"We holiday in Carbis Bay twice a year during the winter months. Previously we had stayed at Carbis Beach Apartments for many years. This year we decided to try Barepta Cove and what a great decision it turned out to be. We could not have been happier with the everything about the apartment.
Spacious, clean, well equipped, good parking and what must be the best view in the bay. We were so pleased with Kittiwake that we have already booked two fortnights during 2018.
As usual the booking experience with Carbis Bay Holidays was first class. The greeting from Hayley and the treats on arrival were much appreciated.
We arranged a linen change for the middle Friday and this was done seamlessly while we were out.
We can recommend the Sunday lunch at The Pedn Olva, The Firehouse Grill and Caffe Pasta. We also enjoy a walk to Lelant for lunch at The Badger or The Watermill."

"Firstly can I thank you very much for a wonderful stay in 'Kittiwake'. The apartment was out of this world and we cannot wait to return. Please can you pass on our thanks to Hayley the housekeeper whom made us feel extremely welcome when we arrived and provided us with a greeting which many 5* hotels should adopt - a lovely way to start the holiday. Many thanks again for a wonderful holiday."
"I have been coming to Cornwall regularly for 50 years but this is the most peaceful and beautiful place I have visited so far. The view and the colours of the sea and sky are memorable and Kittiwake provides a perfect base."
"Wow what a superb apartment. Beautifully appointed with a fantastic balance of style and comfort. Even in the depths of winter we’ve been warm and cosy watching the storms go by. The views are stunning and we’ve had the most wonderful stay here."
“A fantastic apartment with breathtaking views across to St Ives and Godrevy. A perfect home from home. We will definitely be back to Kittiwake again.”

“We had a great week. Kittiwake offers high class accommodation and a view that is hard to beat. Sitting in the lounge you feel like you are on an ocean liner (we do lots of cruises) with nothing but the sea and an uninterrupted horizon. Booking, cleanliness and customer service met the standards we expect from Carbis Bay Holidays – this was our 4th stay in one of your properties.”
“Great location close to the coastal path, the station and the beach and very comfortable. We have enjoyed a fantastic week”
"We had an absolutely fantastic week at Kittiwake and have booked for next May, which is probably all the testament you need as to how much we loved the property. The view was second to none and the accommodation itself was beautiful, light, spacious, clean and very comfortable. We settled in very quickly and certainly didn't want to leave. Restaurant recommendations-same every year; Porthminster Beach café on the terrace! Perfect. We also tried the Lifeboat Inn on the harbour at St Ives and found it to be a really decent place for good, reasonably priced 'pub' food. St Andrews Bistro is also recommended. The walk from Carbis Bay to St Ives is a firm favourite and has stunning views. The addition of the decking on Carbis bay beach where you can enjoy a glass of wine and snacks is a real positive and means you can enjoy the beach in a little more comfort. Thanks again for a lovely holiday and compliments to the property owner(s) for creating a beautiful space with lovely interior design."
