"Spacious and comfortable apartment with amazing views over Carbis Bay. We enjoyed just looking out of the window and watching the seals. The apartment was spotless, the bathrooms are well equipped and the bed was comfy even though we would have preferred a king size and there is plenty of room to accommodate a larger bed. The location is excellent, so peaceful and quiet yet easy enough to visit St Ives either by train or by taking a pleasant walk. Loved the cream tea on arrival, many thanks."
"This was our second stay in this well-furnished and well-equipped property. It’s quality would be hard to surpass, it has wonderful views and in a secure location. That’s guaranteed. The weather is not!"
"We have stayed twice at Celeste the location is amazing , the view is stunning we never tire of it. Well equipped spacious flat. Welcome from the housekeeper was helpful.
We would recommend this flat for a family friendly holiday all year round."
"What an absolutely stunning apartment, as we documented in the guest book, no expense clearly spared, spotlessly clean... We have never stayed in carbis bay before, usually stay in st Ives at gallianas point, but the stunning views from the apartment at carbis bay, added to the beautiful week we had... Lots of coastal walks, also found the train very handy and picturesque when traveling on it... We ate out at the lifeboat inn, the mermaid fish restaurant, the castle, pells and many more.. I have nothing but positives to say about the apartment, the service and booking with carbis bay holidays always efficient and helpful..."
“On entering Celeste our immediate reaction was "Wow"!! It provided us with absolutely everything, nothing had been overlooked and as far as cleanliness was concerned, we couldn't fault a thing. The decor of the apartment was outstanding, so much so that I would ask you, if it would be at all possible, to contact the owner and enquire where he/she purchased the furnishings, as I am very interested in buying the same for myself.”
"We had a fantastic time in Celeste and loved everything about it, every detail was thought through, the standard was excellent. We all had a superb time and will most definitely be back soon."
"We had a fantastic holiday at Celeste, the whole experience from placing the booking through to staying at the accommodation was excellent. The facilities and space within the apartment was great, and the views were fantastic."
"We loved Celeste: it was very well appointed and furnished with a perfect venue, the accommodation was excellent, and certainly rivalled anywhere we have stayed in Cornwall in the recent past. We particularly enjoyed eating at The Shack on the beach – great wine, nice easy food and the best ever location with the sea lapping pretty much at our feet. Amazing!"
"We were both delighted with every aspect of our stay at 'Celeste', from the apartments location, the presentation of the property on arrival, the scrupulous cleanliness, comfort and standard of conveniences plus fittings and of course and not least the efficiency of your booking system"
"Celeste was spotlessly clean, with all the home comforts we needed. It was great that buckets, spades etc were provided, and the children loved the PS2 on the one rainy day we had. Thank you for the lovely cream tea for our arrival after a very long journey! The lounge was spacious and the bedrooms were too. Basically loads of room for us to move around in with all our stuff! Staying in Carbis Bay is ideal for a family, as you have the beach on your doorstep, but also the excellent train service to St Ives, which we used most evenings to eat out. We love the Seafood Cafe."
"Celeste was excellent - with comfortable and relaxing accommodation. We 'discovered' Kynance Cove (National Trust) & great for walkers - plenty of parking. Also - Porthleven - we really enjoyed our lunch at KOTA-KAI restaurant (Beachfront café). Absolutely greattasting food with an Asian twist. Next visit we must try KOTA -main restaurant, open only in the evening. Porthminster Café -always reliable."
"Fantastic views across the bay. The Tate and Barbara Hepworth kept us amused on the rainy day, but we had good walks from Carbis bay past St Ives on the coast, and from Sennan past Lands End. As national Trust members we also enjoyed St Michael’s Mount. The accommodation had plenty of space and all the conveniences we could have wanted. I enjoyed the Sky package- those little extras make a difference on a rainy Cornish day! "
"We had a lovely week in Celeste apartment it was very clean well equipped and the sky package was a bonus. The area was quiet and very safe with the added advantage of fantastic views. Being near to the train station into st ives meants you do not need to worry about parking which can be difficult. The best place for a special meal is still porthminster cafe in all the years we have been going the standards are still very high. Our favorite place in the whole of the far west is porthcurno beach and the walk to porthgarra is picture perfect. Try to get tickets for minnack theatre we have watched some fantastic shows there the most memorable one being macbeth one cold dark evening in september, it really added to the atmosphere ! Digby cafe is also woth a mention the food is great, its also a good deli for picnics."
"We had a wonderful Easter Break at Celese, couldn't have been better. The apartment was amazing, roomy, stylish, incredible views, easily the best apartment we have
stayed in so far. Wonderful cream tea awaiting us on arrival plus milk and gorgeous local produce!, thank you so much, a really lovely touch. I would highly recommend a visit to the Minack Theatre, Porthcurno, we loved it there, lovely cafe, amazing views. The coastal walk to St Ives is always a must do and also we made full use of the train to St Ives. We had two fab evening meals at Cafe Coast overlooking the harbour at St Ives and really enjoyed the shops at St Ives."
"We had a lovely time in Carbis Bay, primarily due to the beautiful Celeste apartment, the standard was excellent with a fantastic view of Carbis Bay. During our time at Carbis Bay we walked the coastal path to Lelant, a true delight. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at Celeste for a fabulous time in Cornwall."

"Our holiday at the Celeste apartment was fabulous. The apartment is huge and felt really luxurious while being homely at the same time. Views are amazing and the sky tv to all rooms was a real treat for our kids – they asked why they couldn’t have it at home!"
"We again had a fantastic time in Carbis Bay at Celeste. Perfect for a New Year break. Two new experiences for us this year was a wet and windy walk from Mousehole to Lenora Cove and back followed by a drink in the Ship Inn at Mousehole. When we came out of the pub all the Christmas lights were on. Magical. Closer to home Al Fresco in the centre of St Ives ws excellent for lunch."
"We loved the apartment it was much bigger than we expected and was of such a high standard. The weather was lovely and we never tired of looking out at the fabulous view. Our favourite restaurants were Porthmeor beach cafe, Hobblers and Rhubarb coffee shop in St Ives."
"We had a fabulous time in Carbis Bay! The apartment was spectacular, especially the amazing view. It was extremely clean and the little touches, like the white company shampoo etc were lovely. We also were extremely impressed with the space. We loved the Porthminster restaurant in St Ives, and the best pasty shop ever is the St Ives bakery opposite Cath Kidson!! "
"We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Celeste. It was a stunning apartment and we hope to make a return visit next year."
"We had a great time and the weather was kind to us. The service, standard of accommodation and cleanliness were all top drawer. The area was lovely... a walk along the coast path to the Badger for Sunday lunch, before wending back the same way was a pleasure, as was a train ride into St Ives to dine at the Seafood Cafe on the last night."
"We were met on time and the key handover worked to perfection. The apartment (Celeste) was in spotless condition, all the facilities were exactly as you’d stated on the website, all in all a perfect break."
"We were both very pleased and impressed with the standard and presentation of Celeste - it's certainly a place we would look to return to in the future, and there are not many occasions when I can genuinely say that!"
"We again had a great time in Carbis Bay. Celeste was a lovely apartment. It was clean and well fitted. We managed to eat out at BLAS, Porthminster Cafe and the Watermill in Lelant. All to be recommended. On New Years day we went for a walk to Godrevy lighthouse, stunning"
"We had the most amazing short-break at Celeste last week. The apartment and its position is out-standing. The view from the lounge was just to die-for. Admittedly we had fantastic weather and spent nearly all of our 4 days on Carbis Bay beach, but even if the weather hadn't been good, the fact that the apartment had everything you could wish for and more, it wouldn't have mattered."

"This is the second time we have stayed in Celeste apartment, we find it ideal – a really high standard of accommodation that has been maintained, highly convenient to walk to the beach or train to catch to St Ives and with a view to die for! We just love it, it is so comfortable with all the conveniences of things one would have at home. We love the area, took our teenage children to Lands End and Truro – ate out twice at La Casita Italian restaurant up the road, really nice food reasonably priced, and enjoyed an excellent bistro meal at The Hub on the harbour front in St Ives. Carbis bay beach is spotless. All in all, a totally relaxing holiday and we will return! "
"We enjoyed every single minute...the sun shone the sea was blue the sand was white....Celeste was a haven...tranquil and calm....very clean, lovely soft furnishings, great kitchen ( l love to cook) and the showers certainly woke us up in the mornings...and all i wanted to do was sit at the window and watch the sea...the teens loved the wifi..and sky tv....all in all we had a lovely week just being a family. We will be back!"
"Many thanks to you and the owners of Celeste for providing us with the perfect accommodation for a wonderfully relaxing holiday – the accommodation was truly 5 star and we loved the layout and spacious feel of the apartment, with what has to be one of the world’s best views and we are not exaggerating!!"
"We would like to say a massive thank you for our week in Carbis Bay, it was beautiful. There is nothing that we can fault regarding the accommodation, the apartment was very clean and had everything that we could want for our week. The location was great with lovely views across Carbis Bay and St Ives. The value for money was brilliant and we felt spoiled being there."
"The Apartment was spotless and the view over Carbis Bay was stunning. As on our previous visit to Carbis Bay the service we received from Carbis Bay Holidays was exemplary and we hope to book again next year."
"I believe this was our third stay at Celeste in the last 12 months and for us it was just like home from home. It is good to see that the high standard of cleanliness has been maintained and we will certainly consider staying at Celeste again in the future."
