    “Internet is a bit Hit and Miss.”

    It was clean and comfortable and was a good base for our Holiday. Being a loft apartment the ceilings are a bit low so be aware when looking at it. However, a good place to stay for 2 people

The property

The Hideaway is a contemporary second-floor apartment in Cornwall's fabulous town, Carbis Bay.

The apartment is a great location for a romantic break, accommodating one canine friend, whilst being close to the beach, local amenities, and attractions along the Cornish coast.

Climb the stairs to the second floor of this lovely apartment building, where you can make yourself at home; sloping ceilings, eaves, and Velux windows provide a charming room, with white walls and minimal décor for a sophisticated finish.

Before a day walking along the coast, prepare in the open-plan living space with a hot coffee from the coffee machine, or set the dining table in the evening and rustle up an easy meal in the kitchen area, which includes a fridge with freezer box with mini electric oven combination with microwave and a two ring hob.

The Hideaway offers a Smart TV, Speakers, and a Playstation 4 for evening entertainment; host a game night or relax on the sofa with a movie.

Wake up in the light and airy king-size bedroom, which features plenty of storage space and a wall-mounted TV, ideal for lazy mornings spent under the blankets watching your favourite shows.

The Hideaway, located just outside of Carbis Bay's town centre, is a great place to stay for a self-catering holiday with necessary services nearby, such as a convenience store, restaurants, and friendly bars.

Pack your towels and sunscreen and head to Carbis Bay Beach for some sunbathing, reading, or, for the more daring, sea kayaking or paddle boarding.

It's simple to travel further afield from The Hideaway thanks to great rail and bus connections!

Visit the popular seaside town of St Ives for boat tours across pristine waters to Seal Island, stunning beaches along the gorgeous Cornish coastline, and amazing art in Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.

Historians should travel south to Marizion, where St Michael's Mount, with its magnificent mediaeval fortress and wonderful gardens, can be found across Mount's Bay, or stay in town for fish and chips on the beach and a stroll down the high street.

If miles of soft sand are your idea of paradise, head north to Gwithian for a selection of charming seaside cafés in a picturesque village ideal for wildlife enthusiasts; St Gothian Sands and National Trust Godrevy offer headland trails, breath-taking views of cliffs, and the 19th-century Godrevy lighthouse, which sits out at sea on an uninhabited rocky islet.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line.
