    “Lovely, clean and quiet flat with everything you might need for a week's stay.”

    Might be a bit on the small size for four adults but plenty big enough for us staying as a couple. Off-road parking also very welcome.

Greenwood Apartment is a perfectly based, two-bedroom ground-floor apartment in Carbis Bay, just a short stroll from the South West Coast Path, St Ives scenic railway and stunning Carbis Bay Beach.

This perfectly-formed retreat is ideal for four guests, little families and friends seeking a getaway in South Cornwall.

Two pets are equally welcome.

With allocated off-road parking for one car, enter through the communal doors to your holiday home.

From the entrance hallway, the open-plan living space is a place to relax, dine and prepare a meal or two in the well-equipped kitchen.

The contemporary interior makes a welcoming space for gatherings around the table for breakfast and planning the day ahead.

After a day on the beach, enjoy your evening feasts recalling the day's adventures.

With two bedrooms, one with a double bed plus ample storage and the other a bunk bed room perfect for children.

Carbis Bay Beach boasts golden sand and azure waters with a seasonal lifeguard service, perfect for swimming or surfing in a picturesque Blue Flag status secluded bay.

Walk the South West Coast Path towards St Ives or the year-round pet-friendly Porthkidney Beach in the other direction, with a big sandy beach.

If you fancy a fun train ride, the scenic railway line hugs the coastline with beautiful ocean views.

St Ives is a fishing village with a pretty quay and an abundance of eateries, cafes and restaurants serving fresh local produce and seafood.

Browse the characterful cobbled lanes with independent shops, galleries and boutiques.

The town’s beauty has inspired many artists and is home to the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, which features work from many famous artists.

A short drive away, visit dramatic Land’s End or stop off at the Minack Theatre, carved from the cliff edge with the Atlantic Ocean backdrop.

St Michaels Mount, near Penzance, makes a great adventure, or visit one of Cornwall’s stunning gardens, from the sub-tropical paradise of Trebah near Falmouth or the tropical rainforest at the Eden Project, with its exciting canopy walkway.

Keep the children entertained at Flambards Theme Park in Helston or go wild at Newquay Zoo, or tamer times feeding the animals at Paradise Park near Hayle.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.
