasons duvet and crisp White Company cotton bedlinen. Natural light floods the room from the many windows giving it a light and airy feel and a glimpse of the sea from the bay window. A built-in wardrobe offers plenty of hanging space, which along with solid oak bedside cabinets, dresser and drawers provide ample storage for clothes. Lose yourself in a good book with reading light from the matching bedside lamps or enjoy a film on the 32” TV. Other items include an adjustable mirror, stool, hairdryer and Roman blinds for privacy.
A travel cot and highchair are available for our younger guests. We do ask however that you provide your own bedding for the travel cot.
Heavyweight white fluffy Egyptian cotton hand towels and bathsheets are provided.
The family bathroom is spacious and is tiled throughout. A white Villeroy & Boch suite has been installed comprising of W.C., freestanding wash hand basin and bath. An integrated shower can be found over the bath, with chrome fixtures and fittings and glass shower screen. A chrome heated towel rail is provided and a backlit infinity mirror cabinet with shaver point is located above the wash hand basin.
First Floor Balcony
A private balcony with bistro set comprising a patio table and two chairs is reached from the living area through the French doors. Perfect for alfresco dining or drinks watching the sun set with ocean views stretching right across Carbis Bay and out to Godrevy Lighthouse.
The apartment is located on the first floor and is accessed via a communal front door with intercom security system.
Penreen Apartments are a select development of 4 apartments on Boskerris Road, set back from St Ives Road but conveniently positioned to take advantage of the bus routes to St Ives and other local destinations..
Penreen Apartments offer one and two bedroomed apartments which have balconies or garden patio areas and allocated parking is provided outside the apartments.
Built in 2010 to a very high standard, these apartments will be attractive to guests looking for a central base to enjoy the delights of Carbis Bay and St Ives. A Tesco supermarket is nearby and St. Ives is a 20 minute walk away. There is a delightful walk to the beach through the Carbis Bay Valley. The Carbis Bay railway station is about 7 minutes walk downhill, linking St Ives in one direction and St Erth and mainline stations in the other.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
