You are greeted into the property with a spacious entrance hallway which leads into the living area. The living area really is the heart of the home, where you can enjoy sociable open plan living. Incredibly comfortable two and three seater sofas are provided with a large oak coffee table, oak side table and reading lamp. Throughout the property local art can be appreciated, helping to create a real seaside atmosphere. For your entertainment, an LG 37” LCD TV is provided with Sky including Sky Entertainment package, Nintendo Wii including Wii Fit and selection of games, DVD player with a range of films and complimentary Wi-Fi. A selection of programmed mood lighting helps to create the right ambiance, whatever the occasion.
The dining area takes full advantage of the wonderful sea views through the full length floor to ceiling windows. A glass table with four cream leather seats are provided, along with a floor lamp and book case which houses a great selection of cookery, local area and holiday reading books, board games, DVD’s, CD’s, binoculars and iPod docking station. If you like to enjoy the delights of local cuisine whilst on holiday, then St Ives is the perfect location with its fantastic array of restaurants. Why not try Casa Romano, a lovely Italian restaurant located just 10 minutes walk from your apartment?
Located off the main hallway, the utility cupboard offers lots of ample storage for suitcases and all of your beach gear. You can also find a box full of beach toys which are provided for your use during your stay.
The contemporary kitchen at Golden Sands makes cooking a real pleasure, with generous storage within the soft close gloss units and ample work top space. Fantastically appointed with NEFF appliances, including a 5 burner hob with extractor hood above and integrated washer-dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven-grill, fridge and freezer. You can find all the utensils you could require along with little extras such as a coffee machine and food mixer. Two white leather bar stools can be found under the breakfast bar, great for perching and talking to the designated chef.
Bedroom One with En-suite
Attention to detail has really been taken in ensuring the bedrooms are just as well appointed as the living areas. The master bedroom is very spacious with excellent storage found within the built-in mirrored wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside drawers. The king size bed is impeccably dressed with crisp white Egyptian cotton bed linen, throw and cushions, making it very tempting to jump straight in. Additional lighting is provided by the bedside lamps and directional reading lights mounted just above the bed. A wall mounted 26” LCD digital TV with built in DVD player is provided, along with a tall mirror, radio alarm clock and hairdryer. A private sun trap courtyard can be accessed off the master bedroom, great for escaping for a quiet read.
It is the master bedroom of Golden Sands that enjoys the comforts of an en-suite shower room, this is a beautifully sandstone tiled bathroom with contemporary fittings. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided for each guest.
The spacious second bedroom at Golden Sands is located off the lounge area with a window which looks to the side of The Sands. The twin beds are also beautifully dressed, ensuring guests receive a sound nights sleep. Storage is provided within the double wardrobe, tall boy chest of drawers, and large bedside drawers. A digital TV with built-in DVD player, reading lamp, hairdryer and mirror are all provided for your use.
The spacious family bathroom comprises of a bath with overhead shower, free standing wash basin and WC. Fully tiled with luxurious sandstone tiles, sleek chrome fittings including heated towel rail and shaver point, and useful storage is provided within the large mirrored bathroom cabinet.
The en-suite to the master bedroom is also fully tiled with striking sandstone ceramics. This room also boasts a large shower cubicle with rainfall power shower, WC, freestanding wash basin, heated chrome towel rail, shaver point and free standing mirror.
A bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided for each guest, together with complimentary White Company toiletries in each bathroom.
Golden Sands offers an enclosed private courtyard which can be accessed from the master bedroom. This little suntrap is a great place for drying off beach gear and for sitting out and enjoying a glass of wine or a good holiday book.
The Sands Apartments are a prestigious development of contemporary apartments of various designs, ideally positioned to maximise the views across St. Ives Bay and convenient for the Blue Flag accredited Carbis Bay beach.
The delightful single line rail connection is perhaps the most scenic rail journey in the UK, linking St. Ives to Penzance. Nearby is the the South West Coastal Path which extends around Cornwall, locally you can enjoy the stunning coastal scenery along the pathways to St Ives or to Lelant and Hayle.
The apartments at The Sands have been thoughtfully designed and incorporate numerous luxurious features such as open plan living areas with mood lighting, fully fitted designer kitchens and sumptuous tiled bathrooms. "We had a great holiday Staying at the Golden Sands was a treat. We were greeted by a lovely lady to show us around. In the fridge was a cream Tea for four some milk and a bottle of apple juice, very nice touch, on the counter was a bucket and spade along with a jute shopping bag with Carbis Bay telling us these were gifts to take home with us. I was born in Saint Ives and have been holidaying with my own family for more than 20 years. This is the first time we have stayed in Carbis Bay and it won't be the last."

"We had a wonderful stay in Carbis Bay, our apartment at Golden sands really was 5 star accommodation. We walked daily into St Ives along the coastal path, we also used the local train on a couple of days, once going into Penzance. The Minack theatre was a great experience and we all enjoyed it, it was a brilliant evening out. The beach at Carbis bay was idyllic and we had a meal a couple of times at the new beachside open air bistro (which belongs to the hotel) and the service , food and ambiance was superb. We couldn’t have wished for a better weeks holiday anywhere in England."
"We found the apartment Golden Sands extremely clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the Sunday Roast at Trevaskis Farm and liked the selection of Cornish produce found at the mart. We love the selection of restaurants in St Ives and would recommend Alba, Porthmeor Cafe and Porthgwidden Cafe. As it was Easter holiday, when we didn't want to go into St Ives as it can get very busy, we had dinners at Becks Fish and Chips and Casa Romano. We would also recommend making a trip to Fowey. My 2 year old daughter felt at home at the apartment and we have enjoyed our stay."

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
