Tremorva is a commanding house in St Ives and sleeps 8 plus 2 infants in four bedrooms. Located on the prestigious Treloyhan Park Road, this large coastal holiday property is just a short walk to the beaches of St Ives and Carbis Bay. There are panoramic ocean views aplenty, a fabulous garden with thermal pool and outdoor table tennis. Inside there's a handmade kitchen, wood burner and all the gadgets any discerning family would desire on a self catering holiday to this award winning destination.
This beautifully furnished room is framed with a huge bay window overlooking St Ives Bay. Relax fireside in a comfy arm chair during the cooler months and relive those board game days. A selection of logs for the wood burner are provided for your stay.
Towards the rear of the room, a large modular sofa is arranged for guests to enjoy the 55” HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with Sky Movies and BT Sport, Sky On Demand and a complimentary Netflix subscription providing endless cartoons, films, series and documentaries. There is also a bluetooth soundbar with wireless subwoofer to provide a cinematic experience. There is also a Playstation III console incorporating a DVD player along with a DVD library and PS3 games selection. Bi-fold doors open out to the rear south facing terrace.
Open plan and sociable with the kitchen, the dining area is positioned to enjoy a superb sea view across the bay. Seating 8, this table is a great spot to sample some of the delights of Cornwall cooked up by your nominated chef. Mood lighting and a funky gas bowl fire enable you create the perfect ambiance. Should you wish to have a night off cooking, you could consider a ”ready meal” from Food4MyHoliday, beautifully prepared by the award winning team at Red Earth Kitchen. A babysitting service is also available.
Guests can also hide away in the den with a favourite film or book and that all inspiring ocean view to Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond. There is a 37″ Smart LED TV and younger members will enjoy the selection of toys, games and books provided in the dining room sideboard.
Superfast Broadband enables our Wifi connection to be better than most.
The bespoke kitchen created by local craftsman George Robinson, boasts simple clean lines and elegant surfaces. It has been hand painted to tie in beautifully with the window dressings to the kitchen area. Bi-fold doors open out from the kitchen to the terrace dining area.
You will find everything you need for entertaining here. Chef can enjoy cooking at the island with the most wonderful sea view and the company of guests sat at the bar stools. The owners have thought of everything with a range cooker and large gas hob, an American Fridge Freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, a built in combi oven/microwave and separate built in oven. An instant hot water tap, toaster, hand blender, mixer and plenty of other appliances are provided to make your stay a home from home.
Laundry facilities are available in a separate utility room with a washing machine and dryer, along with a wc and sink. Two high chairs are also stored here ready for any smaller members of the family who wish to join in at the table.
Bedroom One with En-Suite
Bedroom one is accessed from its own stairway and has a king size (5ft) bed. With its own sea facing balcony and floor to ceiling doors, guests will be spoilt with the view. There is a double wardrobe, two bedside units and a chest of drawers. Entertainment is provided with a wall hung 32″ Smart TV and iPod dock and coastal object d’art add a real sense of Cornwall to your stay.
The perfect place to pamper is the indulgent en-suite shower room.
This spacious first floor bedroom boasts a king-size (5ft) bed, double wardrobe with full length mirror inside, two bedside units and chest of drawers. Enjoy the ever-changing view of St Ives through the large bay window and watch the wall hung 32″ Smart TV from the comfort of your bed.
Bedroom two has use of the family bathroom just across the hall.
Bedroom Three with En-Suite
Also positioned to the front of the property, bedroom three is located on the first floor and has a large window drinking in the ocean views. This room also boasts a super-king (6ft) zip and link bed which can be arranged as two single (3ft) beds upon request. There is a freestanding full length mirror, two bedside units, a chest of drawers and 32″ wall mounted Smart TV, along with a walk in wardrobe and the benefit of an en-suite shower room.
The fourth and final bedroom of this beautiful home is located on the first floor overlooking the sunny rear terrace and garden. It boasts two single beds (3ft) and has a built in wardrobe, a chest of drawers and bedside unit. A wall hung 32″ Smart TV provides entertainment here and guests have use of the family bathroom just across the hall.
A hairdryer can be found in all four bedrooms.
Main Family Bathroom
The family bathroom is located on the first floor and is easily accessible to bedrooms two, three and four. The bathroom suite comprises a luxury stone bath, wash basin perched upon a beautiful French teak storage unit, a striking co ordinating mirror and a large towel rail and wc. The spacious walk-in rain shower is a real treat with body jets and a separate hand shower.

The en-suite to bedroom three has a walk in rain shower with separate hand shower, wash basin, mirror and wc. Storage is available on some bespoke shelving.
A hand towel, bath towel, and bath sheet are provided for each guest, together with complimentary White Company toiletries.
The beautiful and tranquil rear garden is enclosed and very private.
For the active, at the bottom of the garden is a table tennis table along with a boules lawn. Beach toys, garden games, a wind break and boogie boards can be found in the coast inspired beach hut. A heated outside shower is also a great addition for any sandy toes coming off the beach!
Those looking for a more sedate pace of life can enjoy a glass of something cold on the terrace or relax in the thermal pool. Find your sun trap and unwind as the house buzzes around you.
There is a coal BBQ here and the large round sociable dining table and chairs seat 8. There are also some relaxed seating options for whiling away the afternoons with a great book.
UPDATE: New for 2018, the turf has been upgraded to high quality artificial grass so that it may be enjoyed all year round.

We had a marvellous time at Tremorva. This was actually our 3rd visit to this wonderful house. The views are amazing! It was spotlessly clean as usual and it is very well equipped with everything possible that you could think of provided. We've already booked for next year! We had a fabulous family holiday in St Ives over Christmas. The layout of Tremorva is perfect for a family gathering as it has a sociable dining area and plenty of space in the other reception rooms to relax. The Den was great for my niece to base herself with the baby after early morning wake ups and the teenagers enjoyed this room later when they wanted their own space. The lounge area felt very festive and was where we spent a lot of our time playing board games in the evening in front of the cosy log fire. This house made for a very special Christmas break. In order to make a booking, please either click on the Booking Calendar dates or enter your Arrive and Depart dates of your holiday, please bear in mind these should be a Changeover Day during April to October or in any school holiday period, unless at late notice.
For late notice breaks ie arrivals within 7 days, all breaks are discounted by 25% unless the owner has set a minimum rental, the dates can overlap a changeover day if the Arrive Date is within 7 days.
Short stays of 3 nights minimum are available between October and March, excluding bank holidays and school holidays. If booked in advance, the short break cannot overlap a changeover day.
