The private entrance at Rosevear leads into a hallway with ample space for hanging coats and storing walking boots after a wild coast trek. Leading through to a carpeted hallway with door to the open plan living area to your left, both bedrooms to your right and a cupboard that houses a Washer/ Dryer for your use.
The open plan living area is bright and airy and has been refurbished in a contemporary style using splashes of seaside colours in the furnishings. The high ceilings and white walls provide the perfect canvas for the breathtaking views of St Ives Bay stretching from St Ives Town across to Godrevy through the large bay windows. The luxury theme continues with Amtico New England Oak flooring and lined blinds.
A large sofa provides a spacious and comfy spot for you to enjoy a night in with a movie on the impressive 55” TV complete with surround sound. A selection of DVDs and Blu-Ray in both 2D and 3D are provided for your enjoyment. Alternatively immerse yourself in a local tale or watch the maritime traffic float by below from the cushioned window seat.
This delightful and stylish apartment continues the local connection with interesting prints and original artworks from local artists, such as Jo Downs, and other artists inspired by Cornwall.
The dining area is within the open plan living area the is a gorgeous white glass table and aqua glass chairs offering a touch of luxury for any dining experience. Should you decide to have friends around for dinner the table there is seating for six people.
The kitchen at Rosevear is part of the open plan living area allowing the chef to chat and socialise whilst preparing the meal. The contemporary white gloss units are complimented by a stylish glass worktop with an additional butchers block table providing ample space for cooking up a feast. Bosch integrated appliances are provided including fan oven with grill, electric hob, dishwasher and larder fridge/freezer along with a Lamorna overhead extractor hood and sink.
The owners have taken care to ensure that you are provided with everything you could need, including a Whirlpool Microwave (with grill and crisp function), toaster, kettle and Jura A1 Bean-to-cup coffee machine, and all the necessary utensils, pots and pans for a relaxed and comfortable holiday.
This contemporary bedroom is bright with a sumptuous Oak king size bed boasting the highest quality 600 thread count white cotton linens adding a touch of luxury. Matching oak furniture including a large double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets with lamps, a vanity table with mirror and stool provide plenty of storage for your holiday essentials. For your entertainment a 32” Samsung Freeview TV and bedside digital radio alarm, with iPhone charging facility, is provided. A bookcase contains a range of novels (many from Cornish authors or set in Cornwall) and local interest books.
Bedroom two continues the seaside theme, which is present throughout this delightful apartment, and has an ensuite wet room that has recently been refurbished. The twin beds can be “zip and linked” giving you the versatility to have a twin or luxurious super king. A chest of drawers and built in wardrobe with both hanging and shelving space provide you with all the storage you require as well as a matching bedside cabinet with lamp and digital radio alarm. There is a 26” Samsung television with built in Freeview and a Blu-Ray/ DVD player for your viewing pleasure..
All bed linen and towels (hand towel, bath towel and bath sheet per person) plus a hairdryer in each bedroom are provided. Both bedrooms have fully fitted carpets, Venetian blinds and black out roller blinds.
The family bathroom is fitted with a white suite comprising a wash basin, WC, roll top bath with hand shower, chrome heated towel rail and modern bathroom fittings. A large illuminated mirror, shaver point and shelves provide the perfect place for a little pampering.
High quality bath sheet, bath towel, hand towel and flannels are provided for each guest and complimentary White Company toiletries are provided in each bathroom.
The master bedroom benefits from a spacious ensuite, large shower enclosure with rainfall shower and hand-held body jet, WC, sink with wide vanity unit, chrome heated towel rail, and large illuminated mirror with shaver point.
The wet room is ensuite to bedroom two, and offers a luxurious showering experience with a large rain head shower and hand-held body jet.
The front patio and communal gardens are accessed from the side of the property.The patio is a delight benefitting from an elevated position on the cliff tops, overlooking Carbis Bay Beach and the whole of St Ives Bay round to Godrevy Lighthouse. Steps lead down to the beautifully maintained communal gardens with panoramic views of this stunning part of Cornish coast stretching across the bay to the horizon beyond. From the garden path a gate leads onto the Cornish Coastal Path, left to Carbis Bay itself and right to Porth Kidney and Lelant.
Two tables, each with four chairs, and a garden bench are well placed to allow you to make the most of this beautiful outlook and dine alfresco from sunrise to sunset. Alternatively you may wish to bask in the sun on the lawn area whilst listen to the relaxing sound of the sea just a short distance below.
Parking is available within an allocated car parking space at the rear of the property on Headland Road.
Pentowan Court Apartments is in a wonderful elevated position on Headland Road at Carbis Bay. Formally a guest house and now converted to 5 apartments with a communal sunny garden, allocated parking is provided.
Guests can enjoy stunning views along Carbis Bay beach across to St Ives in one direction and Godrevy Lighthouse in the other. Conveniently located for the short train ride into St Ives to enjoy the restaurants, shops and galleries. Pentowan Court is also adjacent to the South West Coast Path where you can enjoy the stunning scenery along the cliff walk to St Ives or to Lelant and Hayle. A convenient and comfortable base to explore the many delights of Cornwall.

"I really can't fault a thing, from the administration when we booked to meeting up with Claire our Housekeeper....what a lovely lady!
So now onto the accommodation - WOW..WOW...WOW....!
Everything you needed was there and plenty of it! Our cream tea in the fridge was a lovely surprise along with the very helpful and well used pack of leaflets and vouchers. The owners have thought of everything, and I must say for every age group. We had my 87 year old mother with us and we all said the same - it's the best accommodation we've used and of course, the added benefit of those view to die for!"

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
