English Harbour is a stunning one bedroom apartment which provides luxury holiday accommodation in St. Ives. English Harbour is located on The Terrace in St Ives and boasts breathtaking views across Porthminster Beach and St Ives Bay and over to Godrevy and beyond. English Harbour has been luxuriously decorated throughout in a contemporary style. It includes safe underground parking and is situated within 3 minutes walk from Porthminster beach and a short walk from the harbour. English Harbour offers the perfect holiday escape for couples or young families.
The open plan living area has amazing views over Porthminster Beach, St Ives and Godrevy Lighthouse. A comfortable large sofa is provided for your comfort along with a bistro table and chairs set at the window for you to enjoy the fabulous sea view with your morning coffee. An LED lit large TV cabinet houses the superb entertainment package provided, with a 55″ Samsung Smart Full UHD TV, PlayStation 4 with two controllers and a selection of games. A Blu-ray DVD player also sits on the TV unit with dvds and blu-ray discs for your entertainment along with a Bose Colour Sound-link Bluetooth speaker for playing your own selection of music and complimentary WiFi. A selection of board games and playing cards are also provided for your entertainment. You will also find a selection of books, maps and leaflets to inspire you with local information of things to do during your stay and places to eat in St. Ives.
The dining area is situated within the open plan kitchen area with a glass round table with four white chairs where guests can eat and enjoy the views from the windows.
The hallway welcomes you into the apartment and provides ample hanging space for your coats.
The kitchen is situated at the end of the open plan living area and has a range of white cupboards with a glass lit unit on the wall and plenty of shelving space. It has a built in electric oven and grill and four ring ceramic hob and includes a large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Alongside the kettle and toaster everything you could possibly need to prepare a meal is housed in the cupboards including utensils, pots and pans and plenty of crockery and glasses for guests use.
The bin store is located at the side of the rear outside car park.
The large master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed incorporating a luxurious Hypnos king size mattress, large built-in mirror fronted wardrobe with shelves, a chest of drawers with vanity mirror and stool, matching bedside tables with reading lamps and a DAB clock radio. A 40” Samsung Smart LED flat screen television with Sky Magic Eye feed from the living room TV is provided for those lazy mornings in bed. Luxury White Company Egyptian cotton bed linen and White Company beautiful fluffy towels (one hand towel and one bath sheet per person) plus a hairdryer are provided.
An ironing board and iron are housed in the wardrobe for guests use.
The bathroom is located next to the master bedroom accessed from the hallway and has been recently renovated. The bathroom consists of a wash basin, WC, walk-in rainfall shower with seperate hand held shower, heated towel rail and an illuminated vanity mirror with shaver point.
A White Company bath sheet and hand towel is provided for each guest and complimentary White Company toiletries are provided in the bathroom along with complimentary Baylis & Harding hand wash.
Carrack Widden Apartments are ideally positioned overlooking Porthminster Beach on The Terrace in St Ives enjoying stunning coastal views across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond. They are ideally located for the town and beaches.
The quirky cobbled streets of St Ives and all they have to offer are right on your doorstep, and with secure covered parking for guests Carrick Widden is the perfect base to explore the area or to enjoy a car free holiday.
St Ives has so much to offer holidaymakers which is why they return year on year, the quaint harbour is just 3 minutes walk away with its shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants. Guests are spoilt for choice with a number of golden Blue Flag awarded beaches, Carrack Widden overlooks the child friendly Porthminster Beach with its famous Beach Cafe one of many superb restaurants to choose from.
For those who decide to use public transport, the bus station is around the corner, the branch line train railway station is 5 minutes walk away just above Porthminster Beach and links St Ives with St Erth, Penzance and mainline stations. Ideal for car free holidays.
‘The Malakoff’ nearby is a small garden located at the end of The Terrace, offering a magnificent vantage point for taking in the panoramic views across the harbour, Porthminster beach and St Ives Bay. There is also a fine bronze sculpture by Barbara Hepworth called ‘Epidaurous’ which can be appreciated.

What can i say....
had an amazing time in st ives, lots of lovely places to eat and had some amazing days out.
Then relaxed back 'home' ..... all you could want within the apartment! Will definitely recommend and return. We have stayed at oceania and the 1 and only and are all beautiful! Thank you!
English Harbour is a beautiful apartment with stunning views. Very well equipped. Everything we could have asked for and more. Easy 5 minute walk to the harbour. Parked the car and hardly used it. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to stay again
