Sunrise is a beautifully presented ground floor apartment at St Uny, Carbis Bay Beach is just a short stroll away, accredited as a Blue Flag beach it is never too busy to be enjoyed. Sunrise is ideal for couples, a restful retreat and an ideal base to discover Cornwall where you can meander through the streets of its quaint seaside villages. Close to the rail link into St Ives, you can enjoy all that this delightful town has to offer, The South West Coastal Path, for some of the best Cornish sea vistas in the UK any time of year, is also nearby.
Upon entering Sunrise you are greeted into a porch where you will find hooks for hanging coats and plenty of storage space for wellies and walking boots in preparation for your outdoor adventures and long beach walks.
Sunrise has a very spacious and bright open plan lounge with wood flooring. This stylish living area has plenty of room for two to relax and spend a holiday in peace and quiet. Full of creature comforts there are two leather sofas that will help you to get comfortable, these are ideally located to view the 55” LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player. There is a selection of DVDs and books provided should you be looking for an evening’s entertainment at home.
A paved private courtyard area can be accessed from the living area. On sunny days you can open the doors wide for a blast of fresh salty air!
For those who may need to work away from home, wireless broadband is offered throughout Sunrise.
The dining area is located in the open plan living area has a wooden table seating four with high backed dining chairs for those nights in when home cooking is on the agenda or if you wish to entertain guests during your stay. A high chair is provided for infants.
For those nights when you decide to dine out you are spoilt for choice with the range of high quality restaurants in the area serving local produce at a high standard. Spend the night fine dining in St Ives and watch the sun go down over a sea view to die for. If you are lucky you may spot dolphins playing in the surf!
Sunrise boasts a high specification, contemporary kitchen area with integrated appliances. The spacious open plan kitchen with white gloss fitted units and ample storage space is fitted with NEFF built in appliances, including an electric fan assisted oven with grill, electric hob, microwave and overhead stainless extractor hood, integrated NEFF larder fridge/freezer, and full sized dishwasher. There is a hand food processor/ blender, kettle and toaster and washer/dryer, everything you would expect from an apartment of this quality. Guests should find all the utensils, pots and pans that they could possibly need to prepare a meal in this home from home.
This relaxing bedroom is bright and airy with a neutral colour scheme. The kingsize bed has a luxury pocket sprung and memory foam mattress and a super kingsize duvet with crisp white Egyptian cotton linens ensuring you have all the ingredients for a perfect nights sleep. There is a double wardrobe and chest of drawers providing plenty of storage space for holiday outfits. Two bedside cabinets with bedside lamps are located at either side of the bed should you wish to settle in for the night with a good book. For your entertainment you can watch television on the 20″ LCD Freeview TV or listen to your own selection of tunes using the dock station provided which is compatible with a variety of devices.
There are fully fitted carpets and adjustable vertical blinds over the patio doors leading to the private courtyard.
A cot is available for our younger guests, please provide your own bedding for the travel cot.
The bathroom of Sunrise benefits from a quality Villeroy and Boch white suite comprising of wash basin, WC, large bath with shower overhead and chrome heated towel rail. This fresh bathroom is tiled with neutral and chocolate ceramics throughout and has a large mirrored cabinet with shelves providing a perfect storage place for your toiletries. Shaver point and vanity light ensures that you are provided with all the essentials.
A selection of high quality towels comprising of a bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person. Complimentary White Company toiletries are also provided.
With access from the living area and bedroom the private rear courtyard benefits from the sun in the morning hours and has a table and four chairs for you to while away the day or enjoy eating al-fresco. Here you can enjoy a leisurely meal. Alternatively you can relax with a morning coffee whilst taking in the sunshine.
The enclosed courtyard is secure with a gate to the side of the property.
A communal garden area is available to the front of the property for guests to use throughout their stay.
St Uny Apartments are a select development of 7 purpose-built contemporary apartments on Boskerris Road, Carbis Bay, some apartments are seaward facing and enjoy fantastic views from St Ives to Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond.

St Uny is just a short walk away from the Blue Flag beach at Carbis Bay and also to the small railway station where the single-track railway connects to St Ives in less than five minutes, perhaps one of the most scenic rail journeys in the UK.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
