The Mincarlo are a group of small islands off the Ises of Scilly and a nautical theme flows throughout with artwork featuring everything from St Ives fishing boats to glorious Cornish surf breaks. A pair of oars can be found hanging on the wall and even a skateboard has been placed above the stairs, highlighting a beach lifestyle. The outside space has been created to truly capture the beauty of it’s countryside setting, with two raised decked areas, for dining alfresco or enjoying a sun downer or two in the evening. A gas barbeque and outside furniture are provided so you can truly relax and enjoy outside living with family and friends. If the kids start to bounce off the walls with excitement there’s even a trampoline with safety netting too. With private parking for up to three cars Mincarlo has everything you need for the perfect family seaside getaway.

The Living Area

The Living area is located on the ground floor at the front of the property offering beautiful country views. It is part of the open plan living space, comprising of the kitchen, dining and living area. Natural light floods in through the bay window and large patio glass doors lighting the whole space. A Cornish and nautical theme flows throughout with beach lifestyle artwork and even a Cornish mining Davey lamp. When the weather is good you can open the patio doors leading out to the raised outside decked area, expanding the living and dining space. Inside a large comfortable sofa and white leather chair are provided so you can relax in style. Underfloor heating gives the space a comfortable and cosy feeling all year round. Relax with a glass of wine, sit back and enjoy the country views or watch your favourite film on the 50″ large screen wall mounted Samsung TV.

Dining Area

The dining area is located to the rear of the living area. Large patio doors allow natural light to flood in, giving the space a warm and cosy feel. A wooden dining table with seating for six is provided, perfect for getting all the family together for meals or entertaining. When the weather allows the large bi folding doors open out onto the decked outside area, expanding the space. This offers the pleasure of dining alfresco with glorious Cornish country views.

Kitchen

The kitchen is located at the rear of the property, part of the open plan living space. Bathed in natural light from the sky light and the large patio glass doors, the whole area is light and welcoming. Sleek and modern in design, with white units, charcoal work surfaces and smokey blue walls. A large breakfast island is perfectly positioned in front of the French doors, so you can enjoy breakfast with a country view. This well appointed kitchen has a Hotpoint five-ring gas hob with extractor above, built in fan assisted oven with separate grill, Breville microwave, Hotpoint washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is also a second integrated freezer, ideal for larger families, a Breville 4 slice toaster and matching kettle. A comprehensive selection of utensils, crockery and glassware are all provided.

Utility room

A utility room is located off the kitchen comprising of a sink, draining board, washing machine and an airer. There is also a door leading out onto the rear terrace.

Master En-suite Bedroom

The master en-suite bedroom is front facing and located on the first floor benefiting from beautiful Cornish countryside views. Step out onto the private balcony and wow at the breathtaking Cornish coast with far reaching views right out to sea. Glass fronted, it offers an idyllic setting to enjoy breakfast with a view. Two chairs are provided for your comfort. Inside the room reflects its rural setting outside, with woodland themed artwork on the walls. A luxurious super king size bed ensures a comfortable night’s rest. Two individual styled bedside units with lamps, conveniently positioned either side of the bed, a full-length mirror, nine chest of drawers’ wardrobe are all provided. If you enjoy a movie before you drift off to sleep a large Samsung TV is ideally mounted on the wall.

The master bedroom features a beautiful private en-suite bathroom.

Bedroom two

Bedroom two is also front facing and located on the first floor, offering wonderful country views and a private glass fronted balcony with sea views. This comfortable en-suite room is bathed in natural light from the glass balcony doors. Artwork featuring Cornish beaches remind you how close you are to the beach. Perfect for children, it features two twin beds, a four drawers’ wardrobe with reading lamp for bedtime stories. There’s even a resident teddy bear ready to welcome little ones. Lie back and relax enjoying a movie on the wall mounted TV.

A built-in wardrobe offering hanging space for children’s clothes is located on the landing between the master bedroom and bedroom two.

Bedroom two features an en-suite shower room.

Bedroom three

This ground floor room is front facing offering stunning country views. Natural light beams into the room through the bay window making it light and airy. A statue of a pink flamingo proudly takes pride of place in front of the window. The fun countryside styling continues with bird themed cushions. A comfortable double bed, two stylish modern cubbyholes conveniently placed either side of the bed, a mirror, wardrobe, 5 drawer chest of drawers and a dressing table are all provided. A wall mounted TV is perfect for a movie before bed.

Bedroom four

This ground floor room is rear facing with terrace views. Lit by natural light which beams in through the French glass doors. The space has a nautical and coastal theme with a striking image of a Cornish fishing boat on the wall above the bed. A luxurious super king size bed, two matching bedside tables with lamps, a dressing table with mirror and flat screen TV, make up this comfortable and relaxing room. Open the French doors and step out onto the rear sun terrace, the ideal spot for an alfresco breakfast or drinks as the sun sets.

En-suite to Master Bedroom

The master bedroom’s en-suite bathroom is modern in style with a free-standing bath with hand held shower taking centre stage, right under a sky light. Sink into the tub at night and enjoy a leisurely soak watching the stars. During the day the sky light allows natural light to flood in making it a welcoming space. A sink with under storage, mirror, WC and chrome heated towel rail all make up this luxury en-suite.

En-suite to bedroom Two

The private en-suite to bedroom two has an enclosed rain style shower, sink, WC and heated chrome towel rail. A frosted window lets natural light into the room giving it a light and airy feel. A back lit mirror with under storage is also provided.

Bathroom three

Bathroom three is located between the ground floor bedrooms. Natural light fills the space from a sky light. A bath with over shower and screen, WC, back lit mirror, sink with under storage and chrome heated towel rail ensure you have everything a family desire.

Upper decked area

The upper decked area is front facing boasting beautiful Cornish country views. Accessed from the kitchen or dining area by the bi-folding doors it’s the perfect setting for dining alfresco. Outside dinning furniture and a gas barbeque are provided. This is also a great space for four-legged family members.

Lower decked area

The lower decked setting also enjoys wonderful country views. Relax with friends enjoying lazy afternoon drinks or sundowners. Four chairs and a rustic wooden table are provided.

Trampoline

A trampoline with safety netting is provided at the front of your luxury holiday home. So, the kids will be excited to return home after an exciting day at the beach.

Rear courtyard and terrace

Beach wood decking forms a walkway around the property, edged with minimalistic and modern clad fencing with raised beds. Leading to a hidden courtyard, soaked in Cornish sunshine, this makes the perfect area to relax and listen to all the wonders of the countryside. An outside tap is provided for washing wet suits or sandy paws, as well as an ideally positioned washing hanging rail.

It is also accessed via bedroom three or the door in the Utility room.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrival and Departure dates for your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.

For late notice breaks i.e. arrivals within 7 days, breaks are discounted by up to 25%, the dates can overlap a changeover day only if the overlap occurs within the next 7 days.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
