The panoramic sea views from here are magnificent, sweeping across from St Ives harbour to Hayle Towans taking in Godrevy lighthouse. Alternatively, why not watch the comings and goings in the bay from the lounge window using the monocular and tripod provided. For your comfort, Abalone provides two comfortable grey leather settees and coffee table, ideally positioned to make the most of the comprehensive entertainment package provided, which includes a 55″ LED Smart TV with Full Sky package including Movies & Sport, Bluray DVD player with a selection of DVD’s for all ages, Bose Soundlink bluetooth speaker and PS4 games console with a variety of games.
The dining area is situated within the open plan living space and is furnished with a glass table with four dining chairs. It is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the sea views through the french doors, as well as for socialising with those preparing dinner in the kitchen. If you decide to taste the culinary delights which St Ives has to offer, we thoroughly recommend the towns fine dining restaurants, such as the Alba and of course not forgetting the award winning Porthminster Beach Café which is conveniently located just a couple of minutes walk away from Abalone.
When entering this stunning apartment, you are greeted into a welcoming hallway where you will find a contemporary coat stand and shoe cupboard with seat which provides ample space for all your shoes and boots.
The contemporary kitchen comprises of white high gloss units teamed with black granite worktops and splash backs. It is suitably appointed with an integrated Neff oven/grill, microwave, 4 ring ceramic hob, extractor fan, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The owners have taken care to ensure that you will have all the crockery, glassware and utensils you need in your luxurious home by the sea. A kettle, toaster and filter coffee machine is provided along with two sizes of cafetiere for guests use. The kitchen at Abalone caters for all you could need from baking items to childrens crockery making it an ideal home from home.
A large utility room can be found off the entrance hallway where there is ample space for storing beach gear and hanging additional coats. A Neff washer-dryer, iron, ironing board can also be found within, along with umbrellas for guests use. A wall mounted clothes airer is provided.
Master with En-suite
This bright and spacious bedroom has floor to ceiling sliding doors with stunning views which open onto the private balcony. It is carpeted throughout with a beautifully dressed king size bed with Hypnos mattress, matching bedside tables with reading lamps, dressing table and chair. A bedroom armchair sits in front of the french doors allowing you to admire the view outside. The large built-in five door wardrobe and chest of drawers ensure you have ample space to stow away your belongings. Within the wardrobe is a room safe to keep your vaulables safe and a hairdryer along with shoe racks and plenty of hanging space and drawers. If you ever tire of the nautical scenes before you, there is a 32″ LCD HD SMART TV with Freeview allowing you to access On Demand TV, Blu Ray DVD Player and DAB clock radio. The master bedroom also benefits from its own fully tiled en-suite shower room with complimentary White Company toiletries. The french doors lead onto the balcony where a two seater garden bench with cushions is provided for drinking your coffee and admiring the views.
Bedroom two is conveniently located next to the master bedroom, the twin single beds can be arranged as a zip and link super king bed on request. You can benefit from further views of the towns beaches from the picture window. This bedroom also has a wardrobe with double sliding mirrored doors, bedside table with reading light, 32” LCD Smart television with built in Freeview allowing access to On Demand TV, Blu-Ray and a DAB clock radio. A complimentary hairdryer is also provided for guests use.
Luxury White Company bed linen is provided in both bedrooms with a selection of high quality White Company towels for each guest.
The spacious family bathroom is located off the entrance hallway, next to the utility room and is tiled throughout. Comprising a bath with overhead shower, WC, large wash basin, chrome heated towel rail, a large mirror and shaver point. A wall mounted towel rack to store towels and a laundry basket are provided for guest use during their stay. Useful hooks are provided on the back of the doors.
The master bedroom en-suite boasts the same superb contemporary style with floor and wall tiles and comprises a large walk in Shower, WC, large wash basin, heated chrome towel rail, shaver point and large vanity mirror. A wall mounted towel rack is provided with useful hooks on the back of the door.
A selection of high quality White Company towels are provided per person along with complimentary White Company Toiletries.
The large private decked balcony is accessible from both the lounge and master bedroom via the floor to ceiling double sliding doors. A table with four chairs and a two seater bench outside the Master bedroom with cushions are provided for alfresco dining or pre-dinner drinks. This luxury apartment is located just above Porthminster beach and benefits from panoramic sea views across the bay to Gwithian and Godrevy lighthouse and down to St Ives harbour and the Island.

Everything was so clean and new looking, Hayley explained that we were only the 6th set of guests to occupy the apartment since it became available.
The apartment was luxurious, clean, very well equipped and comfortable with stunning views. Couple this with the location which offers easy access in terms of arriving & parking up (no driving through streets which weren't designed for cars) and also the fact it is within range of walking everywhere.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
