“I loved this property with amazing views of the sea and Carbis Bay from the lounge and main bedroom window.”

Walking down the garden path and directly onto the coastal path is an excellent advantage. All facilities provided and very comfortable. Would love to come back sometime.

“Fabulous property.”

The views are magnificent and Carbis bay beach is stunning. Just be warned it’s a steep walk down and back up to the beach but the train can take you in 5 mins to the more accessible Porthminster beach in St ives. Equally stunning. Just a few steps there!

Perhaps we were just lucky, but there were dolphins and seals to be seen most days - up to about 100 dolphins on one day. We would love to return

“We had a great week in this property.”

The views across Carbis Bay, with St Ives beyond and to Godrevy lighthouse are amazing! The property is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, a good sized lounge area and two great bedrooms and bathrooms. Given its fantastic location, with amazing, uninterrupted, views it does get hit by the weather (we stayed during storm ciaran!) which probably explains some small damp patches around the property. The shared porch area at the front of the property is fairly ’tired’, but once inside things are much better. (You shouldn’t be put you off staying as these are only minor observations on how this great property could be even better)!

4 Pentowan Court, which boasts an exceptional location within easy reach of Carbis Bay train station and with breath-taking views of Carbis Bay beyond, providing guests with spacious accommodations in the ideal location for a peaceful and memorable holiday.

Visitors are welcomed into the flat by an extremely spectacular open-plan living and dining area with a good-sized kitchen off to the side.

The living space is all about the sea vistas, with large picture windows designed to maximise the panoramic views.

This is the kind of place where you can imagine friends and family congregating to chat, catch up on each other's travel adventures, and take in the breath-taking scenery.

Enter the fully equipped kitchen, where you will find everything you need to prepare wholesome meals for the entire family.

When it's time to dish up, the dining table is ready for you to enjoy long, leisurely meals together.

Have a seat at the breakfast bar, make yourself a drink, and keep the chef company.

When it's time for bed, visitors can select between the exquisite twin bedroom or the master suite, which features a king-sized bed with a Vi Spring mattress, lots of storage, and an en-suite shower room.

You’ll also be in the ideal place for a day at the beach, so pack a picnic, or if you're looking for something a little more thrilling, choose from one of the many watersports that are very popular in the area.

Take a stroll into Carbis Bay to pick up any kitchen necessities, or if you don't feel like cooking, treat yourself to some classic fish and chips.

While you're here, visit nearby St Ives, which is a terrific place to spend the day with a tonne of independent stores, boutiques, galleries (including Tate St Ives), and restaurants to check out.

St Ives is around a 30 minute walk away, along the scenic coast path.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore.
