"We had a lovely holiday.
Everything was great.
It’s a lovely apartment and spotlessly clean and tidy.
Karen the caretaker was there to meet us as promised and was very kind and helpful."
“We had a lovely visit at Men an Tol, we couldn't fault the apartment what so ever, The apartment was amazing, very clean, The decor was superb and the attention to detail was impressive. We very much appreciated the bottle of bubbly, milk and apple juice that was left for us, we thought that was a very nice touch. We felt very comfortable and very 'at home' my 9 year old son loved the Playstation in his room!. It seemed that there was no expense spared and you (or owners) are obviously looking at the bigger picture, having complimentary sky, wifi is just the start, the towels were luxurious, so too was the bedding, even the saucepans and crockery were quality, this certainly makes a huge difference to your stay, and most definitely exceeded our expectations, None of us wanted to leave! We would (and already have) told all our friends how impressed we were with the accommodation and would have no hesitation in recommending your company. The booking process was easy and clear, the housekeeper was waiting to greet us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome, it seemed that nothing would be too much trouble.”

“Men an Tol property was really well presented and clean with all amenities in excellent order. Carbis Bay is a great location in close proximity to the train station which I would highly recommend for getting to and from St Ives town albeit the short uphill walk. Changeover was a smooth process with the housekeeper. All in all a comfortable and pleasant place to reside after a long day travelling/sightseeing.”

"We enjoyed our holiday as before, when we stayed at Men An Tol. We liked the welcome touch of the cream tea, fruit juice and chocolate buttons for our grandson which we found in our fridge. As always the view was superb and we would definitely recommend the apartment to friends in the future."

"We loved Men an Tol. It was all very good quality and spotlessly clean, also a very quiet location. I couldn't fault it really. We ate out a couple of times at The Bean Inn which was very nice, we had lunch at Spinacios on the St Ives harbour front which was very good. Coastal path walks were lovely, we enjoyed from Mousehole to Lamorna Cove, and back along an inland path. Recommend the Penlee Gallery in Penzance - excellent collection of Newlyn School painters. Also Leach Pottery & Hepworth museum."

"Just wanted to let you know we had a fantastic Christmas stay at Men An Tol. utterly perfect., we love the apartment, it is so beautifully decorated, kitchen fully equipped with lovely brand new appliances and crockery, love the welcome pack!!! Everything makes us smile about Men An Tol. Everything about the place means comfy, luxury and makes you feel special. Great to have some many relaxing seats to choose from in the evening or relax in the jacuzzi bath with a book! The view is out of this world and it is a real pleasure every morning waking up and seeing what the weather is doing over the bay and if there are any dolphins or seals. We love the convenience of being able to walk to St Ives along the coast path but also explore the south coast, only a short drive away when the north is blown out. Penzance and Treen are favourites of ours. You get the best of all worlds. It certainly makes us feel very free and rejuvenated after a break at Men An Tol. Can't wait for our next visit."

"We absolutely loved the apartment, spotlessly clean and every facility we could ever need. Everything about your organisation was spot on. We visited the Watermill twice and found the food excellent as was the service. The Brewers Fayre at Hayle was also surprisingly good, cheap and cheerful but with good service. Pels on the harbour in St. Ives was good for daytime snacks and we went to the Gourmet fish and chips in St Ives, the train ride into St Ives was good, so easy and obviously no parking problems."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Men an Tol and it exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed with the facilities Ordinance Survey maps, books, DVD’s, local information, Sky TV, magazines, games – everything to make the holiday complete. The welcome was excellent, so friendly and informative and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Good bus and train services meant we could leave the car and visit St Ives without the hassle of finding a parking spot. Local restaurants were excellent. Highly recommend La Casita, Becks, on the St Ives Road . If you enjoy live music and a great atmosphere then the Kettle ‘N’ Wink in St Ives is the place to go. The Balnoon Inn near Trink is worth the short drive or, in our case, cycle ride for the Cornish Knocker alone. Carbis Bay beach is very clean and much more peaceful than St Ives or other local beaches."

Very enjoyable. We really love Carbis Bay and hope to be returning later in the year."

"Everything exceeded our expectations. We found the apartment was lovingly decorated and sparkling clean with sea views just to die for ! Being keen walkers, we loved the many coastal walks on offer including the walk into St.Ives, The Lizard and Lands End. St.Michaels Mount is a 'must do' , steeped in history and beauty. Must mention Porthminster Cafe for good food. "We had a lovely stay at Men an Tol. The accommodation was equipped to a very high standard. We walked from the apartment to St Ives one day and to Hayle on another day. We had a lovely coffee at the Salt restaurant in Hayle and had a lovely lunch at Scarlets winery at Lelant, the tapas were delicious and the wine to accompany the meal was even better!!"
