    “We have been coming to this apartment for nearly 16 years.”

    We have already booked for next year. Nothing beats waking up to the sounds and sight of the sea. The flat is light and warm and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. There is plenty of storage for a two week holiday and there is little noise from other apartments. Being able to walk out on to the decking is great we are already looking forward to our next visit.

The large decked terrace is directly above the garden from which a path leads down to the beach through the well-kept gardens and private gate.The decking is partially covered allowing you to enjoy the views from outside at all times of the year.Why not enjoy breakfast on the terrace or in the evening, watch the fabulous sunset over St. Ives and the Bay.Or just lie back and relax in the comfort of a reclining Kettler sun lounger listening to the soothing sound of the waves.

The patio doors from the living area and master bedroom open out onto the decked terrace, from where dolphins and seals have been spotted larking about in the glistening sea.

St Ives 2 miles ; Hayle 3.5 miles ; Penzance 8.5 miles.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore.
