"Initial thoughts are you get a secure parking area behind a keypad operated gate. Easy access to an excellent apartment. The view from the lounge is straight out the patio window and you see the sea and St Ives - stunning. It's a great 2 bedroom apartment, in walking distance to the beach and train station. We keep coming back each year."

Our 3rd visit to this lovely apartment. Stunning views from balcony. Never tire of walk into St Ives along coastal path. Hope to return very soon.
Our third Christmas here, lovely as always and thank you for the tree and decorations at such late notice.
We had a lovely time going on walking, seeing seals and dressing up for NYE in St Ives. Although Madison was grumpy at being beaten in a game of Bananagrams
Lovely apartment, everything you need to relax. Great views. Julie is a super lovely lady.
Fantastic time, beautiful place and loved the spa passes. I loved seeing the seal at Godrevy, thank you.
Our 2nd stay in this lovely apartment. Really enjoyed our week here and the location was perfect for us. Thank you
"We enjoyed Silver Sands, it was clean and comfortable with wonderful sea views, and it met our expectations. We especially enjoyed being able to catch the train into St Ives and had a very good lunch at the Porthmeor Beach Café. We also enjoyed an excellent cream tea at Rosemurgy Farm near Morvah on the road to Lands End."

"This is the second time we have stayed in this Silver Sands and the standard was as high as ever, everything was spotless and the apartment is exceptionally equipped. We made a suggestion last time we were there about a blind in the main bedroom and we were very impressed to find that this had been done on our return. Nothing is too much trouble and the service from booking to the end of the holiday was faultless. We caught the bus to Penzance and walked to Mousehole through Newlyn which is a very nice walk also the walk from Penzance to Marazion is flat with beautiful views."

"We had an excellent stay at Silver Sands. Carbis Bay train station is very close to the apartment and it's only a few mintues to St Ives along the coastline, much easier than driving there and trying to find a parking space. Whilst staying at Silver Sands we visited Kynance Cove, the Minack Theatre and the Bedruthan Steps. We also ate at plenty of good restuarants, including the Badger Inn (along the road from the apartment in Lelant), Cherry Trees (Padstow), Manning's (Truro)."

"Thank you, once again for a great property. Clean, bright and very suitable for an elderly person with limited mobility. the membership of the Carbis Bay Hotel Spa was a bonus, as we had the discounted afternoon tea and I made use of the pool several times."

"Our holiday was fantastic, we have stayed at The Sands in a different apartment before but Silver Sands exceeded that one, it was exceptionally clean and the furnishings were of a good quality and well looked after. The service from booking to collecting the keys from the housekeeper was faultless. We went to Truro and walked the coast. We will definitely be back."

"We had a great holiday in the Silver Sands apartment and found the facilities provided and cleanliness were excellent. The welcome touches such as the cream tea and milk in the fridge really were a thoughtful and welcome touch. We had a couple of meals at La Casita at the top of the road and found the standards of food and friendliness of the staff excellent. We used the train several times to get into St Ives and found this really easy and obviously much better than trying to find a parking place in the town."
L. Cotchie
"We had a great week in Carbis Bay and St Ives with dry, sunny weather for most of the time and we enjoyed all the opportunities presented by the St Ives Festival."
M. Morrish
"We were very pleased with Silver Sands, ideally located, wonderful view and spotlessly clean. Restaurants we would recommend are Mount Haven Hotel above Marazion, The Scarlet Hotel near Bedruthan Steps, the cafe above the beach by the north carpark at Sennon Cove, Zizzi's in Falmouth."
R. Cheetham
"We had a wonderful week's holiday at Silver Sands. The apartment was beautifully clean and we really appreciated all the little welcoming touches left by Julie, the housekeeper - especially the Easter egg, scones and clotted cream! The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Our two-year old daughter slept brilliantly well in the travel cot in the second bedroom and loved eating in the high chair provided. The fact that the apartment was on the same level as the carpark made access to and from the apartment really easy, even with a pushchair. We really enjoyed day-trips to the Eden Project, St Michael's Mount & Kynance Cove. In terms of toddler-friendly activities, we had a great time at Paradise Park in Hayle, meeting penguins close-up and feeding the goats and sheep. The Play Zone soft play area just down the road in Carbis Bay was also good for a rainy morning."

"Silver Sands is fantastic and it was good to be back there (We were the first ever guests, according to the Visitors book!). We can recommend a couple of places to eat - the new Pizza Express in St Ives was very good; we also enjoyed Fish and Chips at the Balancing Eel - top place. We also had a great day out in Falmouth, which exceeded our expectations, plus Godrevy Point - there were around 100 seals on the beach around from the lighthouse - absolutely awesome. Good beach cafe up there too. We also dined at the new Italian at the Atlantic Hotel. Excellent food, nice people and family friendly."

"We enjoyed our holiday at Silver Sands very much. We loved the apartment, which was very clean, comfortable & well appointed, we enjoyed the lovely view from the window, watching the boats in the bay. We had my parents with us who are both 88 & not very mobile, but they managed very well with the easy access into the property. We visited the Tate, Trengwainton Garden which is nearby & the Eden Project, all of which were very enjoyable. We particularly enjoyed meals at La Casita and The Badger at Lelant (they do a good carvery)."

"We had an excellent stay at Silver Sands, it was one of the very best apartments we have stayed at and we come to the St Ives area at least once or twice each year. The service from Carbis Bay Holidays was very good, friendly and efficient. The apartment was exceptional in cleanliness, specification, bathrooms, position, view, and hi tech in that it has wifi. Best restaurants- Porthminster Beach cafe (on the beach-fish and chips 1/2 price of restaurant and just as good), Porth Gwidden Beach Cafe -excellent food and view, Blas Burgers-food excellent and creative and ambience really friendly, relaxed and innovative-love it!"

"We really had a great stay in Silver Sands and Cornwall. The apartment is fabulous and of high quality. It was spotlessly clean on arrival. It was a nice feeling to come back to this beautiful apartment in the evening after a busy day of sightseeing. The walks we really enjoyed were to Zennor Head, Gurnards Head, Godrevy Point, Hells Mouth, Kynance Cove to Lizard. Pendennis castle at Falmouth is worth visiting as it offers fantastic views. The same goes for St. Michael´s Mount. We also enjoyed Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan very much. Our recommendations for restaurants would be La Casita at Carbis Bay and The Badger Inn. Both offer very friendly service and good food especially La Casita. Thanks for offerring this wonderful apartment."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Silver Sands in Carbis Bay. The apartment was lovely, very clean and well equipped. We loved the walk from Carbis Bay to St Ives and found the train was very useful too to save taking the car to St Ives. It was quite a bargain for the 4 of us travelling together as we could use the Groupsave fare of £4 for the 4 of us for a return journey. It was fun to be in St Ives for November 5th, and to watch the fireworks on Porthminster Beach. We also enjoyed trips out to Lands End, the Minack theatre and the Lizard peninsula. Restaurants we particularly enjoyed were the Seafood Cafe & the Porthminster Beach Cafe, and we also had a superb lunch at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen at Watergate Bay, about 45 minutes drive away."

Then we opened the curtains!!!!!!!!! the view ............Amazing!!"
