Living Area

This beautifully furnished room is framed with the doors and window allowing the light to flood in. There is access to the private balcony with stunning views across the bay to Godrevy Lighthouse and the north Cornwall Coastline. Two contemporary sofas arranged with coffee table for guests comfort to enjoy the 55” Smart UHD 4K TV with Sky “Variety Package” with TV Box Sets and DVD player with selection of dvds. A selection of reading lamps are provided for you to set the perfect mood. Sliding doors open out to the south facing terrace with table and four chairs with rattan bench, creating an indoor/outdoor space where you can enjoy an alfresco drink or dinner.

Dining Area

Sociable open plan kitchen/ breakfast bar and dining area, Seating 6 at the glass table with matching acrylic chairs, the table is a great spot to sample some of the delights of Cornwall cooked up by your nominated chef or plan your day.

Entrance Hallway

When entering this stunning apartment, you are greeted into a welcoming hallway where there is a coat rack for hanging coats and a large cupboard with ample space for walking boots and beach gear. As well another cupboard containing washer/dryer, Iron/Ironing board and airer.

13 carpeted stairs lead from the hallway upstairs to Bedroom One and Two. The ground floor of this stunning duplex apartment has Amtico flooring through out. Gas Central Heating throughout and Air Conditioning is provided for guests to find their optimal temperature.

Ithaca benefits from an integral, multiroom music system with speakers in every room and bathroom, enabling guests to enjoy Internet radio, as well as music stored on their own smart phones and tablets. To access and control the system, guests will need to download the free ‘SONOS’ App for Android/IOS mobile devices.

Kitchen

The contemporary kitchen comprises of cream SieMatic units teamed with granite work tops and burgundy splash backs. It is suitably appointed with an integrated Neff oven/grill, microwave, 5 ring ceramic induction hob, extractor fan, full size dishwasher and extra storage space in the separate upright Fridge and Freezer. The owners have taken care to ensure that you will have all the crockery, glassware and utensils you need in your luxurious home by the sea. For coffee lovers, you are sure to enjoy the Tassimo coffee machine which uses the convenient pod system.

Bedroom One

Bedroom One is also located on the top floor to the rear of the penthouse and benefits from stunning views of St Ives Town, Harbour beach and the Island through the galleried windows. There is a king size bed which is sumptuously dressed with oversize feather duvet and White company linen. There is a wardrobe, two bedside tables with reading lights, two low level four drawer chest of drawers and full length mirror. A table with two armchairs are provided for guests to relax and enjoy the 32″ Freeview TV or views.

Bedroom One benefits from a spacious en-suite.

Bedroom Two

Bedroom Two is a spacious retreat for guests, this bright airy room has a super king zip and link bed which can be arranged as twin beds on request. There is a large wardrobe, full length mirror, two bedside tables and matching lamps and two low level four drawer chest of drawers providing ample storage space. There is a 32″ Freeview TV provided for your entertainment. Two velux windows have views of the house where Virginia Woolf once resided and Tregenna Castle and have been fitted with blackout blinds allowing you to let the light flood as well as enjoy a peaceful nights sleep.

Bedroom Two benefits from a spacious en-suite.

Bedroom Three

Bedroom three is located on the ground floor to the rear of the property and has a large triple window with views to a large Macrocarpa Cypress tree which offers privacy but allows the Cornish light to flood in. The king size bed is dressed in luxury White Company Egyptian cotton bedding and oversize duvet smoothing the way to a comfortable nights sleep. A double mirrored wardrobe, two bedside tables with lamps, and a chest of drawers are provided for your comfort. There is a 18″ LCD Freeview TV with DVD player.

Bedroom 3 is conveniently located next to the family bathroom.

Luxury White company Egyptian cotton bedding is provided in all bedrooms with a bath sheet and hand towel high quality towels for each guest.
A hairdyer is available for guest use in each of the bedroom.
All the bedrooms have Amtico Flooring throughout and blackout lined blinds.

Family Bathroom

The family bathroom is located on the ground floor off the hallway next to Bedroom Three and convenient for the living areas. It is tiled throughout with bath and overhead shower enclosure, WC, wash basin, Storage cabinet, chrome heated towel rail, large demisting mirror and shaver point. There is a large window allowing natural light to pour into the Family Bathroom and a Venetian blind is provided for your privacy.

En-suite to Bedroom One
The en-suite bathroom, located upstairs is tiled throughout with large shower enclosure with rainfall shower, WC, wash basin, chrome heated towel rail, mirror cabinet with storage.

En-suite to Bedroom Two
The en-suite to bedroom two benefits from a walk in rain shower, wash basin, illuminated mirror with storage, shaver point, chrome heated towel rail and WC.

A selection of high quality towels comprising of bath sheet and hand towel are provided for each guest. Complimentary White Company toiletries are also provided in each bathroom.

Balcony

The south facing full-width decked balcony is a perfect sun-trap and is enviably positioned within Gallinas Point to benefit from stunning views across St. Ives Bay. A table with 4 chairs and a rattan bench are provided for you to enjoy the view in comfort.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrival and Departure dates for your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.

For late notice breaks i.e. arrivals within 7 days, breaks can overlap a changeover day only if the overlap occurs within the next 7 days.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available in most properties between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.

Christmas in Cornwall is a wonderful time from twinkling festive harbour lights to Santa arriving by lifeboat in St Ives, it’s a holiday filled with a stocking full of memories that will last a lifetime.  If you prefer a pre-Christmas break December is full of festive fun too with Christmas markets to explore and fun activities like ice skating, meeting Santa and of course Christmas shopping.

Book early and our magical elves will deliver festive treats for stays which include Christmas Day. This has been known to include scrumptious mince pies and Cornish Mulled Cider. Yeh!
