“We were awoken by builders working below our bedroom windows who started at 8.”

00 in the morning, very annoying !! Loud banging, this was not mentioned at the time of booking and we would certainly not have gone ahead had we know this !!! At least this should have been stated with a reduction in price !! On previous visits there has been a welcome pack, a small gesture but nevertheless very much appreciated after a long and frustrating journey !! The entertainment system was frustrating to use and not intuitive, very fiddly and not use friendly.

“Excellent stay.”

It was the beginning of the heatwave when we arrived so fantastic weather. It would have been nice to have fans available in the bedrooms as it was very hot. But a lovely place very welcoming staff that we met on arrival and when leaving. We had booked for a family wedding. The couple picked a great venue. What a week. Thank you Great apartment.

“The property is beautiful and the views are stunning.”

It would have been nice to be informed that there is a building site next door when we booked as we may have chosen somewhere else to stay. We chose to get away for a relaxing week and the building site is very loud right by the windows of the property. Also as beautiful as the property is, for nearly £3000 a week then I'd expect it to perfection. There were a few tiny niggles like food left on the floor from the previous occupier, the light switches in the bedrooms sometimes work, the toilet holder had broke, the tvs are extremely small in the bedrooms. The place is amazing though and the apartment is very secure. Carbis bay beach is really nice.

“Great property and we all loved it.”

However, a few observations: - We specially requested 3 double beds and one room was two singles. - The en-suite room would benefit with a set of draws (space available under the TV). - The en-suite shower doors do not close fully. Apart from that, the apartment was brilliant and would definitely return.

However we do not appear to have received correspondence from yourself requesting the beds to be 3 double beds, it may be that the request was within 48 hours of arrival and therefore the housekeeper is unable to facilitate this at such short notice but we will investigate the reason why to ensure this does not happen again. “I would have said 10 out if 10 and we onky had 1 issue but it was fairly stressful at the time on arrival we had the gate code for the car park and the key code box however there was only a flat key in the box and no communal door code , therefore we spent 2 hours camped on the doorstep at midnight and copuldnt get in , finally after buzzing all the properties someone let is in only for us to find the communal door key inside the flat !”

We appreciate the care you take to furnish the property tastefully and provide all the necessary cooking implements. It couldn't be better done, really home from home. Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine?
