"Another annual amily visit to Island View bites the dust and the apartment is still excellent even in misty weather when the million dollar ocean view cant be seen. Love our time spent here :)"
"We loved our Easter holiday at Island View. The location is excellent, being a short walk to both the beach and the train station. But the best part is probably the amazing view from the huge picture window! This is enjoyed from the kitchen-lounge-diner. The availability of the garden is no doubt great in the summer (a bit chilly this Easter, but great to be able to jump down to the coastal path from the back-gate). The standard of facilities is also good. Would love to return."
Lovely to return to this amazing apartment and stunning views! We were very lucky with the February weather and im sure we will be back again.
A lovely holiday, facilities excellent, perfect location, immaculate accommodations. Thank you so much.

Loved this apartment and the stunning views, it is the best self-catering apartment we have ever stayed in and we would love to come back.
Haven’t been to Carbis Bay for many years, thought we should revisit our favourite place on the south coast. We have stayed in many apartments in this bay. This apartment beautiful, relaxing, cosy and had everything we could possibly need. Had a sticky problem with a bathroom door which was fixed within half hour, that is fantastic service. What a view from the window seat, fantastic. Photos don’t do this place justice, the weather was warm, no rain! We will be back again in the future.
Such a special week, beautiful setting and lovely walks into St Ives. Very relaxing with everything you need on your door step. We don’t want to leave, thank you for everything, memories to last forever.
Wonderful apartment, fantastic views, relaxing garden, very convenient train service for getting into St Ives don’t need anything else, fabulous!
Lovely apartment, lovely views and great location. Really enjoyed our week in Cornwall.
Loved the apartment, so clean and well kept. What a treat! Lovely walk to St Ives and coastal paths. Has everything you need. Thank you.
Wow! Wow! Wow! What a fantastic apartment, everything we could have wanted and more. Fantastic views loved the window seat and binoculars! St Ives brought back memories we had so many holidays here as a child. Great places to eat, Seafood Café, Firehouse, and the Seafood restaurant. Thanks for a great holiday, we will be rebooking as soon as we get home.
3rd Time Staying - stunning views
Fantastic location with beautiful sea views.
Walking distance to Carbis Bay beach and St Ives harbour along the peaceful coastal path.
Apartment felt very clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed and more. Everything available was excellent quality and felt very luxurious.
One bedroom has an ensuite and the other links to the main bathroom so it is very private if staying with others.
It's the 3rd time we have stayed here and have already booked in our next stay. Can't wait to visit again.
Super high quality apartment
High quality apartment that is great for rest and relaxation. The previous reviews paint a better picture of the apartment and its vast range of facilities than I can . The ease of access to the coastal path, the stunning ocean views and proximity to the train station were all as described and the apartment met every expectation from the publicity photographs.
There are ongoing demolition/re-building works on the plot next door but during my stay 14/7/2017 to 21/7/2017 there was little activity and little disturbance but that could well change as the building works get underway.
If your mobility isn't great and steps are a challenge to you I would recommend that you seek further advice in relation to the stepped access from the car parking area off Headland Road and the stepped access from the apartment to the coastal path
"We stayed at Island View in Carbis Bay from 1st July-7th July 2017.
Fabulously finished to a high standard, Perfect location with great vista. Splendidly clean and fresh with facilities to match a 5 star hotel. We would highly recommend staying at Island View and hope to return again."
"We had a beautiful one week stay at Island View in Carbis Bay. The apartment was spotlessly clean with very modern technology throughout and has been decorated beautifully. The view from the huge window in the main living area is absolutely incredible and we spent a lot of time sitting in the window seat looking out to sea and enjoying the views. The apartment also has a large patio area that looks out over the view, a beautiful garden and direct access onto the coastal footpath which is ideal for people who enjoy exploring and walking. Another bonus of this apartment is that it's a few minutes walk to the train station which takes you straight into St Ives and a short walk to Carbis Bay beach and the surrounding restaurants.
I would highly recommend this apartment and we can't wait to return."

"We visited beautiful Carbis Bay last September and were fortunate enough to stay in Island View. The property had been very tastefully refurbished and has a spectacular view across the bay and towards St Ives. We visited with our son and his fiancée and the apartment was more than adequately furnished for four adults, with en suite and main bathroom. Everything was very high standard and catered for all our needs. Sit in the window seat and gaze out across the fantastic vista, watching the sea change colour and the lights of St Ives at night. The train station is an easy 5 minute walk away and the Coastal Path runs at the bottom of the garden for a steady and beautiful walk to St Ives or a longer walk all along the coast to Hayle. We definitely hope to return soon."
