Elanora takes its name from the aborigine for 'home by the sea' and it has been aptly named, this stunning first floor apartment at Barepta Cove in Carbis Bay has floor to ceiling windows in the living area and french doors in the master bedroom that showcase the panoramic views of St Ives Bay. You are a short walk from the beach and have direct access onto the coastal path so that you can explore this beautiful stretch of Cornish coastline.
This bright first floor apartment has been stylishly decorated with thoughtful provision made to make this a home from home. Sit back in one of the luxurious leather sofas and gaze at the seaside scenes before you wander onto the balcony and enjoy an alfresco drink.
Upon entering Elanora the stunning views of the sea and surrounding coastline greet you through the floor to ceiling windows. The hallway has wood flooring which is laid throughout the living areas of the apartment and there is a large cupboard for the washing machine and tumble dryer and useful storage for wellies, walking boots and coats.
The large combined living and dining area is bright and airy with fantastic views of the sea and bay. The sliding patio doors provide access out onto the balcony which has a bistro table and two chairs for you to find the perfect spot to gaze at the stunning views across St Ives Bay to St Ives town and Island. Alternatively you can use the telescope and tripod and try to spot seals or dolphins in the water. This stunning seaside holiday home offeris luxurious contemporary interiors and is ideally situated for short strolls down to the award winning Carbis Bay beach.
Enjoy the fantastic entertainment package provided whilst relaxing on one of the two luxury leather sofas. Entertainment includes a 55″ 3D Smart HD LED television with Sky package including Movies & Sport which sits on a taupe gloss unit, complimentary wireless internet, a Panasonic wireless flat panel sound system that allows you to play CD’s and music from your own device using Bluetooth or a USB, in addition to providing access to a wide variety of DAB radio stations, there is also a Playstation 4 with two controllers and a selection of games. To help set the perfect ambience, a floor standing lamp, a table lamp and pedestal fan are provided.
The dining area is within the main living area perfectly positioned next to the kitchen to allow you to enjoy the fabulous sea views whilst socialising with the chef. A Calligaris extending ceramic dining table with four matching leather chairs provide comfortable dining for relaxing indoors and a sideboard and magazine rack house a selection of books, board games, local area maps and guides.
There are a further 2 leather dining chairs in the bedrooms and 2 chairs in the kitchen should you have dinner guests and choose to extend the dining area.
The contemporary kitchen has a large open window into the living and dining area allowing you to take in the amazing sea views and to socialise with friends and family whilst cooking up a storm. There is also a window to the rear flooding the kitchen with natural light, with a Venetian style blind provided for your privacy.
The modern white gloss, soft close units and black granite worktops provide ample storage and preparation space. Integral appliances comprise of an electric oven/grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, full size dishwasher and gas hob with extractor above. You will also find a Russell Hobbs digital coffee machine, Dualit toaster & kettle, Breville hand blender and toasted sandwich maker, electric hand food mixer, Morphy Richards slow cooker and a whole host of crockery, glassware and utensils. There is also a bistro table with 2 dining chairs perfect for a quick bite or a morning coffee.
The washing machine and tumble dryer are in a large cupboard in the hallway.
The spacious master bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom and is luxuriously furnished with panoramic sea views from the comfort of your bed. Double doors and a Juliette balcony allow you to take advantage of the wonderful views and let the light and briny air flood in.
A sumptuous king size bed, mirrored bedside tables with reading lamps, Calligaris chair, a dressing table with Calligaris mirror and stool provide stylish surroundings for a memorable holiday. A double-mirrored wardrobe with hanging storage. Blackout curtains and voiles ensure you have all you need for a restful night’s sleep and there is a fitted carpet. A 40” HD LED Smart television, clock radio with home hub bluetooth dock also provided for your use.
Located to the rear of the property, the second bedroom of Elanora has two single (3 ft) beds, which can be arranged as a super-king (6ft) zip and link bed upon request. There is matching bedroom furniture consisting of two Calligaris bedside tables with lamps, a 3 drawer chest of drawers and a glass console dressing table with mirror. A double-mirrored wardrobe provides ample hanging space and you will also find a venetian blind and blackout roman blind, carpeted floor, a 40” LED HD Smart TV television and clock radio with home hub bluetooth dock.
Luxury white egyptian cotton 600 thread count bed linen is provided in both bedrooms. A selection of high quality towels comprising of bath sheet, bath towel, hand towel and flannel are provided per person.
There is also a hairdryer provided for guest use in each bedroom. There is a complimentary subscription to Netflix allowing you to access cartoons, films, series and documentaries from all the televions within the apartment.
The family bathroom provides a Hansgrohe shower with large enclosure, WC, large wash basin with storage underneath, heated towel rail and a backlit mirror with shaver point.
The en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom is beautifully spacious and offers a white suite comprising of a bath with overhead shower, WC, twin wash basins with storage underneath, a chrome heated towel rail, large mirror and shaver point are provided.
A selection of high quality towels comprising of bath sheet, bath towel, hand towel and flannel are provided per person. Complimentary White Company toiletries are also provided in each bathroom.
Seaward Facing Balcony
The decked balcony can be accessed from the living area through sliding doors and the spectacular views take in Carbis Bay beach below and right across the across the bay to St Ives harbour, Gwithian and Godrevy lighthouse. A bistro table and two chairs are provided on the balcony for alfresco dining and relaxing.
The peaceful communal gardens are situated to the front of the development and provide access down to the private gate which leads directly onto the coast path. A shower can be found within the gardens, ideal for washing off sandy wetsuits or muddy boots.
Barepta Cove Apartments are situated on Headland Road on the old site of the Tregorran Hotel. This stunning development is perfectly positioned to maximise the views across Carbis Bay beach (formerly known as Barepta Cove) and towards St Ives.
The railway station is just a short walk away, this single track line is probably one of the most scenic in the UK and links St Ives to St Erth, Penzance and mainline stations. The Blue Flag beach is closeby and the apartments have direct access onto the coastal path via a private gate at the bottom of the communal gardens, providing outstanding panoramas of the Cornish coastline.
Completed in 2014, there are 14 apartments over 4 floors and have been built to a very high specification with underfloor heating, sliding doors to balconies, integral white goods and oak flooring throughout. Some apartments have lift access and each apartment has allocated parking and a balcony or terrace. Guests also have use of the communal gardens and a designated disabled parking bay is available on a first come first served basis.
Notice of Building Works:
There are building works for new apartments in the plot next to Barepta Cove Apartments. Contractors are onsite and work will be carried out during weekdays and Saturday mornings but will cease for the rest of the weekend and bank holidays. They are seeking to keep any noise to a minimum. (10/07/2017)

This was our second stay our last was in the summer, this time we stayed over the new year period and had an amazing stay, the apartment is finished to a very high standard and there is everything you could ever need, even a tape measure!!! (we had an argument about who was tallest)
We loved watching the seals (we spotted 6!) using the telescope from the warmth of the lounge, we could also see right into St Ives, and the view from the sofa's out to sea is so relaxing.
Would highly recommend, we will be back!

It was only a short walk to the station when we didn't feel like walking into St Ives. I like to cook and was pleasantly surprised to find there was everything I could need. Even bakeware so I could make my own cakes and Cornish cream tea. Elanora is a very stylish and comfortable apartment, the pictures really do not do it justice. The quality of the furniture and furnishings is second to none. We will definitely be back!"

Fantastic views over St Ives with the glistening water in the Bay made for a relaxing and reviving weekend away. We even managed to sit out on the balcony and enjoy Al fresco sunset drinks!
The apartment is well equipped for self-catering, although we mainly visited the local restaurants during our short stay.
Easy access to the cliff walk and only a short distance to stroll to St Ives along the beautiful coast line path. The train line runs close by for those who don’t wish to walk there and back.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
