    “We had a lovely stay at Moonsail apartment in Carbis Bay, even better than we anticipated and had everything we required for a pleasant stay thanks.”

    Feedback: Torches had no batteries, maybe supply rechargeable torches. Patio doors from main bedroom would benefit from a deep clean around the frames as they are getting black mould growth. We couldn't find the recycle bags as they were not by No5 wheelie bin. Hope that helps and and thanks again for a pleasant stay.

The location is perfect for the beach and St Ives, so for those who like to take the 'self' out of self-cater, the local restaurants of St. Ives and Carbis Bay are within easy reach. This well designed common area is predominantly paved but has a number of planters with established shrubs.

Valley road is a quiet residential area of Carbis Bay so traffic is light.

There is a walk down through the delightful Carbis Bay Valley which takes you to the beach and the coastal path to St Ives or Lelant. Living Area Lounge Area Moonsail has a generous lounge area that is open plan to the dining area and kitchen.

It boasts two high quality leather sofas, one of which can be converted into a comfortable sofa bed if required.

There is a delightful view of the garden, and a door which opens out to both the front and rear terrace with table and chairs to sit out on.

To keep the young and not so young entertained, guests' will find an LCD TV with Sky+ package, Freeview and DVD player, together with an iPod dock, MP3 and CD player, DAB radio and a selection of board games. Dining Area The high quality oak dining table comfortably seats four people and a high chair is provided for younger guests'. You are rather spoilt for choice with the number of quality restaurants nearby.

Some do offer a takeaway service, such as the famous Beck's Fish & Chip Licensed Restaurant or you can prepare your meal at home and enjoy the comfort of your apartment. Kitchen Kitchen Moonsail has a high specification, contemporary kitchen area with integrated cooker, hob, microwave, built-in fridge, dishwasher, freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and everything else you would expect from an apartment of this quality.

Being an open plan living area means that you can spend as much or as little time in the kitchen without missing out on the plans for the next day's activities. The separate utility room houses a washing machine for your convenience along with a clothes airer, iron and ironing board. Sleeping Bedroom One with En-Suite The master bedroom at Moonsail has French doors which open out to the front terrace and garden.

There are high quality oak furnishings comprising a double bed, large wardrobe, bedside tables and chest of drawers.

There is an LCD TV with Freeview for your entertainment and a hairdryer is provided for your use. Bedroom Two The colour scheme of Moonsail's second bedroom compliments its garden view.

It has two single beds which can be converted to a super king bed on request.

Crisp white bed linen is provided in both rooms along with a selection of luxury towels for each guest. Bathrooms Bathroom One The main family bathroom of Moonsail has a high quality, contemporary white suite consisting of WC, large, luxury, walk-in power shower and a wash basin.

You will also find a heated towel rail for keeping your towels nice and toasty, a large mirror and a shaver point. Bathroom Two Moonsail has a beautiful en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom, boasting modern chrome fittings, a jacuzzi bath with shower overhead and is fully tiled.

Here you will find all that you need to relax after a day out exploring the Cornish coastline or visiting one of our many family friendly attractions. High quality bath sheet and hand towel are provided for each guest. Outside This gorgeous holiday home has more outside space than you would normally find with an apartment.

Guests' have the benefit of easy access to all three of these areas via the living area.

The master bedroom also has a door to access the front terrace and garden. Front Lawn Area The delightful garden is a superb lawned area in front of Moonsail. Front Terrace The covered front terrace is accessed from both the living area and master bedroom and boasts a bistro table and four chairs.

Enclosed Rear Terrace The private rear terrace is a real sun-trap and has a charcoal barbecue and a large table and six chairs for you while away the day or enjoy eating al-fresco.

The rear terrace is secure with a gate to the side of the property.

St Ives 2 miles ; Hayle 3.5 miles ; Penzance 8.5 miles

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.
