“We enjoyed a lovely family holiday at the Blue Vista, Michelle the house keeper was very nice and pleasant. Blue Vista is very spacious and very clean, a good apartment for a large family, I am sure we will be back very soon.”
“This was my second holiday using your company and I have to say it was just like the first time, absolutely first class! The accommodation was amazing, the views just out of this world, we couldn’t have asked for anywhere better to stay to enjoy Carbis Bay and St Ives. I love the fact that this property and the previous one we stayed at a few years ago had such a helpful and comprehensive book of instructions on all appliances etc, and recommendations on places to visit and eat at etc, we ate in a few nights and Blue Vista had the best equipped kitchen we've ever had in a holiday home, even down to sharp chopping knives which is a first at anywhere I’ve ever stayed before too! Thank you for making our holiday extra special, I won’t hesitate to recommend you to friends and family and i have no doubt I will be using your company again in the future!”
"We had a wonderful week at Blue Vista, thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and view and the location was perfect"
"We really did enjoy our week at Blue Vista and in Carbis Bay itself. The apartment exceeded our expectations, stunning view, very comfortable, spacious, light and airy and perfect for us all (parents, my sister, 3 children and myself). The open plan layout was great and the use of the Wii and having wifi was excellent. The fluffy white towels and duvets made it very homely and the complimentary cream tea, wine, tea and coffee was all much appreciated. With regards to local restaurants and things we did... we LOVED Becks Fish and Chips and ended up getting take-away from there 3 times, we also had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Carbis Bay Hotel, the food, service and wine all excellent. The Tescos a 5 min drive away was very handy for essentials, as was the CostCutters just up the road from the apartment. We took the train into St Ives and back on a couple of occasions and walked there also, it's a lovely walk and well worth doing. We also walked the other way along the path to Porth Kidney sands, a stunning stretch of beach when the tide is out and great to jog along in the morning. We hired kayaks from Ocean Sports on Carbis Bay beach, but generally spent most of our afternoons body boarding, or just sitting and enjoying the sandy beach and Kellys ice-cream! The blue flag beach with a RNLI lifeguards is ideal. We took a half day trip to Mousehole and Lands End - Mousehole is a truly quaint, tiny fishing village, really beautiful with great little coffee shops. Lands End is pretty touristy, but also worth a trip. We took a short boat trip out to see the seals on the Dolly P from St Ives (£10 per adult £8 per child), it's a fast boat around the bays and out to a small island, we saw 6 of the 40 seals who apparently frequent the island, it was fun and my niece and nephew (7 and 9) really enjoyed it. Loved the scones from Pengenna Pasties, although their too crumbly pasties weren't great. I took myself off to the Barbara Hepworth and thought that was great, peaceful and worth a visit (although still found the staff/curators stuffy!). Blue Vista was a perfect base/home for our weeks holiday in Cornwall."
"We have a wonderful time at Blue Vista, the accommodation was very clean and well maintained. We were really pleased with the location and the car parking was a bonus too. We had a lovely meal in town at the harbour side fish and chip shop as well as pizza express, both great locations and views. We enjoyed drinks at many of the bars on the harbour all very hospitable and welcoming. Overall I was extremely happy with the holiday and will defiantly be returning in the summer."
"Blue Vista was spacious, clean, nicely presented, the view was to die for and the balcony didn’t present any problems with the little ones. The beach is beautiful and brilliant for children so worth the struggle up and down the hill. We went to the Minack theatre which is amazing and saw a show which was very entertaining. We did do take away fish and chips from the local recommended restaurant and ate them on the beach they were very good. We went to Play Zone soft play in Carbis Bay and it was a really good soft play centre even the older kids 13, 14, and 15 enjoyed it!"
"The holiday we spent in St Ives was fantastic, we had many trips, such as to Land´s End, Falmouth, Truro, Penzance, Newquay etc. Blue Vista was also over the top. Stunning view, quiet and lots of space. St. Ives was lovely, no doubt. You can find beautiful shops, restaurants and other places. As a summary: this was my / our first time in Cornwall, but we will return."
"The stay was great, we must have spent hours on the balcony at Blue Vista just looking at the sea view and we even spotted a seal doing its rounds quite close to the beach. The flat is fantastic.I heartily recommend the Italian restaurant in Hayle. Outstanding food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices"
"We had a lovely holiday and very much enjoyed Blue Vista accommodation. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable with glorious views across Carbis Bay to St Ives and initially met all our expectations. One attraction that the whole family enjoyed (on a rainy day) was the Telegraph Museum at Porthcurno. There were 7 of us aged between 7yrs and 73yrs!! and the Museum kept us enthralled for a couple of hours. The fish and chips, bought from the next village, and eaten on the beach were delicious. "

"Blue Vista was spacious & comfortable, clean & tidy when we arrived. The view was stunning - we never tired of looking at it and listening to the waves on the beach.
