Truro involves the whole community in giving shoppers a truly wonderful Christmas shopping experience. Late night shopping in Truro is always a spectacle with food trailers and stalls spotted throughout the streets and plenty of mulled wine to keep shoppers spirited.

Enjoy Truro at night time with shops opening their doors to Christmas shoppers every following Wednesday until 9 pm. The late-night opening times include the Wednesday Farmers market, Boscawen street markets and Lemon Quay Fairs.

Charming markets in Cornwall pop up offering local produce and handmade Christmas gifts around this time of year. In Truro, Boscawen Street is at the heart of the shopping as well as the quaint Lemon Quay.

The Winter Gift Fayre

Lemon Quay will be hosting a winter market with 80+ stalls from all over the south-west that will feature quality gifts, food, drink and street food making your walkabout truly festive. Running over nine days and late night shopping evenings here are the opening times:

Falmouth Christmas Shopping

The seaside town of Falmouth really gets into the festive season offering a variety of events. This year there will be the debut of “The Falmouth Christmas Bus”, an open top double decker bus which will be on show at the Christmas lights switch-on, due to take place in front of hundreds of people at 7 pm on Thursday 29th November on The Moor.

Falmouth at Christmas is very lively with shops staying open until 8pm every Thursday from 29th November right up until the 20th December. With both the old and new high street being getting involved and plenty of restaurants to pop into on your shopping journey, head to Falmouth for some mince pies.

Falmouth High Street Christmas Shopping

Falmouth has a handful of big fashion stores such as New Look but the town shines when it comes to locally run, independent stores from art galleries, a fudge shop, outdoor wear and a good measure of surf stores thrown in. Following on from the colourful evening of the “light switch on”, the Christmas Bus will feature at various locations in the town centre between 5 pm and 8 pm on the Thursday late-night shopping evenings, and midday until 3 pm on Saturdays throughout December.

Penzance Christmas Shopping

This year Penzance has chosen “Christmas Trees” as their festive theme, the official Christmas lights switch-on takes place at 4:30 pm on Saturday 1st December, with a festive market, music and entertainment. The festive market will run from 11 am until 5:30 pm with a variety of stalls from arts and crafts to food. Market Jew Street will also host a Youth Market from Pop Up Penzance.

Penzance is a hub of creativity and full of artists has some lovely independent shops which will go all out to make your Christmas shopping experience a success. Late night shopping is until 8 pm on:
