Apartment Aquamarine has a spacious lounge with two comfortable sofas, Sony Android 43″ Television with Sonos Playbar and Netflix, Blu-Ray, DVD, Video, Sony Playstation 2 and Xbox 360 Elite. An iPod loaded with many albums of different genres is provided to help you create the perfect holiday mood, whether romantic, reflective or party atmosphere. An iPad loaded with interactive travel guides (restaurants; attractions; activities; maps; timetables etc), photos, and TV iPlayer as well as facilitating internet surfing and keeping in touch with home or the office is provided for your use. Create the perfect soundtrack to you holiday using the multi-room Sonos music system with the subscription to a premium music service enabling you to listen to virtually any music ever recorded or any radio station anywhere in the world.

The lounge opens to patio with table and chairs with spectacular views over the beach from Porthminster Point to Carrack Gladden (or Hawkes Point), then across the long sandy beach of Hayle and Gwithan all the way to Godrevy Lighthouse. There is a “Welcome Book” packed with information about St Ives and the varied attractions of St Ives. Dining Area

Apartment Aquamarine is furnished in a contemporary style. The spacious dining room comfortably seats 4 people. With the patio doors open, listen to the surf and enjoy the dramatic views across St. Ives Bay. You are rather spoilt for choice with the number of quality restaurants nearby; some offer a takeaway service or why not prepare your meal at home and enjoy the comfort of your apartment. On warmer days you may choose to dine “al fresco”.

Kitchen

The style of the newly fitted kitchen at Apartment Aquamarine is New England Shaker with a contemporary twist; putty colour painted solid oak cabinets are complemented by the muted earthy tones of the high quality porcelain floor and wall tiles. Nice detail touches include the stainless steel porthole in the door which adds to the marine ambience and facilitates a view to the spectacular coastal scenery outside.

The comprehensive equipment includes a split level cooker, hob, microwave, built in fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, freezer, Dualit toaster, kettle, coffee machine, and everything else you would expect from an apartment of this quality, even champagne glasses. There is also a breakfast table with four chairs providing guests with a choice of where to dine. Finally, enjoy the Sonos music system to enjoy any music of your choice whilst you prepare a meal or enjoy a family breakfast.

Bedroom One with En-suite

The master bedroom of apartment Aquamarine has fitted wardrobes and bedside units fitted on two walls and a chest of drawers so you’ll have plenty of storage space. You have the same spectacular views as the lounge – not overlooked it is a pleasure to sleep with the curtains open listen to the waves lapping on the beach below, wake up in the morning and draw the curtains and gaze across Carbis Bay beach. Step out of the bedroom patio doors of your apartment and enjoy breakfast on the patio. From the master bedroom you have a panoramic view of the beach across the bay to St. Ives and from Hayle to Godrevy Lighthouse. Bedroom Two

The second bedroom of Aquamarine is fitted with twin beds which are beautifully dressed with crisp White Company Egyptian cotton bedlinen, large fitted mirrored wardrobes, and a Freeview LCD TV with DVD player. An Ipod dock is provided to enable you to play music to suit your mood. This quiet room will ensure that you sleep well after those long walks on the beach and cliffs. An additional multi-room Sonos player is provided enabling separate or throughout apartment music streaming.

Bathroom One

The newly refurbished bathroom exudes understated style and quality; the muted earthy tones of the Porcelanosa sourced porcelain wall and floor tiles, white sanitary ware and chrome and stainless fittings provide the perfect setting in which to relax and refresh after a hot day on the beach. This fabulous bathroom includes a large shower cubicle with large rain shower and separate moveable shower head, WC, stainless steel heated towel rail, shaver socket, and large contemporary basin set atop a stone shelf with cupboards underneath. Finishing touches such as the large stainless steel porthole mirror continue the maritime theme.

Bathroom Two

The large en-suite to the master bedroom of Aquamarine has also been refurbished in the same style and quality as Bathroom One. The walls and floor are fully tiled in high quality porcelain of muted earthy tones. The white sanitary ware includes a large, double ended bath; large shower cubicle with a choice of fixed rain shower or moveable shower heads; WC, stainless steel heated towel rail, shaver socket and twin wash basins set on a a full width stone shelf. Finishing touches include two large stainless steel porthole mirrors complemented by a matching porthole with frosted glazing in the bathroom door.

Thick, luxurious hotel quality bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person.

Balcony

The balcony of Aquamarine is accessible from either the lounge or the master bedroom, with a patio table and four chairs. St. Ives bay is one of the few to be given the award “Most Beautiful Bays in the World” – it is well deserved. Although completely safe we do recommend that all children are accompanied at all times. The balcony is directly above the garden from which a path leads down to the beach by a private gate. We like to think we have thought of everything and even provide you with four stylish lightweight beach chairs, beach towels and a superb picnic set.

Carbis Beach

Carbis Beach Apartments are located in a commanding position directly above Carbis Bay beach with stunning view across The Bay to St Ives and Godrevy Lighthouse.

Each apartment is centrally heated and furnished to the highest standard to provide year round enjoyment. Some of these 5 star graded apartments are more accessible than others as they can be reached either by stairs, lift or directly from the private gated car park. Once you have unpacked, drink in the views admire the the landscaped gardens and take the private pathway down to the beach.

The two bedroomed accommodation consists of a large lounge/dining room, separate kitchen, master bedroom with en-suite, a second bedroom with twin beds and a family bathroom. The lounge and master bedrooms both have uninterrupted views of Carbis Bay beach and across to St. Ives. There is an allocated parking space behind secure gates and additional parking can be arranged on request.

With regard to the area we have a few favourites to mention that visitors shouldn't miss: Porthcurno beach and The Minnack. Breathtaking. The Telegraph Museum is also a good afternoon out. For a light lunch -the hut near the beach at Perranuthno has good food and the people are so welcoming. A trip around the coast at St Agnes, Kynance Cove. Flambards exhibitions, the walk from Carbis bay into St Ives. The National Maritime Museum at Falmouth. A walk around Godrevy to the seals and then lunch at Godrevy cafe."

  • "Aquamarine was very comfortable, loved the Ipod docking stations! very clean and with everything we needed to have a very relaxing and comfortable holiday. One of the nicest walks was from Porthreath towards the National Trust owned Western Hill leading to Ralph's Cupboard (a collapsed sea cave) along to Bassset's Cove and back through Tehidy Woods. Fantastic coastline and very rugged. Another walk we enjoyed was from St Mawes out along the Percuil Creek and then inland to St Just-in-Roseland Church. Stunning views of Falmouth. In Newquay we did a circular walk from the harbour to the Huer's Hut towards Towan Head, past Fistral beach and out to Pentire Point - stunning views across the sand dunes at Crantock and the River Gannel Estuary. Another good walk is from Padstow heading towards Butter Hole Cave and Pepper Hole to reach the headland at Stepper Point. Amazing views across the Camel Estuary and Doom Bar. We did a 3 mile walk from Polperro to Talland Bay. It is quite steep in parts but again the views are stunning and Talland Bay is very pretty and has a cafe. Meals out that we enjoy include The Garrack Hotel in St Ives, Gurnards Head, The Alba in St Ives (book early to get a table in the window upstairs with terrific views over the harbour), and The Badger Inn at Lelant (always busy and we love the carvery!). We love visiting Geevor Tin Mine and this year we visited King Edwards Mine for the first time."

The standard of the apartment was excellent, very clean, well provisioned and equipped including some new features like the IPad. We walked into St Ives along the coast path which was invigorating. Visited Tate Britain and had afternoon tea in their tea shop. Other places we visited included Mousehole - very quaint, Kynance Cove at the Lizard and Port Issac, home of Doc Martin. I-pads, PS2 and Xbox's for the kids and comfort and space for the adults. The view from the balcony over the bay and seeing the seals swimming was a moment to remember. The cleanliness of the apartment was excellent and the welcome basket was a classy touch. With regard to walks, the Carbis Bay to St Ives coastal path walk was wonderful, with some stop and stare moments at the landscape along the way and good exercise for walking off the lunch from the Porthminster Beach cafe lunch at St Ives for the return journey if you felt fit enough. There is lunch to be enjoyed in Mousehole just half an hour away followed by a visit to St Michaels Mount just 4 miles away or if you venture to Lands End 20 miles away, try to find Sennen Cove just a mile before, much quieter, enjoyable and just as stunning.
    Restaurant wise - The Badger Inn at Lelant a mile away did a hearty Sunday Carvery, whilst the local Italian, La Casita and Becks Fish and Chips in Carbis Bay are to be thoroughly recommended. St Ives is a mile and a quarter away, 3 mins by train that runs from 2 minute walk away or a 25 minute coastal walk has a take your pick supply of restaurants for taste and variety."

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.

For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.

Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
