Ideal for a romantic break for two or a family of four, it's just a short walk to the beach, St Ives scenic railway and convenient for bus routes to St Ives. Comfortably sleeping four, plus an infant, with a spacious open plan living space, finished to the highest quality, it offers the perfect base for a Cornish coastal escape.

Access

  • Access from the front of St Margaret's is level with the main lobby. From the lobby its down two flights of stairs to the apartment or via a lift.
  • Access from the rear car park into the lobby is on the ground floor. Lift access from lobby to all floors, alternatively one set of stairs to the apartment.

  • Guests are provided with one allocated parking space to the rear.

Large patio glass doors frame a lovely valley view that flows throughout a spacious open plan living area, so whether you’re cooking dining or relaxing you can enjoy the Cornish vista. Step outside onto your large private glass-fronted terrace, breathe in the sea air and listen to the sound of the stream running below, and soak up the distant sea view through the trees. Inside, a large comfortable sofa with a built-in chaise and a comfy chair provides seating for four, sit back and enjoy the entertainment on the television.

Dining Area
The dining area is well-positioned within the open plan living space, ideal for socializing and benefiting from its view. A contemporary glass top table with four matching chairs offer a fabulous setting for dining in or alternatively enjoy dining alfresco on your private terrace.

The contemporary kitchen is part of the open plan living space, ideal for socialising with those preparing meals, and benefiting from the views through the living area patio doors, take a seat at the breakfast bar with stools and enjoy a coffee chatting with the chef.
This high spec space features a selection of integrated AEG appliances including an oven & grill and microwave, 4 ring induction hob with extractor hood above, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. A kettle & two-slice toaster and even a wine cooler, essential for any holiday, are all provided. There is plenty of storage space in the kitchen units which also house a comprehensive selection of utensils, crockery and glassware.

Utility Rooms
There is a large double door utility cupboard in the hallway housing a Beko washer-dryer, iron and ironing board and an airier.

Master en-suite Bedroom

The king-sized master bedroom benefits from a private en-suite shower and easy access to the seaward-facing terrace. Natural light floods the comfortable space, through the balcony glass doors, making it light and airy. Step out onto the glass-fronted balcony from the bedroom and enjoy a Cornish alfresco breakfast in the sun. A beautifully dressed king-sized bed, a matching set of bedside tables with lamps, a wardrobe, and a hairdryer are all provided for your comfort. You can enjoy your favourite movie in bed via a 43″ smart TV.

Second Bedroom
The second bedroom is fitted with a double and single bed offering a variety of sleeping options. Like the Master, it also offers easy access onto the glass-fronted balcony through patio glass doors. Natural light beams in through here and they beautifully frame the valley and sea views in the distance beyond. Bedside tables with lamps make up the rest of this calming space.

Family Bathroom
Featuring grey high gloss tiles throughout with a stylish pearly white suite, this modern family bathroom is a great place to relax. Sink into the bath with shower over and glass screen, and soak away your troubles. A WC, large washbasin with under storage, mixer taps & mirror above, heated chrome towel rail & shaver point make up the rest of this space.

En-suite to Master Bedroom
The Master bedroom’s private en-suite is tiled throughout & boasts a spacious modern shower with large shower head enclosed by a glass screen, WC, large washbasin with ample under storage, chrome heated towel rail, shaver point and mirror.

A selection of luxury towels comprising of bath sheet and hand towel are provided for each guest and complimentary White Company toiletries are available in all bathrooms.

Seaward facing terrace
The spacious glass-fronted seaward facing terrace, the largest at St Margaret’s, is accessed from the living area and bedrooms via patio doors. Offering elevated beautiful valley views and sea glimpses through the trees, relax on the Wooden arc hammock and soak up the sun or take a seat at the rattan glass-topped table with chairs, or two additional chairs, the perfect spot for enjoying drinks at sunset, or breakfast overlooking the tranquil Cornish valley.

St Margaret’s

St Margaret's Apartments are situated on St Ives Road on the old site of St Margaret's Hotel. This stunning development is perfectly positioned to enjoy panoramic views across to Gwithian and Godrevy Light House.

Completed in 2018, there are 13 apartments over 4 floors and have been built to a very high specification with underfloor heating, sliding doors to balconies, integrated appliances and oak flooring throughout. All apartments have lift access and private parking.

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrival and Departure dates for your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.

For late notice breaks i.e. arrivals within 7 days, breaks can overlap a changeover day only if the overlap occurs within the next 7 days.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available in most properties between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
