You enter to a spacious hallway with solid walnut flooring and intercom entryphone. There is a useful area for hanging coats and leaving walking boots, as well as a door to a utility room containing a washer/dryer, iron/ironing board and airer.
As soon as you enter the living area you are struck by the panoramic views of Porthminster Beach and St Ives Bay through the floor to ceiling double sliding doors, these lead out onto a private decked balcony. The balcony has a table with six chairs and 2 sun loungers perfectly placed for you to sit back and enjoy the view. There are two matching cream leather sofas and you will be spoilt for choice when deciding the perfect spot to relax and take in the views. Alternatively take advantage of the excellent entertainment packages including a 40″ Samsung LCD TV with full sky package including Movies and Sports, Sony Music System with Bluetooth connectivity and complimentary WiFi. The owner have provided a pair of telescopic binoculars and tripod in case you fancy trying to spot a passing dolphin or one of the seals that make the bay their home.
The dining area is conveniently situated between the kitchen and living area, perfect for socialising with the chef who is busily preparing in the kitchen. A stylish circular table with four walnut dining chairs with leather pads provided for your comfort.
The contemporary kitchen comprises of cream high gloss units teamed with black granite worktops and splash backs, there is a spacious breakfast bar with 2 stylish purple leather high stools perfect for a morning coffee to plan the day ahead or perhaps a glass of wine whilst you chat with the ‘cook of the day’. This kitchen is well stocked with all the gadgets you would expect with an apartment of this calibre, there is an integrated Neff oven/grill, microwave, 4 ring ceramic hob, extractor fan, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The owners have taken care to ensure that you will have all the crockery, glassware and utensils you need as well as hand-held blender, full-size blender and Bosch (Tassimo) coffee machine.
A utility room can be found off the entrance hallway where there is ample space for storing beach gear and additional coats. A CDA washer/dryer, iron, ironing board and airer can be found here.
This bright and spacious bedroom is carpeted throughout and offers a beautifully dressed super king bed which looks directly out towards Porthminster Beach and St Ives Bay. Slide open the floor to ceiling double doors and walk out on the private balcony and enjoy an al fresco morning coffee or simply let the briny air flood in and feel yourself relax into holiday mode.
Furnished with a large built-in double wardrobe with ample hanging and shelf space, two bedside tables with matching reading lamps, chest of drawers, vanity mirror and chair. Bedroom One also benefits from its own en-suite bathroom with over bath shower and complimentary White Company toiletries.
Bedroom two is located to the rear of the property, the king size bed is beautifully dressed with luxury egyptian cotton bedding ensuring a comfortable nights sleep in this quiet room. A built-in wardrobe provides hanging and storage space. There are also matching bedside tables with lamps, a dressing table, vanity mirror, stool and 32″ LCD TV with Freeview provided for your comfort.
Carpet is laid throughout, with dimmable spot lighting, the second bedroom is conveniently located next to the family bathroom.
Luxury white egyptian cotton 600 thread count bed linen is provided in both bedrooms. A selection of high quality towels comprising of bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person.
There is also a hairdryer provided for guest use in each bedroom.
The spacious family bathroom is located off the entrance hallway, next to bedroom two. Comprising a bath with overhead shower, WC, large wash basin, chrome heated towel rail, a large mirror and shaver point.

The large decked balcony is accessible from both the living area and bedroom one via the floor to ceiling double sliding doors. Positioned above Porthminster beach with panoramic sea views across the bay to Gwithian.

"From the start I was impressed by the efficiency of the information given by Joey in helping to find the best apartment to meet our needs.
We found the directions very good and Hayley, the housekeeper, was punctual and showed us around well.
The apartment is stunning with magnificent views and is so well equipped. The standard of the bed linen, towels, etc is first class. We really did not want to leave. The balcony gets a lot of sun,even at the end of February. However it was overlooked by the hotel. We made good use of the Spa passes.
If you don't want to drive, the train is excellent. We used it to go to Penzance and Falmouth, where we ate at Rick Steins. They do a very reasonable lunch deal. The stroll down to St Ives takes minutes.
All in all, a very good holiday.
"We had a fantastic week at "The Boats". The apartment was lovely. We have stayed in the Peninsula Apartments a few times but this was our first stay in The Boats. We loved the access to the Harbour Spa too and visited almost every day.
As always Hayley was extremely helpful.
We had several lovely walks in both directions on the coastal path. St Ives to Carbis Bay for a stroll. Watched the seals playing at Carbis Bay. A brilliant week. We will be back."

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
