All of this, including on-site parking, is within a short stroll of the harbour, beaches and restaurants.
The open plan living area certainly offers the wow factor, with floor to ceiling windows boasting breathtaking panoramic sea views across the town and bay. A beautiful array of blue tones inspired by the view have been introduced into the luxurious interiors, including a comfortable blue corner sofa seating six. You will also find a wall mounted reading light perfectly positioned above the sofa for enjoying a peaceful read, that’s if you can take your eyes off the view. Sliding patio doors take you out onto a balcony where the views along Porthmeor beach, the Island, harbour and across the bay to Gwithian and Porthkidney Sands can really be soaked up.
Throughout this property, you will discover high ceilings giving an airy atmosphere, along with solid oak flooring.
The mezzanine television room is located above the open plan living area and is accessed via an oak staircase from the kitchen. A Fama contemporary sofa and ottoman can be found and views can also be enjoyed from this space via the cathedral height living area windows, which frame the town and harbour beautifully. A 40” LCD Freeview television, Playstation 3 with Blu-ray player and a selection of games and DVDs, Bose bluetooth sound link and complimentary Wi-Fi are provided for your entertainment. The suntrap roof terrace is also accessed from the mezzanine, along with an outdoor storage cupboard, ideal for storing all of your beach gear.
An oak dining table and six vintage Jacobsen Series 7 chairs are ideally positioned by the full width living area windows for enjoying fabulous sea views whilst you dine. Alternatively, why not enjoy an alfresco breakfast out on the balcony and watch the sun rise over St Ives Bay?
Should you decide to dine out during your stay, St Ives offers a wonderful selection of fine dining restaurants right on your doorstep. How about indulging in tapas at the Porthmeor Beach Café whist watching the sunset from one of their outdoor, heated booths?
For budding chefs, the kitchen at Prospect is a real delight, with pale blue bespoke units and a large island being the focal point of the open plan living area. Black slate work tops, a Belfast sink, ample storage and unbelievable sea views, truly make this a kitchen you will enjoy cooking in. There is a great range of appliances which you would expect in an apartment of this calibre, including fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, oven-grill and an inset induction hob. You will also discover a Dualit toaster and kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and ample utensils, crockery and glassware.
A separate utility cupboard can also be found within the open plan living area, where the iron and ironing board are stored.
Bedroom One with En-suite
The master bedroom is located to the rear of the property and is a lovely bright room, enjoying the afternoon sun. A comfortable king size bed is beautifully dressed with fresh white linen and scatter cushions and bedside tables with anglepoise lamps can also be found. Storage is provided within the chest of drawers and built-in cupboard and entertainment is provided with a 22” LCD Freeview television. You will also discover a vanity mirror and a hairdryer.
Located off the main hallway, next to the master bedroom, bedroom two offers a peaceful place for a good nights sleep. Twin beds, a double oak wardrobe with matching five drawer chest and bedside table are provided, along with wall mounted reading lamps, 22” LCD Freeview television, hairdryer and Velux windows with blinds.
Luxury white Egyptian cotton bed linen is provided in both bedrooms, along with a selection of high quality towels for each guest.
The family bathroom is located between the main hallway and open plan living area and offers a white suite comprising of a deep bath tub with shower overhead, freestanding basin and a WC. Fully tiled with neutral contemporary ceramics, you will also find a heated towel rail, mirrored cabinet with shaver point and vanity light and an additional storage shelf for all of your toiletries.
The master bedroom en-suite shower room is partially tiled with modern ceramics and provides a built-in shower with Mira power shower, freestanding basin, WC, infra-red operated vanity mirror with shaver point and additional shelf storage. Velux windows also allow natural light to flood in.
A selection of high quality towels comprising of bath sheet and hand towel are provided per person. Complimentary White Company toiletries are also provided in each bathroom.
Living Area Balcony
The large open plan living area balcony offers stunning panoramic sea views across Porthmeor beach, the Island and St Ives Bay. A Magis Air table and four chairs are provided for enjoying pre-dinner drinks, alfresco dining or simply just watching the comings and goings in the harbour below.
Bedroom One Balcony
The second balcony is accessed via the sliding patio doors from the master bedroom. Located to the rear of the property, this balcony enjoys the afternoon sun. A Magis Air table and two chairs are provided for your enjoyment.
Mezzanine Sun Terrace
The roof sun terrace is a great little spot which is usually out of the wind, perfect for enjoying the sun during the majority of the day. Accessed from the mezzanine level via a sliding patio door, you will also discover an outdoor storage cupboard, ideal for keeping all of the beach gear.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Prospect! The apartment was beautiful, the views were second to none and we had lots of space to relax in. We were really happy with the facilities at Prospect; with a young family we found the apartment offered everything we needed and we made good use of the kitchen, washing machine, tumble dryer and iron!!! We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment, the fresh clean linen and the luxurious towels. The location of the apartment was great, a few minutes’ walk to one of several beaches where we spent the whole holiday.All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Propsect and would definitely stay there again. We would recommend the property, the location and also Carbis Bay Holidays to family and friends and in fact we already have!"

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
