    “Treetops met all our needs, the views were quite spectacular waking up to the sunrises and seeing the sunsets over the bay was breathtaking.”

    Correcting another review the temperature could be easily adjusted via the thermostat in the kitchen. The access down to the property was tight, however we had two large vehicles and found no problem parking 3 vehicles. The shortcut down to the SW coast path was great which one way took us to St Ives at 15 mins and Carbis Bay at 10 mins walk. Recommend La Casita in Carbis Bay for genuine Spanish tapas and paella. We feel we need to address the communication at the beginning of the holiday, ...

We feel we need to address the communication at the beginning of the holiday, we received a message from the owners that we felt was rather threatening regarding dogs, asking us to not use the lawn and other restrictions finishing with a threat of a £50 fine if broken. If these were addressed before booking we may have thought differently about staying. The same language was used throughout the instructions in the handbook, even having a paragraph on self tan and makeup. For a relaxed holiday this communication needs to be looked at. So in the end the property was fabulous, the owners need to relax.

    Dear Mr Young I am glad you enjoyed your stay at Treetops and were impressed enough to give it a 5 * rating. I am sorry you found the tone of the messages threatening.. they certainly aren’t intended to be interpreted as such! The majority of our guests find a balance between feeling at home in Treetops whilst treating the house and its contents with respect and you are obviously one of these. Occasionally we have guests who do not. We do not charge for dogs where most other similar properties often charge up to £50 per dog and we wish to be able to continue with this policy. I would however like to commend you for having read the information pack.. very few people do. I hope you will return in the future.. I’m off to my meditation class now. Floor to ceiling doors and windows lead to a decked balcony with frameless glass balustrade providing breathtaking views of the North Cornwall coastline.

The full height ceilings with exposed oak beams and oak flooring combined with the contemporary corner white leather sofa seating five, large armchair and round swivel chair for two and statement wood burner add a touch of glamour to this luxurious home.

Guests can enjoy the 55” Samsung Smart LED TV with Sky HD+, a Blu Ray DVD player and Sonos sound bar for output from the TV or for playing your own music selection from your own device. Living Area Two The wonderfully spacious open plan living/dining area of Treetops can be found off the entrance hallway on the ground floor.

This huge room is the hub of the house with oak and travertine flooring, stylish furnishing, original artwork and floor to ceiling sliding doors which lead out onto the terrace, lawn and garden beyond.

The panoramic sea views are wonderful, across St Ives Bay to Gwithian and Godrevy lighthouse.

For your comfort there are two matching sofas arranged for guests to enjoy the views and the 42” Panasonic LCD TV with DVD player.

A sideboard and bookcase house a selection of games, dvds, local books, maps and local reference guides should be looking for inspiration on what to do and where to go.

A nest of side tables with a variety of lamps and dimmable spot lighting allow you to set the mood for the entertainment. Dining Area The dining area is situated within the downstairs open plan living space and is perfectly positioned for socialising with those preparing dinner in the kitchen.

Furnished with a large beech table with 8 rattan dining chairs and a matching sideboard.

The dining area is bathed in light from the surrounding windows and views out to the rear courtyard.

A contemporary glass and wood stairs lead up to living area 1. Access is provided to the rear terrace through a door to the side of the dining and kitchen areas. Entrance Hallway You enter this beautiful home, into a spacious hallway that allows access to all the other areas of this delightful house.

There are hooks for hanging coats and space for storing walking shoes or wellies after an energetic day exploring the beautiful beach and coastline on your doorstep.

There is a useful modern and spacious W.C with basin.

Access to upstairs via 14 stairs, a door leading to the Utility room and to the left and right doors leading through to living areas 2 and 3.

There is a large oak hallway table and chair which could be used as a desk or study area should guests want to catch up on their emails or perhaps write a few postcards. The Hallway, Dining area, Kitchen, Utility and W.C all have luxurious travertine tiled floors throughout, whilst Living area one and two have oak flooring and Living are 3 has fully fitted wool carpets. Living Area Three Accessed to the right from the hallway living area 3 offers a tranquil spot to enjoy the fabulous sea views through the full height double sliding doors whether you are seated in the leather armchair with matching footstool or relaxing back into one of the matching three seat sofas or armchair.

Take advantage of the entertainments package provided, including 32" Toshiba HD television with Panasonic Blu-ray player and a selection of dvds.

Alternatively enjoy watching the boats go by with the house binoculars or on a winters evening relax by the fabulous gas fire and curl up for a traditional board game with friends and family. A doorway to the rear leads through to Bedroom two which is en-suite with French windows to the rear terrace. Kitchen The spacious shaker kitchen with beech units and black polished granite work surfaces provide ample storage and preparation space.

The well stocked kitchen has everything you could require with a large Rangemaster gas range cooker with 5 gas rings including wok ring, two electric ovens plus warming oven, a grill, a hotplate/griddle and overhead extractor, American style larder fridge/ freezer, Panasonic microwave, a full size 14 place Proline dishwasher, a kettle, four slice toaster and a Dualit coffee machine.

The owners have taken care to ensure that you will have all the crockery, glassware and utensils you need in your luxurious home by the sea. There is a pine breakfast table provided with four matching chairs for enjoying breakfast or socialising with the chef of the day. Utility Room A separate utility room with a washing machine, iron and ironing table are located through a door from the kitchen and the hallway.

There are two high chairs and two travel cots ready for any smaller members of the family.

The utility room door opens out onto the rear terrace. Sleeping Bedroom One with En-Suite and Private Balcony Bedroom One is located off the first floor landing and benefits from spectacular sea views across the bay to Godrevy lighthouse.

This spacious room has luxurious super king zip which is dressed with Egyptian cotton linen and link bed which can be arranged as twin beds on request.

It has its own sea facing balcony and floor to ceiling doors with stunning views encompassing Godrevy Lighthouse, Porthkidney Sands and Hawkes Point.

There is a large wardrobe with drawers, shelves and hanging space, a 6 draw ottoman, matching dressing table and vanity mirror with contemporary chair, two matching oak bedside tables with lamps and carpet throughout.

An armchair is provided should you wish to relax and enjoy the views or perhaps step out onto the private balcony for a breath of fresh air. The perfect place to pamper is the indulgent en-suite bathroom.

Bedroom Two with En-Suite Positioned to the rear of the property and off the living room three this stylish ground floor bedroom boasts a king-size (5ft) bed, wardrobe with hanging and drawer space inside, two bedside tables with matching lamps, full length mirror and Lloyd Loom chair.

French doors provide access to the private rear terrace and allow the light to flood in.

There is oak flooring throughout with luxurious lined curtains framing the doors and allowing a peaceful night’s sleep in this quiet haven. Bedroom Two En-Suite Bedroom Two has the luxury of an en-suite shower room. Bedroom Three Positioned to the front of the property, bedroom three is located on the first floor and has a picture window to make the most of the ocean views.

This room also boasts a king size (5ft) oak bed which is sumptuously dressed in Egyptian cotton linen.

A cream leather armchair and matching footstool are provided for relaxing and taking in the magnificent seascapes. Bedroom Four The fourth and final bedroom of this beautiful home is located on the first floor again with fabulous views.

There are twin beds (3ft) and a wardrobe with hanging space, drawers and shelves.

There are two matching bedside units with lamps, perfect for reading a book at bedtime.

A Lloyd Loom childs chair is also provided along with curtains with blackout linings to ensure a good night’s sleep.

This bedroom is ideal for the younger members of your party. A hairdryer can be found in all four bedrooms. A hand towel, bath towel, and bath sheet are provided for each guest. The location of bedroom Two on the ground floor with en-suite and Living area Three could provide perfect accommodation for those members of your party who like to be able to have time to themselves as well as time socialising with the group. Bathroom Family Bathroom One The luxury spacious family bathroom is located on first floor adjacent to bedroom three and four.

The bathroom suite comprises a bath, large walk in shower with rainfall shower and handheld shower, wash basin, W.C, large mirror with vanity light, shaver point and two chrome heated towel rail.

There is wooden bench seat and useful storage under the sink. Family Bathroom Two Located on the first floor this spacious bathroom is easily accessible to bedrooms three and four.

The paved sun terrace in front of living area 3 has a large dining table that seats 8 along with a Weber BBQ should you decide to make the most of the Cornish weather and dine alfresco.

A lawn is laid to the front of the house perfect for the two sun loungers provided or perhaps a game of French Cricket with the family! The garden extends down several terraces and paths, some of which are laid to lawn and other are gravelled.

Throughout the expansive and interesting garden are a plethora of plants that thrive in the mild Cornish climate and a variety of seats for you to rest and relax whilst enjoying the views and the quiet surroundings. Children should be supervised on the steep steps and terraces. Rear Terrace The sunny rear terrace can be accessed directly from bedroom 2, the kitchen and the utility room.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching.
