Designed with luxury in mind, this impressive fitted kitchen has high gloss beige units with LED lighting, accompanied with off white work surfaces & a chic glass splash back. Boasting clean lines, soft colours and elegant finishes, all bathed in natural light from two huge bay windows stretching across the living room with breath-taking views across Carbis Bay Beach & St Ives.

Enjoy preparing dinner at the island with the most incredible coastal views and the company of guests sat at the two bar stools. If you love to cook this well-appointed kitchen offers everything you require and more. Appliances include; a Bosch four ring electric hob with extractor above, built in fan assisted oven with grill, Bosch microwave, Bosch dishwasher, fridge/frezzer, Kenwood kettle, two slice toaster, 3 in 1 Smoothie maker, Bosch washing machine & Miele dryer. A comprehensive selection of utensils, crockery and glassware is also provided.

Dining Area
The dining area is perfectly positioned within the open plan living & kitchen area, boasting a large window seat, framed by amazing coastal views over Carbis Bay. A domed pendant light hangs over a grand wooden dining table with chic leather grey chairs, comfortably seating five. Should you decide to venture out for dinner in Carbis Bay, the surrounding area has a wide choice of quality restaurants, modern and traditional pubs as well as several places to obtain take-away food as well as the famous local “John Beck’s locally caught Fish & Chips”

Utility Room
There is a separate utility cupboard within the inner hall which houses a airier, iron and ironing board.

Living Room

From the moment you enter the large open plan living space, your eyes are immediately drawn to the dramatic coastal views from Carbis Bay beach, St Ives, the Godrevy lighthouse and beyond. Framed by a huge bay window and a window seat stretching the width of the room. The relaxing atmosphere of the room is wonderfully characterised by metallic touches of gold & silver running seamlessly alongside a palette of neutral tones of beach grey & cream. Chic dark framed furniture contrasts against clean finishes complimenting ethnic accessories.

For your complete comfort, there is a plush L shaped sofa seating five with retro reading lamps and two very stylish tables.
If you can peel your eyes away from the breath-taking coastal views, you may wish to relax & enjoy your favourite film on a 40″ Samsung TV with blu ray DVD player sitting in a huge velvet swivel chair and matching stool in which we defy you to stay awake.

As well as an informative “Welcome Guide” packed with information about the locality, you will also find information on gardens, maps, walks, a selection of games, books and DVDs. The 100 years+ West Cornwall Golf Club is less than two miles away and the Carbis Bay Hotel accommodates visitors for their spa & luxury treatments.

Hallway
“Golden Heights” has a unique hallway, the space is bright with beached grey flooring & retro mirrors. Furnished with two luxurious chairs and foot stools providing a wonderful separate games space for teenagers or for simply gazing out of the floor to ceiling windows watching the world go by or reading your favourite novel.

Master Bedroom

The chic master bedroom is characterized by layers of contrasting textures, colours and soft blended hues to give a fresh, clean Scandinavian inspired feel. The room has a beautifully dressed king-size bed, retro style black reading lamps, matching gold reading lamps, dresser with vintage vanity mirror above & a luxurious velvet stool below a built-in wardrobe with hanging space for clothes and overhead storage.

Master Bedroom En-suite
The en-suite comprises a modern walk-in shower with rainfall shower overhead and hand held attachment, WC, wash basin with mirror lite above and shaver point.

Bedroom Two
The Scandinavian inspired décor flows into this vibrant space, carefully chosen fabrics, patterns & striking colours all make up for a very glamorous atmosphere. Matching twin beds, chic bedside tables, matching reading lamps, built-in vanity unit with a retro mirror above, leather stool, hair dryer and a wardrobe with clothes hanging space and shelving. The twin beds may be converted to a huge double bed via zip and link.

Family Bathroom
The spacious family bathroom is elegantly decorated throughout with charming colours & stylish accent mirrors.The contemporary freestanding bath with mixer tap & hand held shower takes centre-stage offering a perfect place to retreat & enjoy quite relaxation. The room includes a walk in shower enclosed with a glass screen, WC, large wash basin with a mixer tap, good storage underneath and a large tall heated chrome towel rail.

Master Bedroom En-Suite
The Master bedroom’s private en-suite is tiled throughout and boasts a spacious shower with rainfall shower head & hand held shower attachment, enclosed by glass screen, WC, large wash basin, back lite mirror, shaver point and heated towel rail.

A selection of luxury towels comprising of bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided for each guests and White Company toiletries are available in all bathrooms.

Communal Gardens
Beautiful communal lawned gardens at Gwel Marten are available for guests to use and benefit from the stunning views and access to the South West Coastal Path and Carbis Bay beach.

Gwel Marten Apartments occupy a superb position on Headland Road at Carbis Bay. With dramatic views along Carbis Bay beach across to St Ives and Godrevy Lighthouse in the other direction.

The apartments are a short walk away from the Blue Flag Carbis Bay Beach and also convenient for the short train ride into St Ives renowned for its necklace of 5 superb beaches. Also the apartments are adjacent to the South West Coast Path, you can enjoy the stunning scenery along the cliff walk to St Ives or to Lelant and Hayle. A convenient and comfortable base to explore the many delights of Cornwall.

These 4 star and 5 star apartments are furnished and fitted to a high standard having shared use of the terraced gardens and lawn to the front of the development and enjoying spectacular views of St Ives Bay. Allocated parking is provided for guests.

Availability for Golden Heights

Calendar View and Table View for reference are shown below, the latter shows pricing for the property.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrival and Departure dates for your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.

For late notice breaks i.e. arrivals within 7 days, breaks are discounted by up to 20%, the dates can overlap a changeover day only if the overlap occurs within the next 7 days. Please note these reductions only apply to weekly bookings.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
