You are immediately drawn to the open plan living area and its wonderful double French doors which lead out onto your own private balcony. The living area is purposefully designed to make the most of the stunning sea views, with a leather L shaped sofa and two arm chairs placed in front of the doors. Neutral décor throughout the property gives this lovely apartment a bright and airy feel. Light also streams in from the two additional windows which are at either side of the property. A 40” LED Freeview television with integrated DVD player and selection of dvds, iPod docking cube and complimentary Wi-Fi. A sideboard houses board games and local information.
The dining area is ideally situated between the living area and kitchen, making the most of the sea views through the French doors. A dining table and four chairs are provided, there is also a bistro set on the balcony for alfresco dining. Carbis Bay and St Ives offer a wonderful selection of restaurants and takeaways. The kitchen is located within the open plan living space. The sea views can also be enjoyed from here, with an additional window to let in the fresh Cornish air. The contemporary kitchen offers ample storage within its gloss white units and has sleek black granite work tops and a superb island unit. Integrated dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/tumbler, Neff oven-grill and Neff microwave are provided along with a ceramic Neff hob and extractor. Wood effect flooring is laid throughout and a good selection of utensils and appliances, such as toaster, kettle and cafetiere to help make you feel at home.
Located next to the family bathroom, overlooking the front of the property, the master bedroom offers a comfortable king size bed with crisp white bed linen, bedside tables with matching lamps, built in wardrobe, dressing table with a mirror and stool. The fresh, neutral décor continues into this room. A wall mounted digital LCD television and hairdryer are also provided.
The twin bedroom is located in the centre of the property, ideally situated for a quite nights sleep. Furnished with two single divan beds and solid oak bedside table with matching lamp, double wardrobe with additional drawer storage and mirror. Carpeted throughout, with a window looking to the side of the property. A wall mounted television is also provided for your entertainment with a DVD player.
A cot and high chair are available for our younger guests. We do ask however that you provide your own bedding for the travel cot.
All bedrooms come with quality beds, mattresses, cotton bed linen, hair driers, and ample towels are provided throughout, except beach towels which are unfortunately not provided.
The family bathroom is spacious and is tiled throughout. A white Villeroy & Boch suite has been installed comprising of W.C., freestanding wash hand basin and bath. An integrated shower can be found over the bath, with chrome fixtures and fittings and glass shower screen. A chrome heated towel rail is provided along with a shaver point, mirror and storage cabinet.
A bath towel, hand towel and face cloth are provided for each guest, together with complimentary White Company toiletries.
This apartment is located on the first floor and is accessed via a communal front door with intercom security system.
The balcony of Bosbrea is accessible from the lounge with a bistro set comprising of one patio table and two chairs. Imagine sitting out on your own private balcony enjoying an alfresco meal, pre-dinner drink or quiet read whilst taking in the far reaching sea views across St Ives bay.
Penreen Apartments are a select development of 4 apartments on Boskerris Road, set back from St Ives Road but conveniently positioned to take advantage of the bus routes to St Ives and other local destinations..
Penreen Apartments offer one and two bedroomed apartments which have balconies or garden patio areas and allocated parking is provided outside the apartments.
Built in 2010 to a very high standard, these apartments will be attractive to guests looking for a central base to enjoy the delights of Carbis Bay and St Ives. A Tesco supermarket is nearby and St. Ives is a 20 minute walk away. There is a delightful walk to the beach through the Carbis Bay Valley. The Carbis Bay railway station is about 7 minutes walk downhill, linking St Ives in one direction and St Erth and mainline stations in the other.

"We had a lovely weeks holiday at Bosbrea thank you. It is the first time we have stayed in that part of Cornwall and enjoyed our vist. The accommodation was excellent, everything we had hoped for. We enjoyed reading some of the books in the book case; we’d brought some of our own but read yours instead and enjoyed them. We ate at the Cornish Arms just down the road three times: good food at a good price and very convenient. We also ate at the Seafood Cafe in St Ives and Waves in Penzance. We enjoyed a visit to the Eden Project and St Michaels Mount as well as visiting all the art shops in the neighbouring towns."

In Carbis Bay we had a very good Italian meal across the road at Casa Romano and excellent take away fish and chips from Becks down the road. Would certainly recommend."

In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
