"We've just returned from our eighth visit to Cornerways and really love it there. Our family consists of my husband, myself and two adult children, one of them with Aspergers who lives with us.We love St Ives,me staying in Boskerris Road as a teenager and revisiting with the family when our sons were little,so to us it is like coming home. And Cornerways is ideal for us,giving us our own bathrooms and the cinema room for our sons to screen their favourite films. We love the pale neutral decor which is always immaculate and it is always spotlessly cleaned by Sally and of course the views are to die for."

"Just wanted to say we had an amazing week staying in Cornerways. The house had everything we could have wished for to make our family Christmas celebrations complete including tree and tasteful decorations!
We found it to be spotlessly clean throughout, beds were comfy, absolutely everything worked effectively and the cinema room was a highlight for the children. The house had a very homely feel. It also felt much more spacious in reality than it looked on the website photos. We would definitely recommend this to others and are planning to return sometime soon."

"We had a fabulous holiday, the house was exceptional and we managed to feed all the family (19) albeit in 2 sittings. The kitchen was superbly appointed with everything you could possibly need. All the extra touches, lovely bedding and towels and toiletries. The children loved the TV room, peace for the adults too. Its location to the beach is excellent, 5 mins down, 10 back!"

"Just to say what a lovely time we had at Cornerways last week. It was our fifth visit and we were once again entranced by the astonishing views and the beautiful accommodation. The cinema room was very popular once again allowing us four adults to view our favourite TV programmes and the wifi is essential to us all. Cornerways is tastefully furnished and always spotlessly cleaned by Sally. Julie was very welcoming once more and we really loved the cream tea and chocolate buttons. We are returning in September for our sixth visit. We consider Cornerways to be our Cornish holiday home and can't wait to return."

"We loved the Cornerways property and the cinema room was a bonus! Very comfortable and the 3 bathrooms made it convenient for bedtimes. All of the kitchen utensils were clean and we were not short of anything. As for places to go - the train ride to St Ives proved popular with our children and saved us having the trouble of having to park! We went to Trebah Gardens, Paradise Park (a good soft play area for younger kids) and the beaches around St Ives are great - St Ives harbour, Porthminster, Porthmeor and Carbis Bay beaches are all excellent."

"We had a great time again at Cornerways returning for the second time this year, it has wonderful views, three bedrooms, three bathrooms and wifi and was in a relatively quiet position. We have always loved St. Ives.Sparklingly clean,in pristine condition and extremely comfortable. Our media savvy adult sons loved the cinema room and we loved the comfortable beds, fluffy white towels and the cream tea you left for us.It was a great base for us all and was very well equipped. We had a wonderfully busy week taking the train into St Ives, eating at The Ocean Grill (fantastically tasty full English breakfast,The Harbour Fish Bar (the fish platter to share between two was ample for three of us),and The Tate Gallery cafe( a great steak sandwich and breathtaking views). We went to Penzance eating at the Honeypot(mentioned in The Guardian) where one of us experienced a delicious Homitty Pie(cheese ,potato and onion).Truro was really pretty and unexpectedly quaint, the Park and Ride was useful and we ate traditional food at the Cloisters.A visit to the aircraft museum at Newquay was very interesting for us all and we rounded off the week driving to Gwithian, a place we stayed as a family many years ago,to photograph the Autumn high tide."

"We rented Cornerways in Carbis bay over Christmas and we had a wonderful time. The standard, quality and the cleanliness of the house was the best we have experienced and we have been coming to Cornwall for the summer and Christmas for over 20 years. The house was clean and fresh and immaculate and made the whole experience even more comfortable. Many thanks for providing an excellent service (from the meet and greet to the cleaner texting to wish us a safe journey home!) and the welcome pack was a lovely touch."

"Cornerways was a superb property in an ideal location and the standard was very high indeed with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. The grandkids especially loved the big screen room , we adults could not get a look in , shame we couldnt get them to bed earlier. The house was very clean on arrival and could not be faulted any way , we hope we left it in the same condition. Fantastic place and fantastic area/location."

"Overall we had an absolutely superb holiday in Cornerways, cleanliness was faultless and helped start our holiday off in a brilliant way, as was the welcome gifts of the bubbly and cream tea box! The kitchen was really well equipped with quality pots and pans (we cook a lot so this made a massive difference to us). The house itself had everything we could have wished for and the cinema room was superb, buckets, spades, balls etc for the beach were a really welcome addition for our 3 year old. Location wise, Cornerways is in an absolutely superb spot, great view and really close to the beach and train station."

"The accommodation was lovely, well situated and spacious, in general, great facilities, well thought out. For other guests, the walk along the coast is lovely, the local train service a boon and we had a really lovely meal at The Black Rock (a little gem of a place)."

"This was our second visit to Cornerways and we absolutely love it – would live there is we could, fantastic house, nice decor and style. For our needs, we liked the layout, the Cinema room giving us an alternative place to watch TV/films whilst my daughter watched other things in the lounge. Sea views from the house and location in Carbis Bay excellent. Standard of accommodation and cleanliness definitely 5-star could not go to any other house now in Carbis Bay other than Cornerways! As far as Carbis Bay goes, well we love that too- since we discovered it is so beautiful and makes for a truly relaxing holiday. We went to the Porthminster Beach Cafe on the walk from Carbis to St Ives and thought the food there was superb, if a little expensive. As always we had a meal at La Casita and The Badger Inn in Lelant – both of which we like, different types of meals."

"Cornerways fitted perfectly to our needs (couple with one child and both grandmothers). It was clean, well situated in a quiet neighbourhood and easy access to Carbis Bay station. We really loved to stay there. A wonderful surprise was the walkabout to King Arthur's castle in Tintagel. A very good thing was also the helicopter flight back from the Scilly Islands."
