“We were all very pleased with the property.”

A couple of things though; the coffee machine didn’t work as it only produced slightly coloured water. Also, there was no remote for the tv in the bedroom with the extra bed in it. A suggestion, perhaps if you have an account for Sky and/or other channels it will be beneficial to be able to log in, we couldn’t find that option. The property though is outstanding and if going to the area again it will definitely be our choice. Thank you.

“What a beautiful flat, with stunning views and incredibly well equipped!”

This had the feel of a 5* star hotel, with dream beds, all you would ever need in the kitchen and great spec bathrooms. All beautifully laid out too. Great location too, with everything in walking distance a perfect place from where to enjoy everything, this stunning area has to offer. We would love to come back and will definitely be highly recommending this to friends and family. Thank you for a truly great stay.

“We have thoroughly enjoyed our week here.”

The apartment is so well equipped, perfect for everything you need. The weather was pretty disappointing for this time of year, but thankfully the apartment was so homely, we were happy to spend time here, looking at the fabulous views. We had dinner at The Bean Inn ( we're all veggies). Food was fantastic but atmosphere left a lot to be desired. We look forward to trying other restaurants next time. We'll definitely be back. “I stayed at 7 Four Seasons and the Hideaway with my family (ages 2-70) in August, and we had an amazing holiday.”

The flat is spacious, beautiful and had everything we needed. It was very clean and felt luxurious. The location is perfect, with great views over Carbis Bay, a short walk to the beach, and so close to St Ives. There’s so much to do – we went swimming and body boarding locally, took the bus to Polgoon for wine tasting, spent a day at the Minnack Theatre, and saw Land’s End and Michael’s Mount. There were lovely restaurants close by and great fish and chips. I can’t recommend the flat(s) more, and I’ll be back next year!

“We really wanted to like this place.”

Unfortunately the place was filthy when we arrived - a deep clean was desperately needed with the drawers filled with crumbs and dirt, same for the tables and countertops covered. Half eaten food was left in the freezer. Most of the utensils were sticky to the touch or food coated, as were the place mats, which we left unused in the cupboard. It would have been nice to have a single dishwasher tablet or two provided, as capsules were for the washing machine. The sofa is extremely uncomfortable and old, as other reviews have said. It smells like vomit for some reason that I’d prefer not to think too hard about. It needs to be replaced. Much of the furniture is worn and needs repainting. The vibe of the place is a run-down dirty attempt at Versailles in a dodgy flat. Maintenance of the whole building is abysmal, given that the (only!) door to the whole building broke, trapping us inside and with any other residents. The number to call in the lobby didn’t answer. We only managed to escape the building after Googling the Sykes number online to get in contact with someone. If there had been a fire, nobody would have been able to get out. That said, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and the location is walking distance to St Ives. If you only stay there to sleep, it’s great.

“I would give the flat a big 5 out 5 for everything!”

We had such a wonderful stay at 7 Four Seasons and I could not fault this place. It is immaculate and tastefully decorated with everything would need and more - a home away from home. The kitchen, dining and living room areas are bright, airy, clean and a comfortable space for eating and relaxing. This same space looks out onto beautiful views across Carbis Bay. The property comes fully equipped with everything you need. We also hired the hideaway which is just across the hallway allowing us to accommodate all 7 of us. It was equally well equipped. Both flats are in the perfect location for Carbis Bay, St Ives and all the surrounding restaurants. A short walk from the flats are a good choice of lovely restaurants and favourites of ours were La Casita and Walters. The weather even held out for us and we had blue skies (most of the time!). Thank you so much, we can’t wait to visit again!

“Came again for the second year running and have already booked for next year!”

LOVE this flat, how convenient it is and how it has everything we need. Love Porthkidney beach and obviously Carbis Bay. Ate at The Watermill, La Cassita, The Gannet (best Sunday roast ever!), The Cornish Arms and The Badger. All very lovely. Had a massage at C Bay Spa @ Carbis Bay Hotel - very expensive but worth it. Only complaint, as the last person said is the sofa. Its quite uncomfortable and hard to get up from and not supportive. Apart from that - perfect. Thank you! See you in a year! X

“This is a superb property.”

Access is simple as long as you don't mind 2 flights of stairs. The bedrooms are very spacious, light and comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and the shower in the en suite is really nice (maybe swap the bath for a similar shower in the main bathroom?). As it's a top floor apartment it does get warm inside but there are plenty of windows to open and let the ocean breeze in. The views are stunning across Carbis Bay and St Ives with a really good sunset view too. The kitchen/living area was actually bigger than we expected so was a really good space with all the facilities you'd like to see. The Bluetooth speaker was easy to use and of good quality and the TV was large with access to many services such as Netflix etc. There are some faults with the window handles in the right hand bedroom but this didn't have an impact on our stay and was logged by Sykes straight away. We also had a problem with the main bathroom sink but again Skyes fixed it the same day with no impact on our stay. We stayed in June and there were seagulls nesting on the roof which were noisy in the morning but we actually quite liked checking on them each day, something to note though if you're a late sleeper. The only change I'd make is replacing the sofa in the living area. It's a great size but maybe has lost some of its comfort; also the modular set up means gaps can appear between the seats making it uncomfortable to sit on. This really is a minor point though but would make the apartment faultless in my view.

The light and airy open-plan living area sloped ceilings, eaves, and two patio doors leading out to the balcony, where you may enjoy a glass of wine while gazing out over Carbis Bay and its turquoise waters.

While your guests arrange the huge dining table, prepare an evening dinner in the well-equipped, bespoke kitchen with all the amenities, such as a large Belfast sink, wine chiller, coffee machine, and electric range oven.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead.
