The open plan living space comprises of the living area, dining space and kitchen. Lovingly restored, this one-bedroom apartment has kept the features of the original Victorian house, high ceilings and beautiful bay windows. Natural light floods through the large windows making the whole space light and airy and highlighting the artwork theming the room. The view from all the living space is spectacular, a panoramic scene of St Ives, including the harbour, island and beaches. Take a seat in one of the two comfortable leather sofas, pour a glass of wine and watch nature at its best. Relax watching your favourite DVD on the 32” smart TV or enjoy listening to music from the digital radio.
The dining area sits perfectly within the living area bay window, offering guests a fabulous view whilst dining. The vintage table seats two for a romantic meal in. Should you decide to dine out during your stay, you are truly spoilt for choice with an outstanding selection of restaurants right on your doorstep, serving freshly caught seafood.
The kitchen is located at the rear of the living space. It’s open plan design is perfect for two, allowing you to socialise while preparing meals.This well-appointed kitchen has an integrated Neff oven, Russel Hobs electric hob and microwave, slimline dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and extractor. The modern kitchen units offer lots of storage Space. A good supply of utensils, glassware, crockery and cutlery gives this luxury coastal retreat a home from home feeling. A Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine is also provided for that perfect cup of coffee.
The bedroom is located at the rear of the apartment with a double bed to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. A window allows natural light to flood in making the room light and airy. Beautiful coastal artwork gives the room a peaceful and relaxing theme. A mirrored wardrobe offers plenty of hanging space and two bedside tables with lamps and three drawers are also provided. After a busy day exploring or paddling in the sea you can cuddle up on the bed enjoying your favourite movie on the wall mounted TV.
This luxurious bedroom also features a private en-suite.
One half of the mirrored wardrobe has a washer/dryer and an iron, ironing board and airier are also provided. Everything you need in your luxury home by the sea.
The en-suite shower room to the bedroom comprises of a wet room with rainfall shower and handheld shower head. A large mirror with featured lighting is ideal for preparing for that special night out. The fully titled space also has a wash basin, WC and a chrome heated towel rail. Special low level lighting has been installed to help your eyes to adjust at night and stop bright light disturbing you or your partner sleeping. A granite shelf provides additional space for storing toiletries. Underfloor heating has been installed for your comfort.
The shared terrace is situated to the front of Tate Reach and can be accessed through the front door of the building. A bistro table and two chairs are provided, in an area cordoned off just in front of the front door, for guest of Hepworth Apartments. Ideal for enjoying a coffee with a view
In the front terrace, a communal shower can be found, perfect for washing off sandy wetsuits or muddy boots. There is also a lockable store on the side of the house for surf boards or bikes. A selection of complimentary beach items are provided for guests at Tate Reach to enjoy, including body boards.

Tate Reach is a magnificent, granite faced, detached house positioned just behind the Tate St Ives and Porthmeor beach. The names of both of the apartments were inspired by two famous artists who had great connections with St Ives.
Whistler is named after the famous American born, British based artist ‘James Whistler’ who visited St Ives in April-May 1884 and stayed in nearby Barnoon Terrace. Wallis is of course named after the well renowned local naïve artist ‘Alfred Wallis’, who’s progressive work, was appreciated by other St Ives artist colony greats such as Ben Nicholson and Kit Wood.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrival and Departure dates for your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks i.e. arrivals within 7 days, breaks are discounted by up to 20%, the dates can overlap a changeover day only if the overlap occurs within the next 7 days. Please note these reductions only apply to weekly bookings.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
