    “We have stayed in The Sands complex many times , this is the first time in Sky.”

Sky is a delightful, ground-floor apartment located in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, just a stone's throw from the coast.

Sky is the ideal seaside retreat for a family of four, featuring sophisticated décor throughout and showcasing stunning views of the sea.

In the open-plan living area, you will find all you need for a self-catering break, resting at your fingertips.

Switch on the Apple TV and start watching your favourite movie on the sumptuous, sofa.

Make your way to the well-equipped kitchen, which has contemporary, white units with integrated appliances, such as a dishwasher and a washer/dryer.

When a tasty dinner has been made, gather the family around the dining table and enjoy it over a bottle of wine.

At night, you'll find two thoughtfully laid-out bedrooms, one of which is a super-king-size and can be converted into twin beds, and the other of which is a king-size that has its own private shower room; both bedrooms have TVs so you can catch up on your favourite shows whilst snuggled up in bed.

Nearby, the bathroom offers a fabulous bath with a shower over, where you can relax your muscles after an eventful day.

When you want to soak up the sun, make your way to the rear terrace to enjoy a secluded sunbathing session on the loungers, or head to the front patio, a space enjoying access to the communal lawns and offering views of the distant St Ives.

Walk a short distance into the heart of Carbis Bay and discover a renowned beach that's filled with watersports and neighbours, a luxurious hotel with a spa, as well as a handful of wonderful amenities including The Bean Inn, The Cornish Arms and a well-equipped convenience store.

For some nearby, outdoor excursions, be sure to explore the local natural reserve of Steeple Wood, take the South Western Coastal Path to the picturesque Carrack Gardens, or go in the opposite way to Porthminster Point.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching.
