Set on the right hand side of this beautiful farmhouse the lounge benefits from triple aspect windows and patio doors that open onto the garden and terrace. The exposed granite fireplace with woodburner and stripped pine floorboards combined with the contemporary sofas seating six, large armchair, chairs and bespoke wood and stainless steel coffee table provide the perfect place to relax in this luxurious home. Guests can enjoy the 40” Sony Smart LED TV with complimentary Netflix subscription for guest use, a Blu-Ray DVD player, and bluetooth enabled music system for playing your own music selection from your own device.
This quiet room can be found off the entrance hallway on the ground floor to the front of the house, with stripped pine floors, a mahogany desk with chair, two Queen Anne chairs and this is the perfect place to catch up on your emails, write a postcard or finally read that book you have been meaning to get to. There is a Victorian tiled fireplace with a bookcase that houses a selection of games, local books, maps and local reference guides should you be looking for inspiration on what to do and where to go.
Tucked away on the second floor, up twelve stairs, guests can hide away in the den with a favourite film or book. There is a sofa seating three, two bean bags and a desk & chair with a 40″ Sony TV and Playstation IV with two controllers & a selection of games and DVDs provided for your enjoyment.
The dining area is situated within the downstairs open plan kitchen/diner and is perfectly positioned for socialising with those preparing dinner in the kitchen. Furnished with a large oak table with 8 Calligaris dining chairs, the dining area benefits from a large window with seat and views across the countryside to The Steeple Woods, for cooler days there is a wood burner with a basket of logs provided for guest use. For you entertainment there is a 24″ JVC Smart TV with Netflix, bluetooth music system with CD player and a selection of cds.
You enter this beautiful home, into a spacious hallway that allows access to all the other areas of this delightful house. There are hooks for hanging coats and space for storing walking shoes or wellies after an energetic day exploring the beautiful beach and coastline on your doorstep. Access to upstairs via 12 stairs, a door leading to the Utility room and to the left through to the kitchen/diner and right through to sitting room, family shower room and lounge beyond.
The Hallway and Utility have tiled floors, the family shower room has vinyl floors whilst the Lounge, Sitting room, Den and Kitchen have original stripped pine floors. All of the living areas have spot lighting and a selection of lamps for your comfort.
The spacious country kitchen has blue painted units and black polished granite work surfaces on the large central island providing ample storage and preparation space. The well stocked kitchen has everything you could require with a large Rangemaster gas range cooker with 5 gas rings including wok ring, two electric ovens, a grill, warming plate and overhead extractor, under-counter fridge, microwave, a full size dishwasher, a Dualit kettle and four slice toaster. The owners have taken care to ensure that you will have all the crockery, glassware and utensils you need in this luxurious home by the sea.
A separate utility room with a fridge freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board, hoover, sink and space for hanging coats and leaving walking shoes/ boots is located off the entrance hallway.
A door from the kitchen leads to the back garden and terrace with washing line and boiler, the large white washed porch provides a useful place to hang wetsuits to dry after a day in the surf. Or perhaps a sheltered spot for you to leave your wellies and boots.
Bedroom One is located off the first floor landing and benefits from spectacular sea views across the countryside to bay to Godrevy lighthouse through the large windows. This spacious room has a king size oak bed, luxuriously dressed with Egyptian cotton linen. There are two large painted fitted wardrobes with oak chest of drawers with three drawers. Two matching oak bedside tables with lamps, full length oak mirror, original stripped pine floors and blue & white lined curtains ensure you will have a relaxing holiday.
Positioned to the rear of the property this lovely bright bedroom has dual aspect windows and views across the garden to the countryside beyond. With twin beds, lamps, a 4 drawer chest of drawers and hanging space. There is stripped pine flooring throughout with lined curtains framing the windows and allowing a peaceful night’s sleep.
Positioned to the front of the property, bedroom three is located on the first floor and has a picture window with window seat to make the most of the countryside views with sea glimpses in the distance. This room also boasts a king size (5ft) hardwood bed which is sumptuously dressed in Egyptian cotton linen. There is a large matching wardrobe with a small mirror, a chest of drawers with 7 drawers, chair and bedside table with two lamps.
The fourth and final bedroom of this stunning farmhouse is located on the first floor with a windows looking over the garden to the countryside beyond. This room boasts a super king sized Zip and Link bed which can be made up as a twin upon request. There is a large wardrobe with hanging space, two matching bedside tables with lamps along with curtains with blackout linings for your comfort.
A hairdryer can be found in all four bedrooms. All bedrooms have curtains with blackout lining.
A hand towel and bath sheet are provided per person for guest use, together with complimentary White Company toiletries in all of the bathrooms.
Family Bathroom One
The luxury spacious family bathroom is located on first floor adjacent to bedroom two and close to bedroom one. The bathroom suite comprises a bath, large walk in shower with rainfall shower and handheld shower, wash basin, W.C, mirror, vanity light, shaver point and heated towel rail. There is wooden bench seat.
Family Bathroom Two
Located on the first floor this spacious bathroom is easily accessible to bedrooms three and four. The bathroom suite comprises a large walkin shower enclosure, wash basin and adjacent storage cupboard, a large mirror with vanity light, shaverpoint, towel rail and W.C.
Family Shower Room and WC
Located on the ground floor off the passage way between the sitting room and lounge, this stylish bathroom comprises a large walk-in shower enclosure, wash basin, mirror, towel rail and W.C.
A bath sheet and hand towel are provided for each guest, together with complimentary White Company toiletries in each bathroom. Please provide your own beach towels.
A small walled front garden with gravel beds, mature plants, herb garden and a tiled path leading to the traditional granite porch and the front door, is a charming way to be greeted by this impresssive home. A wooden bench is provided for guests to make the most of the morning sun or enjoy a quiet morning coffee.
Garden and terrace
Corva Farmhouse has large gardens to the rear and side which are mostly laid to lawn with flowerbeds of mature plants commonly seen in Cornwall. There is a well stocked herb garden which guests are encouraged to use.
The decked sun terrace can be accessed from the lounge, the path from the front and also the kitchen. The terrace has a large dining table that seats 8 along with a BBQ should you decide to make the most of the Cornish weather and dine alfresco. A further two sun loungers provided are provided for extra relaxation!
Accessed from the kitchen, there is a washing line and walled lawn garden.
Please note that there is a drop from the edge of the garden and care should be taken and we would recommend that children are supervised.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
