Wooden shutters frame the sea view beautifully and complete the relaxed, by-the-sea atmosphere which flows through the spacious open plan living area, so whether you’re cooking, dining or relaxing you will benefit from this wonderful Cornish vista. A neutral palette and artwork of coastal paths hanging on the walls offer a relaxing holiday vibe, pour a glass of wine, cosy up on the relaxing corner sofa and comfortable armchair, to fully accommodate the whole group, and soak up the views or relax watching the television with Sky movies. Alternatively, slide open the balcony doors, step out onto your seaward facing balcony and enjoy the breath-taking panoramic views across Carbis Bay.

Dining Area

The open plan kitchen and dining area form part of the living space, benefiting from its sea views through the patio doors, and ideal for socialising with those preparing meals. A dining table with six chairs offers a wonderful setting for dining in with a sea view.

The contemporary kitchen is fully fitted with modern kitchen units, spacious worktops and a large breakfast bar with two leather bar stools, for socialising whilst preparing the meal. Take a seat and start the day with a Cornish breakfast watching the ocean. This hi-spec space is well-appointed with all the latest integral appliances including a Neff cooker and gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher. Other items include a toaster, kettle and a coffee machine, everything required for your stay.

Both comfortable bedrooms are located to the rear of the apartment.

Master en-suite bedroom

The master king-sized bedroom benefits from a private en-suite shower room. Lit by natural light from a window, this peaceful space offers a sumptuously dressed bed, bedside tables with lamps, double-mirrored wardrobe and vanity console table. Wooden shutters provide a classic finish to this peaceful room.

Bedroom Two

The second bedroom is furnished with twin beds, there is plenty of storage provided with open hanging space, drawers and reading lights.

Family Bathroom

The fabulous, spacious family bathroom has been beautifully tiled with sandstone ceramics, the fittings are sleek chrome, the sanitaryware is white Italian design. A WC, washbasin and a bath with a shower over bath can be found, along with a mirrored cabinet.

Bathroom Two

The en-suite to the master bedroom is also furnished in the same superb contemporary style with a feature wall of textural sandstone tiles. A washbasin, WC, shower enclosure with overhead shower and a shaver point is provided.

Complimentary White Company Toiletries are also provided in each bathroom.

Decked balcony with sea views

The decked sea view private balcony is accessed via the patio doors in the living area. A rattan cube outdoor furniture set with four matching chairs offers the perfect setting to dine alfresco or enjoy drinks watching the sunset over the ocean. A glass balustrade protects you from the wind and blue lighting provides a restful ambience in the evening. The communal gardens of The Sands in front of the apartment have been laid to lawn and carefully designed with shrubs and trees.

The Sands

The Sands Apartments are a prestigious development of contemporary apartments of various designs, ideally positioned to maximise the views across St. Ives Bay and convenient for the Blue Flag accredited Carbis Bay beach.

The delightful single line rail connection is perhaps the most scenic rail journey in the UK, linking St. Ives to Penzance. Nearby is the the South West Coastal Path which extends around Cornwall, locally you can enjoy the stunning coastal scenery along the pathways to St Ives or to Lelant and Hayle.

Availability for Bright Wings

Calendar View and Table View for reference are shown below, the latter shows pricing for the property.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrival and Departure dates for your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.

For late notice breaks i.e. arrivals within 7 days, breaks can overlap a changeover day only if the overlap occurs within the next 7 days.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available in most properties between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
